the war was fun while it lasted, well time to see how the duels go. Shout out to the people i fought in the war as well, hopefully we can do it again sometime.

I liked the other one better. Anyway, once again should be fun and all that.

lol, it was a bit of a surprise, but this should be fun /MCXA /TPC /everyone else who I may be forgetting.

mine was alright, mostly modest gains, but my Goalie went up 2 skill... but he doesn't look as good as his backup who only played one game last season... so I don't know what to do there... but it seems that most of my team got worse, not entirely sure though. ...just looking, my goalie did go from a 4 skill to a 6 skill... but he's only 6/8 while his backup is 4/17. which one is better? I'm not really sure how to read the ratings anyway.

I'd be interested in another league as well if there are still openings.

hm, Xpert 11's going pretty well for me, but then again I'm kind of concerned about if/when I get promoted. I mean, my team's doing great now, but really I'm wanting to keep the same team for as long as possible, and yet I know that if the team doesn't improve too much, I may not be as strong in later seasons, or at least when I move up. But I just hope that at the very least, that my goalkeeper gets a ton of improvement for next year

20,492 Attacking + 20,087 Defending = 40,579 eh, been around the top 100-200 nations most of the round, cracked top 100 at one point, but massive loss in NS kind of killed my chances of being in that race, lol

well, all the fans grumble a bit, but still are glad that the team managed to win more games at the end of the season, but at any rate changes would be made before the next season began... well, it's a terrible start, but next season will be better.

ah... well, with that investigation blamed against the Diplomats, the government has stepped in to make sure that if these allegations are true. If they are to be true, then the government vows to immediately imprison all guilty parties, and transfer the team to government based control, with possible execution depending on the severity of the offense.. alright, that sounds good, I think... don't know if I'd want the team to move up, or to be the best team not promoted... it's tough to know, but I'll wait for the season to play out and find out...

sigh, a terrible first year for the Diplomats, it seems that they have faded into obscurity, and the coach can only be heard to state, that they would simply have to work harder to stop being the worst team in the league next year. But in other news, it seems that the owners have been caught betting for the other team in the Diplomats. Charges will be filed, and as the team seems to not be able to get worse, we will just have to see if the team can recover, and make some revenue to pay their players or something... OOC:...if I had to guess, if these games were simmed from a recent Madden game... I suspect that the Diplomats will be terrible for years to come if they are the team I think they are. but it's all good, there's always next year, lol.

hm, that's excellent, while Debate Land's most current win doesn't get them any ground in the standings, it seems that a 3-1-0 record is pretty good for the start of the season. but a quick question, what do those separator lines mean within the individual divisions?

... Debate Land fans were seen screaming at many a television, as the team's most dominant outing in a while was destroyed, as the normally stoic defense failed to get the job done, and the team lost a game that should have been a victory

The Diplomats fanbase was heartened by their first victory, and while the playoffs were not out of reach just yet, it seemed that they were still wary about the chants for victory to ensure things would continue...

Things were quiet in the locker room after the team's first victory. They quickly keyed into the one game that would have made a difference, but with the game between Viniland and Adeptes Mechanicus ending in a tie, all hopes of a qualifying spot in the final 16 ended. Regardless of not qualifying for the cup, spirits were high as the team chatted with reporters. While they were dissapointed, they knew that they had the chance to compete for a higher placing in their final two games. Knowing that they were in the top 75% of the bracket, they seemed to celebrate the night away, enjoying the fact that they'd beaten a far superior opponet. Fans were satisfied with the team's 1-0-4 record to finish the preliminaries after 2 straight losses, and were sure that the team could pull out two more victories before their competition was complete.

OOC: probaly, I think we need to win, and get a positive goal difference to advance (kind of like the US in the confederation cup last summer). but either way, it's been cool. is it something like we have to win by 5 goals or more, Jutopia has to win by at least 2 goals, and Viniland vs Adeptes Mechanicus cannot end in a tie for Debate Land to move on though? Also...4 ties in a row O.o, it's better than 4 losses, but still... IC: Another Tie, seems to be the streak for Debate Land's team. It was kind of funny, but at the same time, most diehard fans were shaking their heads. After the 4th tie in a row, and their final game being against the second place team in the league, it would take a miracle for the team to do well enough to advance. Either way, the team was confident, hoping to be the spoilers of an otherwise undefeated prelim for their opponets. Going to the standings, it was clear on what the team needed to do to win, and many of the religous centers in the country were filled as the calculations came out... regardless of the other game, many bars and sports resturants had games keyed in to the 3 vital games in the prelim panel for the final days of the tournament... Viniland vs Adeptes Mechanicus Disparu vs Jutopia Land The Cheeselands vs Debate Land and many a prayer was said, noting the strange luck that was needed for Debate Land to advance...

Regardless of the !@#$hole our strikers and midfielders have dug us into, not scoring but 1 goal in 5 games. What madness is this! When I played soccer myself, teams with that kind of defense won championships, or at least had some resemblance of team unity. Meanwhile, I find sacks of crap, who can't score a goal to save their season. Look, we've got 2 games left. We win both, we may have a chance at getting to the last 16. but the fact of the matter is, that you strikers, midfielders need to pull your goddamn weight, we need goals, it's not that I don't think that you lot aren't trying- its that you aren't fighting enough. I swear on my honor as a man, that if we make that round of 16, I'll ensure that every man on this team, coaches, players, trainers, you name it will get a significan raise to their paychecks. But at any rate, we've got to score goals. The one time the defense screwed up was the only time you lot scored a goal. We can't afford that, and that is why we need your help. This team can get to places, but we need those wins and offense if we are to get to the cup at all." as the locker room got quiet, the reporters were seen typing or shouting into phones as loudly as possible, as the same conversation rippled through Debate Land's borders and in the mind of every citizen... could the offense get them anywhere close to the final 16 of the Transvaal Cup?

Debate Land fans aren't too concerned, the team has some points, and at the moment, a win springs them into the chase for a qualifying seed for the next round. at any rate, they were not as angry as usual, after seeing the defense play its normal, not allowing goals progress.

Debate Land's fans were pleased that the team did not lose another game. but still, more and more grumbles are heard about the offense being so poor in their entire existence in the cup. Though they did appreciate the tie and the points it earned.
