I would like to extend my thanks to all members of the AUP for their continued understanding and patience, as my nation has still not yet blossomed in its entirety. Ah, then let me clear up the situation: I thought that simply being allowed access onto the African continent made one a member of the pact, and not that there was a voting process, so forgive me for my apparent forwardness on that issue. As for our ambitions: those are to create a nation where mercenaries and soldiers who feel that they are not being accepted or receiving the treatment they have deserved, for their service to their country, or even themselves can be accepted. I find this to be a novel concept on this Earth, and therefore those are the reasons I find to label them unconventional. I hope you can understand, and believe I should learn more about the AUP before deciding whether it is the right course for my nation.
