1. Make sure you don't get any people joining that AA of yours. Or you'll have to call yourself "I stand with this guy".
  2.
Same point.
I figured as much. Thank you.
  3. I give it 3 weeks before GOONS pass MK.
  4.
I can't decide whether you better fit the role of Viserys or Stannis.
Omg spoilers.
  5. If I might ask, are moon mines, moon colonies and moon bases meant to be moved to the same point for maximum effectiveness? Or are there separate coordinates for all?
  6.
I am not a prophet, because the nominalization of the Mushroom Kingdom won't happen if people don't do anything out of either fear or cronyism.
Is there someone posting that no one else can see?
  7.
Selling 3.50 tech for however much it is worth. http://www.cybernati...ation_ID=492229 there is my nation link PM me ingame if you are interested
Your best bet is to find someone willing to enter a tech deal with you. They'll give you $3mil, and you give them 50 tech 10 days later. That'll be the best way to grow your nation as well, as there is quite a lot left over.

    Analogies

Analogies are useful, or else they wouldn't exist. To suggest they aren't "equivalencies" is irrelevant. To someone who has never seen oil, I could say it is "sort of like water, because they're both liquids". Unless they're actually mentally challenged, they probably won't decide to drink it based on that evidence alone.
  9.
People toss that word around a lot, but it seems to mean something different to everyone. In this case I can safely say I really don't what you mean at all. The reason I even bothered to address the humor in this thread is because it bothers me to see GATO making a big joke out of its recent changes. There was once a time when you could count on GATO to be the voice of reason and diplomacy. They were a bit arrogant, yeah, but understandable given their size and history, and at least you knew they would be the last AA to unthinkingly tag along with the hegemony just to stay safe or to fit in with the in crowd. So to see GATO join a bloc that is known to be a satellite of DH/PB, and gleefully join along in a pre-emptive strike during a war over a 2-year-old grudge (even DoW'ing with "'Sup MHA?") is a bit unsettling. In fact, here's what you wrote at the time: So I have no idea why you would want to try to dismiss my comment here considering it bears a lot of similarity to yours (i.e., a serious comment about GATO changing that breaks up everyone joking and congratulating themselves).
Your dedication to finding a quote by myself from 3 months ago deserves a non-sarcastic +1. Your point, unfortunately, isn't really mine. I voiced uncertainty with where the "new" GATO was going. I don't like seeing them become cannon fodder any more than countless others, but that's their decision. In truth, my comment to you was nothing more than a jest. Apologies if it seemed untoward, but my opinion on GATO right here, right now, is still a sturdy "eh". That being said, I do like a few of the government members, so I can genuinely congratulate the General Assembly for displaying a degree of competence that seemed not to be there while I sat on that podium months back.
  10.
The tried and true CN tactic of taking a reasonable criticism and pre-empting it with a hugely exaggerated joke straw man. Add several pages of people from the AA reinforcing the joke (e.g, "We're literally monsters!") for maximum suppression of serious commentary.
Translation: I'm going to analyse humour because I want to be a comedy hipster.
  11.
This is the moon hotspot. Uploading screengrab in a minute.
I received 99% with those precise coordinates.
  12.
You can't dispute their argument with facts, that not fair.
Huh. I guess the OP was right.
  13.
Using ip's and chasing across re-rolls is now considered ENTIRELY IC? Dear god though, should MK poke fun at people on our own boards...WORSE THAN NPO. What a joke.
Is it just your own boards, though?
  14.
Well, in that case, how embarrassing for you. I'll do the polite thing and change the subject to direct the focus elsewhere. You're welcome.
Thank you, Pezstar. I'm in your debt.
  15.
My point, which appears to have gone sailing over your head, is that you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the Cyberverse who believes that there were any political positives over the last couple of years as a result of our treaty with NpO. Let it serve as proof to you that it's not about politics for some alliances. It never has been for STA.
Your point was perfectly clear a few posts back. It's just falling on the wrong ears. Several times.
  16.
For some. For others, they have nothing to do with politics.
Well then for goodness sake, good luck with whatever you think this is
  17.
We're not trying to accomplish anything by cancelling this treaty. The fact that you are misunderstanding the situation is not a surprise, given that we haven't made you privy to the reasons for the cancellation. We have reasons, but they have nothing to do with accomplishing anything, or political goals.
Of course it's a political goal. That's what treaties are.
  18.
Very nice Symphony and Colossus Too bad about that Auctor guy
He's okay if we shoot medication at him with a BB gun.
  19.
Yes, 90% of people here have no clue about the STA at all. That is correct. A small portion of that 90% seem to think this lack of knowledge should be made evident by posting nonsense on this forum. Usually just the nonsense someone else with out a clue has passed on to them. What new political campaign would that be?
You're digging a little deep. I was simply offering well wishes. The new "political campaign" would be whatever you're trying to accomplish by cancelling this treaty. Note that I didn't say agenda, because that word has nasty connotations in this realm.
  20.
The only place we have been an extension of the NpO is in the minds of people who don't have any idea about the STA at all.If you think this cancellation will change the attitude of the STA at all then you are mistaken.
90% of Planet Bob, you mean. Sentiments aside, good luck on your new political campaign.
  21.
It's always better in the past.
I started playing in late '08, so I've no clue. If it wasn't, make all the older players stop saying it was
  22. You'll find that most alliances are the same. The difference is where you can tolerate most of the government. If you can get drunk and not hate them, join their alliance.
