I have to ask ... What does "Don't ask, don't tell" have to do with role playing as a constitutional republic? a constitutional republic is a democracy, where everyone can speak freely, and enjoy inalienable rights that are not limited to what you can and cannot say. That clause itself seems like it would drive away people, because folks like to talk about various political and such things in back channels. Furthermore, a Constitutional Republic, even in role-play, would not promote the infringement of free speech.

Although I sincerely appreciate all the good words, perhaps I should state that we wasn't founded as a LGBT alliance, although most of our membership is of such a community, it has no bearing on our policies, politics, or decisions, and the term rainbow is to signify our team preference. Just ask Seipher what I said when he made that flag But, I would think that most alliances in the world today can be considered "GLBT-friendly", unless you look at the more extremist ones, and the lulz alliances.

Hello my fellow Cyberverse Citizens, today I wish to formally announce my alliances existence. The Rainbow Federation is a multi-colored micro-alliance founded on the principles of Peace, Friendship, and Fun. It is our goal to develop strong friendships within, and outside of our alliance. We do not seek a large membership, fame, or a future sanction, but to ensure a peaceful, co-existence with our fellow cyberverse citizens. Now, without further adieu, I present our credentials. What self-respecting alliance wouldn't post a DoE without giving due recognition to those people on the outside who may have contributed an alliance with their skills, or knowledge?
