July already?
It seems like mere hours since I saw the children, but those hours, have now lasted for five months. The weather is awful, and I am having a hard time getting enough sleep. The generals say that we will soon be making the final push, but the others say that thats what they have been saying for the last 3 years. For every day there goes by, I think about the children and you. I dream of the beautiful British country side, were the strawberry plants decorates the fields where children run and play. I only hope that I will one day be able to come home and see this sight again, perhaps I am becoming delusional, but some days I get the feeling that I might see you again.
Sincerely yours George Blackadder
