  1. Are you affiliated with James Bond's enemies at all?
  2. Interesting read, minus that picture from Tygaland. Are your other Issues on file somewhere?
  3. Does this service cost any money, or can you just sign up for free?
  4. I left messages with several moderators, and they seem to all be busy handling shenanigans, so I'll ask here. Which types of signature links are allowed, and which aren't? This is what I can gather from reviewing the forum rules and just looking around at different sigs: -Links to malicious code/software are prohibited. -Links to eBay auction sites are prohibited. -Links to third party sites (including YouTube, blogs, and offsite forums) are not forbidden by the rules. Is there a rule banning links to non-auction commercial sites? What criteria are used to designate certain sites commercial and others noncommercial? Thanks for any help/clarification.
  5. Was the NPO the last combatant in the big war? How do these terms stack up against terms given to other guilds? $10 billion seems like an awful lot...
  6. I just saw a "3 month topic" for a guild. I also notice that a lot of new guilds are declaring their existence. Would it be possible to compile similar statistics except for whole guilds instead of singular nations? I bet the percentage of guilds that delete is just as bad as the figure for nations within 6 months.
  7. Not to be rude, but don't other guilds have schools too? I'm still trying to understand what makes TIA unique. Is there a special manner in which you conduct your technology deals?
  8. I've read about technology trading a bit. That is the main goal of your guild? Do you sell to anyone in particular? Does it cost money to be a member of this technology selling association? I'm trying to see what makes it advantageous to be a member of Infinity as opposed to anywhere else. I know there are other alliances that encourage selling technology.
  9. I get that impression sometimes as well. Seems like people are out to get one another rather than have fun. I think there is another thread floating around where someone posted a bunch of recruiting messages and new player retention came up. People said the game mechanics are easy and don't make people stay. I don't quite understand a lot of it, but I think I'm getting there. The building part doesn't seem too fun; not sure about warring. Anyways, people said that it was the quality of the individual guild community that made people stay or quit. Not a lot of people join a guild right away though (me included). I was just plain confused with all of the different names and messages, and I wasn't all too sure what I was looking for. I even posted a topic asking some questions (which I don't think many people do) and that didn't help me. Since a lot of new people remain off on their own in the beginning, I think it's even more important for the game community as a whole to be welcoming. I think it's pretty good so far overall, but there is definitely some "meanspiritedness" out there. Edit: You also have to have to read A TON of wiki stuff and forum posts if you want to figure out what is going on with politics. I just finished reading most of the stuff on the Karma war after all this time. It's fun to be "in the know" but it's just such an obstacle to do so much self education.
  10. I like FOK's the best. It's simple and has that awesome looking lion. The lion is from some sports team right? I saw it on some guy's jersey one day. The IAA gets the silver medal IMO. It might be cooler with a little variety in color, but I like the Star Wars symbol placed inside the wreath.
  11. Don't quite know what this is all about, but it takes a big man to apologize. You are a big man.
  12. That's actually kind of depressing. Thanks for putting together the statistics though. I guess I'm going to have to try pretty hard to get past the 6 month benchmark and avoid becoming another statistic.
  13. I think I'm going to tough it out by myself for awhile until I get a better feel for this game. Thanks for all of the input.
  14. Is there an easy way to find out which guilds are governed by a democracy?
  15. Do guilds go by team color? I picked the blue team for my nation.
  16. I just made a nation this morning and I've already received a bunch of messages asking me to join people's guilds. How do you decide which one to join? What makes each alliance different? Judging by this forum it looks like there are a lot of them out there...
