As the new Prime Minister of UINE I find EgoFreaky and R&R an honorable person and alliance. I agree with the terms and we are working diligently to improve UINE and make her future brighter. R&R is, in fact, a very classy alliance and through some conversations with Ego, I have come to the conclusion that Ego is just doing his job in protecting his allies and protectorate after UINE raided. These terms are gracious because we were not forced into disbandment from a war both costly and destructive. I will not question R&R's intentions and if they should or shouldn't have banned Keve because we, UINE, accepted the terms and we have peace now. What is done is done and we are working swiftly to improve our image in Planet Bob. The terms have been lifted because we fulfilled them. What UINE did to begin with was wrong, R&R just gave us these terms as a means to an end. Ego mentioned that it was not in the best interest of UINE and that is obvious. Why the hell would the terms be in our best interest? It should be in R&R's best interest and of her protectorate. If they hurt us, they shouldn't care, if they help us, then wonderful. We are not R&R's friend, buddy, nor mate. We were their enemies and now we have ceased to be enemies with these terms and the lifting of them. o/UINE o/R&R May our future be friendlier. [/quote] In a way you are correct. We would not have needs for an election if Keve was still the emperor and everything was normal considering Lu was not emperor and could not make those changes. Now that this event happened and the peace terms forcing Keve out of power Lu had the ability to change what he wanted. Do I think that it was intentional? I don't think so. I don't think Lu wanted a war so that he could take control and shove in democratic reforms.

We lost more than 300k strength (for an alliance the size of UINE that's a lot. At one point we used to be more than 2mil strength and now we are a bit over 500k) and I lost more than half of my ns along with many other nations. So maybe it didn't matter for your alliance nor your nation but hey, looks like it mattered for us.

There have been many failed coup attempts against keve before. Keve has done many good things in the past. I do not doubt that. With keve we've seen our alliance go from hell and back along with reaching a 2mil milestone and record membership numbers. He was a great leader, he just made some fatal mistakes and these mistakes were too much in the end. Every leader has their end and I feel that this was his timing.

I do not doubt that R&R is a respectable alliance considering that peace terms have come along which to me are not harsh but on the contrary, rather reasonable. I will speak the truth and say that I myself was rather inactive throughout these months but I definitely would have done something to help but alas, it was not possible for me. I can not speak on behalf of the other government members but as me, Piratemonkey the Minister of Internal Affairs, I would like to apologize for the actions of our ex-leader Keve and for our governments actions, or in this case no action at all. I hope we can prove to you one day that we have changed. Obviously we have not completely changed yet, but are definitely on track. Best of luck in the future.

To make a short and sweet answer to all of you respectable men and/or women I would like to say that reps are now paid, keve is out of power, and a new charter has been written and elections are in progress. Playing the blame game won't help anyone anymore. What UINE did was wrong. I do not doubt that. We made a mistake here and yes we are the bad guys. Maybe this war was precedented. In my eyes these terms are far from harsh. You all have been saying that it is our responsibility over our Emperor but clearly the old charter did not allow much room to resolve anything without him. So yes we have a new charter which is a great thing. We will have a new leader, which is a great thing. But keep in mind that R&R didn't force anything down our throat minus the Keve ordeal. Yes, if that was warranted or not is questionable but as UINE was in need of peace we must have accepted terms for the good of UINE and also for the good of R&R. I hope R&R is happy with the terms being met and hope we can have more friendly relations in the future with our new government.
