1. Now, if LSF merged with Shangri-La. That would be a truly great alliance.
2.
Good to see it up...
Been trying to get it up for a while.
3.
You should forcefully disband him.
Seconded.
4. And so fare thee well, Kaiser Martens. Thou never shalt hear Bob any more.
5. That post would make sense if this war wasn't about destroying alliances/blocs the current hegemony doesn't like.
6. Post-war, people will rebuild. Coalitions might change.
7. This only confirms my suspicions. There are no women on the Internet.
8. Am I more than you bargained for yet? Oh don't mind me I'm watching your warchests from Bert Stare Wishing to be the friction in your alliance Isn't it messed up how I'm just dying to roll him? 10.
Why does everyone expect me to fight until I've reached a point where my nation is unstoppable, then peace out? That's a little late, and there's no way I would let an alliance destroy all the expensive parts of my nation and get away with it. The weaker I get, the stronger my relative strength becomes, and after the several months of war people mentioned here I would have no interest in rebuilding my nation. If I lose another 50k nation strength and a billion dollars I'm never stopping, I've made this clear many times in the past. There is a point of no return and luckily we haven't passed it yet.
If you don't want to do that, you can sit in peace mode forever. You're being extremely obtuse. Your nation is losing value the longer you keep it. You might as well cash in now and do some serious damage to your enemies. You really only have two options, fight until your warchest runs out or pay reps and be a terrible stat-hugger. Point of no return? Well, let's see. You crossed the first line when you decided to rogue. You crossed the second line when you violated the terms of your agreement with GPA. You crossed the third line when you posted this attention-mongering thread. At this point, it's sink or swim. You can cross the last line and win the Special Olympics by leaving Peacemode to tear your enemies a new one. Make me proud, son.
11. Doesn't really make a difference since most of your allies' upper tiers are in PM. Umbrella should've pre-empted all of XX instead of just hitting Fark and letting the rest slip into PM.
12. You have a six billion dollar warchest, but no gumption to use it? Seriously, why are you here whining? If you don't like the terms, you should grind NpO and GPA until they offer you better terms or until your WC runs out. You're being silly coming on here thinking you'd get any sympathy from anyone. You'll only be respected if you actually go out and start actually fighting. Also, get over the perfectionist stuff, nuke turtling is neither hard nor time consuming.
13. Tbh, I only came to this thread for Dave.
14. Mewgar. You should join Bal Masqué. Du sollst Maskenball beitreten.
15. OOC: CNRP. 19th century politics. 20th century tactics. 21st century technology.
16.
I would bet many alliances would want to be as incompetent as Non Grata sitting second only to IRON. (Sorry GPA, you're neutral and don't count). Alliance Strength: 13,672,344 Average Nation Strength: 51,789 Score: 51.79 Infrastructure: 1,875,975 Technology: 1,030,805 Nukes: 4,377 If those numbers are a result of incompetence, then where do I sign up? 17. I nominate Kankou and Executive Minister.
18. A New Chapter About eight centuries ago, an unnamed nun memorized 10,200 books, many of which were originally forbidden by the One and Holy Catholic Church, in order to preserve the knowledge necessary to defend Christendom and to promote the Word of God. She maintained a catalog of information, which military scientists used to perfect instruments for the defense of the institutions of God and tacticians learned to effectively mobilize the faithful against the heathen masses. Saint Index, as she would later be called, carried in her mind numerous forbidden texts that held terrible secrets including the contradictions and failings of Church doctrine. To the enemies of her disciples, who continued the mission of gathering data to preserve the future of Christianity, she was a dangerous heretic, a firebrand zealot, or an idealistic fool. In reality, she kept to herself and quietly rewrote the words of men who conspired to usurp the words of other men who brought the word of God to his creations. She recognized something many of the faithful before and after her did not. Index realized that men transcribed the Word of God and, thus, his message would be diluted by their machinations. She understood that in order to fight evil and win converts, we cannot turn a blind eye to evil but see through it and understand it. Moreover, the Church of the olden days supported a policy of suppressing science, which, at the time, was viewed as a rebellion against divinity itself. Index rejected this dichotomy of religion and science, and proposed that the two were entirely compatible. Through learning and teaching, one can move closer to Christ and our mathematicians and physicists can attest to the holiness of God's hand in the fundamental properties of the universe. When Constantinople was sacked during the Fourth Crusade, the Imperial Library of Constantinople was razed and thousands of volumes were lost to the sands of time. More knowledge would have been stripped from humanity had it not been for the efforts of that unnamed nun who arrived before the invasion, memorized hundreds of texts, and organized the evacuation. In gratitude, several hundred denizens of the city and repentant crusaders joined her efforts to preserve human knowledge. We sought sanctuary in France under the protection of the wise Duke Christian II of Burgundy. Since then, we've lived in secrecy with the only vestige of our existence lying in the Library of the Holy Index. Yet our might grew in the shadows, we built libraries, archived the endless volumes, established universities to attract new recruits, and eventually started training our own defense force. God blessed our existence and protected us even during the nadir of French persecution under less competent leadership. Our presence in Burgundy remained strong and now, we've grown strong enough to assert control of the dominion granted to us by Her Royal Majesty Josephine d'Orléans Reine de France. Today, I offer a prayer for the future of France: the Queen, the Country, and the People. I offer a prayer for the future of our Holy Order: the Index, the Knowledge, and the Knights. I offer a prayer for the future of Christendom: the Clergy, the Laity, and the faithless masses that need God's grace and affection. I offer a prayer for the future of the Trinity: God, Christ, and Holy Ghost. I offer a prayer for you who are reading this unrestrained declaration of our dedication to our faith and our mission. It matters not your race, creed, or origin, because God loves all of his children. Here we stand, ready to face the new era, ready to embrace the new age, ready to turn the page into a new chapter. God willing, we will continue to spread His Word and to preserve the knowledge accrued by His Children throughout the ages. With your help, we can lead legions of the faithful into the Kingdom of Heaven. Signed for the Holy Order of Saint Index, Catherine de Lyon Her Holiness the Grand Mistress of the Fellow-Scholarly Soldiers of the Forbidden Texts and the Imperial Library of Constantinople 11th Keeper of the Index Mistress of the Dominion of Florez-Lyonnais
