  1. I find it amusing that you define scratches as losing infra/tech/land, all of which can be very easily replaced. That being said, all I see is you complaining about how you don't like what happened/that ZH members are being accepted into other alliances. As others have said before, if you don't like it, stop !@#$%*ing and do something about it. I'm sure the generous alliances will be quite happy to hear from you.
  2. We aim to entertain, I suppose. Best of luck to those of Zero Hour moving on to greener (pun unintended?) pastures. May your travels go well.
  3. Aww, I'm going to miss DarkMistress. Also, this post needs more bakamitai. Even if he's already in it.
  4. I always thought my name was easy to pronounce, but since only about two people have ever gotten it right...Ayrrie=eye-ree. Stress on the first syllable. It is not air-ee.
  5. How did this become a thread about daggarz when daggarz isn't even in the alliance? Focus, people. Anyway, good luck to Troy! Watch out for those horses--I hear they're a trap. Also for pretty blondes. Also, SpiderJerusalem, can I have some of that aid?
  6. Gotta love the haters. Congratulations on the milestone, guys, and keep growing!
  7. Chocolate covered bacon? D: Yohan, I'm not doing your bypass when you have heart problems. Also, o/ us. (Can anyone figure out how to make the Spock hand?)
  8. *waves to Haflinger* Onwards to doubling our nuke count within the next month!
  9. Aaaaaaaand the partying commences. Seriously, three guys left in charge? There's going to be SO much beer in there... (Have fun, Airikr/Beernuts/Desp. Enjoy it while it lasts.)
  10. I'm pretty sure that discussion was open to more than Magistrates, Peggy. How would you know about it otherwise, given that you've never had access to the Magistrate-level stuff? Your outrage is cute, though.
  11. Someone's saying that mhawk shouldn't accept terms when he couldn't get a straight answer on them. That's fair. However, the terms have now been published for the entire cyberverse to see. It's been made clear what the actual version of the terms are--if MK decided to switch up the outside aid or amount of reps paid, the entire Cyberverse would know, and it would reflect very poorly on them. TPF now has no leg to stand on with that argument, so that reason for not accepting the terms now is out. Second, the war is about retribution. No one can argue against that with a straight face. I'd say the tech reps to PC are probably the best example of this retribution being enacted--there is no doubt that TPF has wronged PC (and to be fair, PC have been dicks in return, but they did win). I'd say it's also an absolute certainty that TPF would not have made a sincere attempt to bury the hatchet with PC after the NAP debacle without something like this happening. I know for a fact that TPF had a load of logs that they were going to use to try and isolate PC during this war so they could smash them. I don't see why Karma has any reason to lower that term more than it has been.
  12. Or, wonder of wonders, they can agree to hold off on taking reps payments until TPF has rebuilt itself to a point where paying won't be a struggle. It's been done before, and without an explicit term in the surrender document. My one quibble with the terms would be the apparent lack of a protection clause while TPF is under terms if they get raided by an alliance. Sure, they can defend themselves, but ought not the victors take responsibility for ensuring that their reparations source is safe?
  13. I'm not sure where people get off insulting Deathcat. There's such a thing as loyalty to friends, which, amazingly enough, takes precedence over delighting in stomping pixels. I know DC has played where and how he has for the friendship's he's made, not for the silly "politics" of the game. In any case, Deathcat is nicer, wiser, and more intelligent than at least 95% of you--he is certainly not wise enough to care about how people try to paint him on an internet forum. So I suppose that I, too, am not as wise as he is, for I certainly do care.
  14. No, I'd go with "grossly unnecessary" when you're on the losing side and trying to get fairer terms. Mouthing off to the people determining those terms won't help you. It's like putting on a dress and go-go dancing in diplomatic talks (did I get the VL reference right?)
  15. I'm assuming it's the Poison Clan parts he finds distasteful? In any case, these terms are far lighter than I would have expected for TPF. I'm amazed the rest of the government hasn't pressured him to accept them.
  16. Well, it's about time! Congrats, you guys. I'd make a Poe reference, but that was only applicable if I got second post, so I'm too lazy to go do it now.
  17. I really, really don't understand why people keep trying to argue RV into doing things the "correct" or "proper" way. He's going to keep calling out hypocrisy as he sees it until something changes or people start ignoring him (although I'm not sure on that last one). For heaven's sakes, do you all like beating your heads against a wall that much? If so, by all means, continue destroying what little brain cells are left on OWF. Also, I quite enjoy RV's shenanigans. As he said, it's much more interesting than the gazillionth DoE or treaty/milestone announcement. Heck, it's even more interesting than DoWs. Carry on, good sir. Edited for emoticon fail. Also to mention that I, too, realize that I am beating my head against a wall here, but sometimes the pain is good.

    Next war?

First: Not that I'm saying you did anything wrong, but recruitment from ANY AA ought to be forbidden, don't you think? Second: !@#$%^&*. I'm ex-Elysium and even I can admit this. Yes, they beat us in sheer numbers of nations. However, when you combined the average age of our nations, our military capacity, diplomatic connections, and our experience in the game, we had such a huge advantage that their numbers couldn't make up for it. Don't go around trying to play that off like we were the underdogs standing up against a wrong--there was absolutely no chance we'd lose that war. I don't want to debate whether this thread is stupid/bawwing/emo (what?)/whatever. There are plenty of other people doing that. EDIT: Missed something. Funny, isn't that what you did to OV?
  19. In all honesty, this treaty probably should have been canceled immediately after Purplegate, if not earlier. Glad to see it finally happened. No sense in being weighed down by a treaty that won't be upheld. Also, I really don't see how treaties with NPO and Valhalla after the Viceroyship were a slap in the face. Obtaining new friends is only an insult to the old friends if they let it be.
  20. Congratulations, you guys! Good luck--with your experience, I'm sure you'll be doing very well.
  21. I, Ayrrie of Beruriah, do hereby surrender to the forces of Karma (and others involved on their side). I therefore also resign from TPF. Also, before anyone goes "ZOMG TERMS DECOM WUT": The tanks will be decommed in 2 days; the nukes will be decommed as my piss-poor income allows. EDIT: Terms fully complied with. I think.
  22. I beg to differ. Legion entering GW3 against TOP and FAN, anyone? I remember much bawwing about NAPs being broken there. Don't pretend like you're special. Anyway, this is not the time nor the place for this load of BS to be brought up again.
  23. I'm pretty sure I'll have to go with Deathcat and Kryievla here.
  24. I would consider a senator who doesn't think just as dangerous, if not more so, as one who acts maliciously or in a knowingly rogue fashion. But that's not really the main point of the sanctioning argument in this thread, so I'll leave it at that.
  25. Given that we've proven that Sparta has an excess of free slots, and given that they've lamented that excess, I really don't see why they couldn't have just had some of their bored lower-level nations hit RV instead of going for a questionable sanction. It's not like all of their nations are 100% committed to the big war and need all of their cash. It would, in fact, be rather pathetic if that were the case, given all of the alliances currently fighting NPO and company. A very unintelligent decision, and a very good showing of what is to come. Stay classy, Sparta.
