Stewie my friend, I got you to reconsider leaving last time, but I don't think I can do so this time. Not that I want to anyway.
Gains be with you.
I'll always be there if you need a spot.
-
Mainly all it requires in the lower tiers is activity, it's hard to win a GA against someone who is always able to rebuy troops within a few moments of being attacked. (This is also why you should not attack at the same time every day, since it allows your opponent to prepare for your attack fairly easily.)
Yep.
Back in my PC days, before I could field over 150k troops, coordinated attacks with your war buddies was always the best way to crush GA's and maximize land gains. Then deploy home so they can't beat you in a counter attack.
If he/she don't rebuy troops, I've another problem: victory chance too high
Sell racks, GCs, lower defcon and cancel trades. If its still too high that's on you homie.
-
All you have to do to be profitable is loot more from offensive ground attacks than damage you'll take from 6 nukes + 12 or more CMs. Real raiders don't lose GAs.
This usually starts to happen around the 10k+ tech mark though, there are notable exceptions of really good fighters in the lower tier.

DBDC are like the rest of the alliances in the blob who can’t move without NPO’s ok and while individually huge, collectively are far too small to be a danger.
Sound like you're getting your lines from thespindoctor.

It's been great knowing you. I was going to say that it's a pity that you are going but then I saw this:
Immediately I realized that you are doing the right thing.
Please make another thread marveling at Cuba's infra

Hellamad. I'm coming for you Cuba and Artigo! I'll give your toes such a whipping, you'll think a gnat was biting you. :smug:
Cum at me bro
Earlier in the conflict your alliance did the same exact thing, so you really don't have the room to criticize Sparta here.
This is Samus you're talking to lol

This treaty is dank

The thing is
The thing is there is no penalty whatsoever for leaving your nation defenseless and without law enforcement. It's like The Purge 24/7 over there except for 3 weeks in a row. They just buy troops on the last day of the back collect, collect taxes, and immediately delete them. Either that's a bug or it's a complete exploit of mechanics.
-
It's literally right on the homepage

I'm also sure you can go below 20% soldiers, which correct me if I'm wrong usually puts you into anarchy, by buying lots of infra. That doesn't put you in anarchy either. You get a notice next to your soldier count saying you need to buy more though.
Again, huge difference between increased infra count requiring more soldiers AND deliberately selling off your nations entire military, suffering no
financialconsequences period.Matter of fact, it's actually beneficial to not have a military. Less bills on top of not actually suffering any penalty.
Exploit 11/10
Maybe they use contractors instead of soldiers......
I've been trying to get pmcs in this game for years don't play that homie
-
This is clearly a travesty of game coding, you could even call it game breaking, someone should punish these neutrals for having zero soldiers.
Definitely. But why stop there? No one should be able to use this exploit.
Seems ridiculous to have a functioning government/nation and have no personnel in the defense department.
-
You recieve the ability to switch out of anarchy 2 days after your soldier count is depleted. You still suffer negative collection effects of having no troops if you do it, just not anarchy ones a day after switching.
But you can just buy troops the day you decide to collect.
Sounds like more of an exploit than a bug now that you point that out.
-
All Nations when created have 0 soldiers and they also get to choose what government they want. Any change would result in all new Nations starting off in anarchy for 3 days in effect.
Date of creation and 3,000 days-in are not anywhere close to the same scenario.
-
It appears some nations have discovered a bug where it's possible to not be in anarchy despite having ZERO SOLDIERS DEFENDING THEIR NATION

I didn't think it was possible to have a stable, functioning government without a standing military

Perhaps bending a knee is normal behavior for one such as yourself, but I prefer to live bloodied upon my feet rather than upon my knees.
In this moment, Mogar is euphoric.

I understand that CT has now been banned from CN.

That's epic, man. I thought that was a DBDC thing, though. Lending us you and Artigo to speed things along. I don't ask NPO to thank me for fighting SNX. That was an NG thing. I just tagged along. But it's obvious that you're a legend in your own mind who did everything himself. No need to thank the AA that arranged it, not when you can keep posting ancient grievances against them.
CT believes he is a legend so that's enough for him. Funny enough, many alliances considered him a war dodger/aa hopper. Only difference here is his raging hard-on for Cuba.
Also
Hey Trojans, did you give back all that Ill gotten tech/land/infra you feel so bad about yet?
-
Really no date, do people have to beg for proper leaks.
December 02, 2013 -- i just checked the skype log.
I can see why CT would want to leave the date out

DBDC strikes again!

Even if they coordinate, if you are fighting 4 20k tech nations, you have 3 times the tech, and that gives you a huge odds advantage, I know this because even having a 5-10k tech advantage this war on some of my opponents prevents them from winning any GAs against me, even after a nuke and coordination.
Also, running GAs against you, also means you can roll out on them, and I dont even want to know how much tech/land you steal per GA, But I am guessing that you can probably make up for most of those losses with a few GAs. So tactically its basically pointless to try.
Realistically I don't see any nations in my range below 35k, but I understand the point you're trying to make. I don't know the *exact* correlation, but honestly tech doesn't contribute as much to actual % battle odds as I thought it might.
And against smaller nations this is true, but against nations with as large an infra count as I described again I wouldn't be winning all of my GAs and they wouldn't be losing all of theirs. It's relative.
-
But realistically running GAs against you super top tier guys is pointless, between your huge land values, and huge tech advantage, its almost impossible to beat you in a GA.
4v1; 25k infra each is at least 200k troops a piece. 800k troops 80k tanks + CMs will definitely win close to, if not more than, 50% against 350k troops. Even with land/tech advantage you're not going to be able defend 100% unless you're there to rebuy.
Assuming they can coordinate.
-
The nature of war in CN is that infra melts pretty fast. I usually experience more ground fighting in the first week of a front than I expect to in subsequent weeks.
Naturally. You are getting at least a week of ground fighting in the onset tho?
Inevitably the fight becomes each side exchanging missiles, but im curious if the other tiers see the en masse day one soldier sell-off that I'm accustomed to.

I considered buying 10k infra to pass Hime, but I'm trying to get into the 100 billion warchest club
