  2. 3/26/10 By: Jack Munson The Imperial Airships were rerouted to Pulaski last night following a mandatory evacuation under executive order from the Consuls. Commander Suk asked for the evacuation after reports from recon ships claimed the Raider reinforcements were merely hours away, and are predicted to arrive earlier and in greater force then was previously expected. New calculations put the size of the reinforcements at an astonishing 1-2 thousand Raiders. Preparing for a long and bloody battle, the Ground Forces have swelled to 500+ soldiers in the area, but it is unlikely that other reinforcements will arrive before the battle begins. Consul Locke released a statement earlier today saying "Evacuations are necessary to prevent large loss of civilian life from enemy attacks during what shall be known as The Battle for Pulaski." The airships are expected to arrive at 1800 hours CST and will be departing from Beechwood Farm at 0000 hours. They will then proceed to Capital Peninsula and are scheduled to land at 0100 hours atop the capitol. Expect more news as the battle begins. Reporting from the front, this has been Jack Munson.
  3. 3/25/10 By: Jack Munson Citizens of the city of Pulaski woke to the joyful ringing of church bells this morning as they found their city free of Raider terror. Members of the 21 Military Ground Division made the push last night to free the city, fearing continued Raider attacks on the Echo Lake Watch Station. While the attack was highly successful, culminating with almost 30 Rangers Dead at the loss of only 2 soldiers, freedom came at a price. Many civilians missing and many pronex buildings destroyed or heavily damaged. As a result of increased Raider activity on the southern border, Consul Smith is expected to hold a conference with his Chief of Military operations, Frederick Suk, to discuss possible ways to end the violence there, but now that seems unlikely. Commander Suk wrote to us from the southern front saying "The recent crisis here requires my full attention at the moment, however I will be meeting with Consul Smith at a later date to discuss our growing problem with the Raiders. In regard to future operations here, all I can say is that we can not rest, and we will be apprehending the Raiders very soon." It is believed that the Raiders retreated into the Green Acres area, which will cause a severe risk to Ground personnel, because it is the high ground, and they will have to act quickly because the Raiders could have reinforcements in less than 3 days. We'll keep you updated as this story continues to develop. With ENN News, I'm Jack Munson.
