1.
An all NPO Senate would be the way to go. If any alliance wants a seat they should grow in members or campaign for it. I have never received a single message from anyone other than a Pacifican regarding Red Senate voting. The others are too lazy to do any work so why should their Senator get a vote or a Senate seat? It's a nice gesture on your part Brehon/Pacifica...too nice.
Yes we are lazy, very lazy. We should just disband we are so lazy.
Schatt : Well, it kind of sounds like it does. "We didn't have tools. We didn't have programmers. We didn't have the manpower or infrastructure to send messages." The fact that you didn't, and NPO did, does sound a bit like laziness. And if your alliance can't be bothered to do the work, and can't generate enough votes to get a senate seat without NPO help, it's hard to see why you should get to decide who gets that third seat.
You're cute. See above and below.
The inability to do something is not the same as dereliction. CoJ has a list generator now, we'll be taking care of spam. Invicta doesn't have one, they won't be doing spam. Invicta isn't lazy and I don't fault them in the slightest.
We don't? We will gladly spam if need be and I think I have said that before.
We will continue to work amicably with NPO not because of any left-field threats or fear of ~The Return of The Moldavi Doctrine~ but because NPO is a partner on Red.
This. I'm not the biggest fan of NPO and Brehon (Sup sexy?) at the moment but I'm not going to not work with them because of that.
 2.
Damn Invicta, going and treatying tLR right after we parted. That makes me a sad panda. Oh and on the subject of the acronym, I believe the better alliance keeps the capped letter, not the off-shot of a former Republic formed by people with their panties twisted. Still, good to see Invicta pursuing it's own path. o/ and all that jazz.
TLR* And we have been treatied to them for a while, and they are one of the best alliances I know. Thanks
 3.
You might not necessarily be looking forward to it, but you certainly predicated it by stating "when we're are on the wrong side of a curbstomp". I didn't twist his words, I simply stated something he seemed to imply. I wasn't really far off. And except I didn't say dead for years, I said dead for a year. Something even you would proclaim:
Yes, but I didn't realize that until after it had been canceled. Before that I would of said the relationship was growing better every day, but when it was cancelled I saw the truth, it was never intended to be made better. Anyway I'll stop hashing out this stuff in this thread, good luck NPO o/
 4.
So now all of a sudden you're looking forward to our demise because we left Red Dawn and we cancelled a treaty that was basically dead a year ago? This seems like an unreasonable progression of hatred, but okay.
Nice way of twisting his words, and I still love the whole "dead for years" thing.
 5. Glad to see this posted o/ The Last Republic o/ Invicta
 6. Congrats to our allies in TPF and their friends in GATO o/
 7.
I had a very similar attitude before my tenure there. But I learned something: not everything is as it seems from the outside. I found out that the Legion runs the way it does because that's the way it works for them. They shun the constant maneuvering of power politics and focus on solid relationships. Just ask NpO or TLR or Invicta. They don't even show up on the OWF because they can't be bothered to engage in the PR smear campaigns thrown back and forth between the various camps. That they don't do anything interesting in your eyes is not their problem. They have a very active internal culture.
I have seen first hand that this is true, their internal culture is very distinct and frankly awesome. And yes they have worked towards building very solid relationships with TLRep and Invicta (I can't say anything about NpO cause I don't know, but I've seen it with TLRep and us) on the government and membership levels. This is why I personally would consider Legion one of our closest allies. A lot of alliances could learn from them about building relationships, but I won't point them out
 8. Congrats to our allies in NAC and friends in SNAFU o/ CaVi
 9.
Congrats NADC.
Best post of the thread
 10. Sad to see this happen. Best of luck to NADC and our allies in Legion o/
 11.
Congratulations on replacing the NPO, Invicta.
Thanks. They just couldn't resist not getting the corner embassy suite.
 12. Glad to see this posted o/ OCN o/ Invicta ADude
 13. I hit my laptop cause of your picture :P

 14.
Because we all know it. I'm onto you, Brephosis, supreme puppetmaster combination of planet Bob.
At least Invicta, or so I hear. Interesting announcement at an interesting time. Edit: Typo
 15.
Silly Nascar, don't you have some whining to do to a Pacifican member about how poorly you have been treated? Go run along now :pats Nascar on the head:
Didn't know I did, but since we are on that subject. Silly Brehon, don't you have some back channels to go spread lies about Invicta and me through? Go run along now.
 16.
Well Thrash ole boy, you have me on that one, at least up until it was posted, then those that didn't know were told of it A pox upon me my friend! o/
And by told, you mean telling them that "Life's a !@#$%*" correct? Edit: Oh sorry forgot the
 17.
Forget it
Thanks for the support Cora
Congratulations to our allies in Invicta! >:3
Thanks Bern
 18.
Invicta Leader 1: Acquire CSN, lose NPO. Check. Invicta Leader 2: Wait....$&#@ Invicta Leader 3: Is there an undo button? %$*#, now what? Invicta Leader 1: I don't know. Invicta Leader 2: WELL, FIND IT. Invicta Leader 3: Ask SOS Brigade, they are like the most awesome alliance in this game. Invicta Leader 1: They said they are too busy selling infra to earn extra cash. Invicta Leader 2: We are &$#*#*# then. Invicta Leader 3: We've always been $&#@*#. Invicta Leader 2: Good point.
Like we asked if there was an undo button.
 19.
We also agreed to "not forget the concerns laid down by each alliance" and "work towards correcting them". That didn't work out quite so much. Putting your differences behind you does not mean that they cease to exist. Differences like that are tangible things embedded in our respective policies. It means that you are making a clean break in an attempt to give it another chance. However, that "another chance" still needs to be successful in solving the fundamental divergence between the two alliances. If it doesn't succeed, you are still left holding to very different political paths.
Oddly enough we were able to put ours behind us or work them out. What concerns did you have that lead to the cancellation after the CSN treaty? You (you meaning Brehon/NPO) did not bring up a single thing regarding this treaty other than a "Go for it attitude." And I quote from the cancellation "With your PIAT I don't feel there is a way to stop information flow to SF" <- !@#$%^&* reason right here Thought you would of brought that up before now. Not say go for it, then a few days later "Hey we are cancelling because of it."
 20.
Simple facts: The NPO Invicta relationship has been suffering for some time. There are many things that have happened, many discussions, arguments. It was not recovering, we were not getting along. The only time we did is when we simply stopped talking.
Is very interesting to see what you call "facts." The "simple fact" was that NPO and Invicta agreed to put our differences behind us once and for all around the 8th of February this year. Immediately following this the relationship recovered a good bit, or well Invicta thought so. We thought we might of had a chance to work it out. Great to confirm some suspicions I had recently that you weren't ever going to let that happen.
 21.
I know for a fact that Brehon was waiting to talk with you about just that when we got word that members of other alliances had been told of the impending cancellation. I would invite you to ask the other members of your gov how word got out, but I suspect you already know.
Yes because we leaked it. That is why a member of MK told me that someone in NPO told them
 22.
So we're back to the brainwashed BR days then? I miss those. They were entertaining.
XD
How are we dictating anything? We don't agree with the path they want to take so we have split ways. Dictating would be threatening them in some way to do something we wanted.
I won't argue you. You are pretty much one of the only IO's I have always respected and liked. I will however say it would of been nice for NPO to say "We have some issues with this treaty, can we talk about?" We have come a long way since I $%&@ed up the SOS treaty.
