This part comes to mind: In other words: in a few weeks we will officially disband. We are not just going to immediately disband. We want to make GOONS have to work for every piece of technology they steal.

This would be our second time, actually. If anything happens that we stop being destroyed before we officially disband, then we might stick around. Otherwise, we won't last forever, so we will eventually be forced to leave. No. None of those logs had anything to do with peace. But on a side note, they are forcing us to disband by giving us bad terms, such as beg for peace and ZI for the leader.

And to think that we were ready for ZI. As our great, ex-emperor once said: you find help in the strangest of places--specifically in people you never knew. Wolf Empire might stick around. We won't be officially be disbanding for a few weeks, anyways. (Me because I won't be home to login to change my AA for as long.)

It's sad, really. People are too afraid to lose a little infrastructure... I promise, it will come back!

The wars are not over tech raiding. If they were, GOONS would not have hit the single man that did not have tech.

Being in a war, it's rather hard to find anyone willing to protect us. You try it.

Actually, it was eight, but GH told the emperor to go into peace mode and join another alliance, since he was our main financier. (25k NS.) The other one wasn't hit yet, so he decided to bail for a while as well.

Who defines what is and what isn't an alliance? Apparently, Wolfpack, LBA, MCXA, OO, and all the members of TSU recognized us as an alliance.

Fortunately, a few of us have decided to join the NpO, possibly. Trust me, we already have plans for what to do after. (And really, how could we prepare? We got a protection from Wolfpack: they did nothing to help us prepare. We had a treaty with LBA: they were too afraid to send aid.)

There you have it. This whole thing to teach us a lesson over what one person said.

With what cash flow? No one is about to take a chance at giving a micro at war aid.

Recognition of War and Disbandment Dispatched from Greg House: It is on this solemn day that Wolf Empire gives its final orders. GOONS has recently attacked our fine alliance in what was called a "tech raid". We soon found out afterwards that this wasn't about the tech after they declared war on a nation that didn't even have a single technology level. After Greg House went for peace negotiations, we were told this: [removed] The final terms given were that Greg House be sentenced to ZI, and that every nation that wanted peace go to the GOONS forums to beg for it. This will not do. Our pride is worth far more than their self esteem. And for their government to think that we should be the lucky ones to not pay reparations is extremely silly. It is to this end that we formally recognize a state of defensive war against GOONS. On a much sadder note, we also hereby are forced to disband due to this to protect our nations from further harm. While we will fight until ZI, we will also wish for a break. Therefore, because of GOONS, after we have had enough, Wolf Empire will from then forth be disbanded until further notice. An alliance is two or more people. a formal agreement or treaty between two or more nations to cooperate for specific purposes.

Your allies disrespected us first, and if you notice, this thread was made before my first post against Wolfpack. Yes, this whole thread was just made to ridicule Wolfpack, indeed. (It could just be, you know, that we wanted everyone else's opinions, seeing as we are still a bit new at global politics. But your BS excuse works as well.)

And you can't read. No where in this thread was Wolf Empire mentioned. I haven't even brought it to the Wolfpack thread. Therefore, your statement is full of it.

no u Great deflection. Please explain why we deserved to be destroyed by GOONS. What cause was so great and mighty that our micro alliance should be destroyed? We did not overstep our boundaries. Every decision we made we asked Wolfpack about. Our ODP with PoPR? Permission given by cookiemonster himself. ES explaining to someone that Wolfpack protects us to avoid being destroyed? According to cookiemonster, our protection was not an MDoAP. Wolfpack had no obligation to protect us, apparently. None. (Even though the treaty said they did have an obligation to defend us.)

He was forced to leave for completely 100% OOC issues. Please, do some research before posting. lolwut? Cookiemonster told as that as long as we are fellow wolves, we would have protection multiple times. He himself and several other governing members told us that they did not care so much about us growing or tech dealing with them as much as having loyal and active members. We did everything we could to remain protected and thensome. If Wolfpack had a problem protecting us, maybe they should have contacted us about it first, instead of forcing our ex-leader to spend days begging to get the information from them. (We weren't even told the reason until the protection was almost expired, for crying out loud.) Wolfpack did very little to remain in contact with us. It was us, or at least ES, who did everything to contact them, waiting for hours, if not days, for Cookiemonster to login, since he himself was pretty damn inactive. Hell, he never even graced us with a response when ES messaged him (twice) about a raid a few weeks ago. Why were we doing all the work to remain in contact with Wolfpack? Shouldn't Wolfpack have done some work remaining in contact with us? Let's also go over the recent Justice protection. Why on Bob did Wolfpack do everything they could to protect Justice, yet we were dropped for not staying in communication (yea, right) and for "threatening other alliances with Wolfpack's name"? (Long story short, BEAzy threatened us in SE and TE over an issue he had in TE with ES, which ES then said "bring it" and then explained that we have a protector.) We were dropped like a hot potato over something so stupid, yet Wolfpack nearly went to war to protect Justice? I am sorry if we are a bit bitter, we just don't like being lied to and disprotected for reasons that could have easily been rectified.

Hasn't hurt anyone? A week after they canceled (for reasons that everyone in my alliance is still confused and outraged about), GOONS declares us open for tech raiding and actively planned their raid on us. But no, I guess it's not hurting anyone. Yes, GOONS declaring a tech raid on us was not an acceptable reason to temporarily leave. I would love to see what you would do in this situation.

Well, they did only tell Wolf Empire why they were dropping us two days after they canceled our treaty. Actually, according to our ex-leader, little was even said before they tried to "fix" the problems they had with us. edit: grammar fail

This isn't the first alliance they've dropped. It seems that Wolfpack is just dropping as many treaties as they can, imo.

Over the past few months, I have personally seen multiple alliances cancel treaties or sever ties with another alliance at the first sign of danger. My question is, is this really true friendship? Supposedly, among all these treaties are a bunch of friends just showing that they are truly friends, say !@#$ like "we r in da luv", and then a month later, they break apart. Is this friendship, or just political BS? Personally, I believe strongly that friends do not need treaties to defend each other, and that friends do not bail after their "friends" were attacked, etc.
