  1. I can live with the fallout of my choices, since it is over 4 years later. I do take offense at history letting Shamed, of all people, be right. My ego is a fragile thing.
  2. We are about 2 more NPO policy announcements away from Shamed having been right when he told me I would one day regret ever championing NPO to my allies.
  3. lol Echelon was a decent bunch of guys? They were grade-a idiots. Good riddance.
  4. Things that I find amusing in this thread : 1) GOONS being bullied...lol wow. 2) Political amateurs that still engage in hyperbole as if there are hearts and minds of undecideds to be won. 3) How ironic it is to watch NPO decay into everything that the friends I had in NPO tried so hard to steer away from. Not that there is anything wrong with it, it is just ironic. 4) 2 War threads involving highly connected alliances can barely clear 20 pages in 4-5 days. Boy this planet is... something.... 5) How thick the veil of hypocrisy in CN continues to grow. Carry on kiddos.
  5. About as long as it takes you all to realize you engage in all this bluster in defense of Junka. Say that to yourself REALLY slowly.
  6. Hoo serves, because I will it. Shuru serves because I will it. Gibs serves because I will it. Let not their tiny words cloud where the true bear claw resides.
  7. I blame everyone in the DK sphere for empowering this idiot.
  8. and so the question is answered....
  9. Those graphics are pretty awesome. 10/10 would reminisce again.
  10. Seriously Doch, you and I rarely agree on anything. But I genuinely like you. Kudos to you for saying what needed said. Maybe there is hope for Mi6. I doubt it, but maybe.
  11. This is a prime example of the game taking things for granted. Despite our limited contact over the years, sir, I want you to know, beyond the shadow of any doubt, that I appreciate all you ever did for this community. If the game had more you, it would have less blah. Enjoy your respite, you have earned it.
  12. This is far better than the dumpster fire you were in before.
  13. Let me begin by saying, anyone in the world with a pulse knows that I have ZERO love lost for Mi6. I would not piss on them if they were on fire. That being said, there are some real idiots in Oculus. Not for fighting this war, not for blowing Mi6 to smithereens, but for the sheer unbridled arrogance that so many people who never accomplished anything on Planet Bob, have displayed with their words throughout this fouled up abortion of a military action. So so many of you are bending and contorting what is left of your twitching bodies in an effort to either pat one another on the back for a job well done, or to engage in a circle jerk to celebrate your "victory." I know not which it is. Nor do I care. Let us be clear on one thing. It is EASY to win a game of chess when nobody is in the other chair. That so many nobodies throughout the annals of Planet Bob History now sit at the big kids table is not , in any way, shape or form, an accomplishment on even the most small level. Long ago the T-Rexes wiped out the Raptors. The falling corpse of the many Brontosaurus smashed the last of the Dilos. What 90% of you clowns in Oculus fail to realize as you all rush to one another to congratulate yourselves, is that you amount to nothing more than the last of the Dodo's walking along a decaying beach pecking at the last of the trilobites. You are nothing. You have accomplished nothing, you are capable of achieving no more than nothing. Your lone accomplishment is that you managed to care, longer than anyone else. Enjoy your... reign. King of all Dodos.
  14. I am guessing humility is not your strong suit. This whole OP reads "I went here, and I was awesome, I just liked to fight, and they did not understand me." You are not a bad sort of person, but you were always in dire need of attention, and even negative attention was enough to sate your need. At the end of the day, though, it is always sad when someone active leaves. However, I remain doubtful you will actually leave.
  15. ODN were great allies till I joined. Now they are crotchety old allies who have to find their teeth every morning.
  16. No. ODN is allied to STA, who is allied to TPF, who was pre-empted in what might be the dumbest pre-empt in CN history, since it served no real purpose other than eliminate the wait of a few days.
  17. If you were not annoyed, there would be no "You guys are pathetic for needing XXXXX NS to kill little old us" comments. Because, you and I, my friend, we have both been around the black. You know, and I know, that they do not NEED the numbers they are using, they are simply using them. The fact that your members so snidely refer to them "needing" the numbers in that ratio, is clearly indicative of some annoyance.
  18. If that previous war I mentioned felt competetive to you.... I have to question your recognition of facts. Is this DoW bordering on depravity? Yes. Does your alliance deserve every ounce of that depravity? Yes.
  19. This whole long ass reply, and not one mention of the philosophy of Ron White. There is a lesson to be learned in the Ron White quote. That you choose to ignore it, really says all that needs said about Mi6 membership.
  20. This is likely the move that will be the beginning of the end for Oculus. Seriously, whoever the Einsteins were that though this up, are complete amateurs who have suddenly found themselves in a position of relevance. Cannot believe NPO gov actually allowed this. It is probably a really good thing I am not in gov. My advice to the rest of ODN, if I run for office, it would be in your best interest not to vote for me.
  21. You are correct, I do not care. I did not care when Sparta got wrecked having allies on both sides, did not care when TIO had it happen, did not care when it happend to ANYONE. Because you have only yourself to blame for a fragmented FA. The "sides" of a war are clear for months in advance. ODN, I have very little doubt, made it VERY clear where they stood when the war began. If everyone decides to stand pat, knowing the conflicts, guess what... I DO NOT CARE.
  22. So bloody much hilarity in this thread. Stop with the "It takes XXXXX ns to fight our YYY NS, how pathetic" nonsense. You(Mi6) once helped set, and cheered on a war that began with Fark, TOP and NpO DoWing on NSO. If memory serves me correct, 2 of those 3 were sanctioned alliances, 1 was just off sanction, and NSO was 25-30ish. It was PROBABLY in the neighborhood of 30 million on 4 million, or maybe more, or hell, maybe less, but the point is, it was many many many times more than what was needed. The only difference is , NSO had friends to whittle down that ratio, even if just a little bit. Mi6, well, you have no friends. You then joined in, and DoW'ed alongside NpO, Sparta, Legion, Valhalla, GOONS, then later CCC for shits and giggle on NPO. You didnt say "wow, we have about 5 or 6 x their NS, we should be embarrassed it takes so much." Fortunately, NPO had friends to help reduce that ratio a little. Mi6, oh yeah, you have no friends. You then plodded merrily along as the coalition, that you were an integral part of arranged such even matchups as Umbrella, VE, LOSS, Mortal Wombat, DoD, UPN, MHA on NG. Fortunately, NG had some friends to decrease that ratio just a bit. In case you missed it, Mi6 has no friends. As time went on, you then cheered and lol'd your way along as the coalition that was going to springboard Mi6 from kingmakers to kings (LMAO), arranged many more even square offs such as TOP, GO, Umbrella, NpO, Sparta, Fark, MHA on NATO. Fortunately though, NATO had a few friends to at least lighten some of that load. Mi6, as you may have figured out by now, has no friends. The butt hurt over the NS is not about a sense of right, wrong, or overkill, it is a frustration post, from a group who has nobody to lighten their load. Rather than focus on why that is, they choose to play the victim card. Life on Planet Bob is hard, when you have no friends. I read a book once, about a place called the United States of America, on a planet called Earth, in a galaxy far, far, away. In this book, there was a great philosopher named Ron White. You see, Ron was once getting drunk in an establishment that serves alcoholic beverages, and got into a spot of trouble with a group of 11 or 12 other guys. It was this encounter that produced an amazing quote of wisdom. You see, he didnt complain, he acknowledged his mistake. "I didn't know how many of them it would take to kick my ass, but I knew how many they were going to use."
