Capital Chosen Today, Furher Chaplin has chosen Tomania City, the most beautiful city in the Reich as well as a great center for learning. It is at the exact center of the Eastern Reich and all roads throughout the State lead to it. Here information and ideas meet from all corners of the Reich, and has alowed the city to produce some of the greatest intellectual minds in the Reich and arguably, Planet Bob. Eastern Reich Space Programme The Great Dictator announced today the creation of an Eastern Reich Space Programme because, "Bob Schtonk." This new endevour will bring the victories of Fascism to a new realm, the realm of space. The goal of the space program is to eventually create easy access for E.R. citizens to access a future space ship that would orbit over the Eastern Reich. Furher Chaplin beleives this space resort/hotel/cassino will eventually pay for itself. Also, exploration into the unknown will be the second goal of the E.R. Space Programme, and citizens will be given live feed from space once the first rocket launches and begins its rounds around the planet. The stage has been set (literally) for Chaplin to make his announcements public. With global war avoided...for now, Furher Chaplin is left to focus on matters within the State. Charlie agrees, after much pleading, that "boring policies" for roadwork, forest restoaration, and the like will be put into effect. But Charlie has plans for something much bigger. In his planning room, Charlie has just finished putting on an authentic military uniform, given to him as a gift from the party. Then former Vice President Hanson enters. Hanson-"Excuse me, Furher, I was oping to get your singature on this for the roawork to begin." ___________________________ Chaplin- "Why of course. (rolls eyes) Let me sign." He signs the form then returns it to Hanson who looks over it for a full minute. Hanson- "Who...who is Charlie Chaplin?" Chaplin- "Hmmm, well lets retrace our steps. Chaplin- "(Gasp) You did it. Now if you'll make yourself useful and help me find my cap, that would be greatly appr..." Hanson- "You're not the General!" Chaplin and Hanson stare at eachother for a moment, then without warning Chaplin slaps Hanson. A longer pause of awkward silence ensues. Hanson-"W...Why?" Chaplin-"(slaps Hanson again) How dare you doubt your Furher! You useless idiot! I should have you flogged for your stupidity!" (slaps Hanson a third time, this time with his right hand) I was always destined to take command of this land. Do you dare question my destiny? I should slap you for you ignorance!" (Chaplin raises his hand threateningly to Hanson who flinches violently) You're a good man Hanson. (now straightening Hanson's suit) Now I want 5 laps around this building in 10 minutes or I'll be done with you. Hanson- "Done with me?!" Chaplin- "Done with you." Hanson plays back through his mind what just happened. Hanson- "Y-yes Furher, please forgive me for my stupidity." Hanson rushes out of the room.

Eastern Reich Submarine Fleet Today, the Navy of the Eastern Reich has unveiled the completion of a high level project for nuclear subs to add to the Naval arsenal of the Reich. The Nuclear sub fleet of 13 is extremely undetectable, with built-in Top Secret silencing, and microphone technology, and advanced sonar systems capable of detecting the exact class of ships, or subs simply by sound. The subs independantly patrol the waters of the Eastern Reich on 165 day patrols, needing to stop only really to restock on supplies for the crew, as it may be refueled only once every twelve years. The subs are armed with 16 MK-48 ADCAP torpedoes. Which can operate with or without wire guidance and can use active and/or passive homing. They are said to be able to sink any ship of submarine, finding their way under the hull and detonating just under it. Onced fired they execute programmed target search, acquisition and attack procedures, even conducting multiple reattacks if they miss the target. An undisclosed number of these subs are catagorized as E.R.S. Ballistic Class, armed with intercontinental balistic missiles capable of a speed of 20,000 feet per second, a reach 4,000 nautical miles or 4,600 statute miles , and weight of 65 tons. Launching 10 independantly targeted nuclear warheads. Nuclear subs can hold 1 ballistic missile each. All subs of the Eastern Reich Sub fleet are fitted with a reinforced bridge, capable of breaking through several feet of ice. The Arctic ice has been found as a good place for the fleet to hide, as any noise is masked by the shifting ice. The fast and stealthy attack subs from the fleet now accompany the Navy's carriers. 10 subs are also capable of carrying out commando missions, carrying teams of commandos to take enemy ships with precision, or launch a small invasion of enemy land. All subs come complete with a full life support system for the crew, as the nuclear reactors pull oxygen and drinking water from the ocean, and food for 4.5 month trips is prepared. 8 Nuclear subs now begin military excersizes in the Arctic. As a defensive measure all subs are fitted with sounds emitters used to pull the attention of incoming torpidos away from the actual sub.

Eastern Reich Naval ships meet up with the Japanese Imperial Navy as they begin preparations for the naval war-games. Cargos ships dock in Japanese ports unloading their cargo and personnel. The troops land, unload, and transport the cargo to positions specified by the Japanese. Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs Minister Ruklo Maetske arrives by plane to meet with Japanese Imperial officials.

The fleet is now arriving in Japanese Imperial waters. Cargo ships await accees into Japanese Imperial ports to unload their supplies and ammunition. The Eastern Reich navy has dispatched 7 Carriers, 5 Cruisers, and 9 Battleships to Japanese Waters with full and ready weaponry. The Cargo ships carry ammunistion and supplies, which most is to be used for the construction of the Japanese Empire's nuclear program. 35 aircraft altogether come atop the carriers, and 300000 troops to continue military games on land as well as to unload and prepare the cargo shipments. Eastern Reich scientists and engineers, as well as a team of military commanders also come along.

We accept the Japanese Empire's invitation. 21 Naval vessels are en route to Japanese Empire waters, accompanied by several cargo ships carrying ammunition and supplies.

OOC: This is agreeable. I like most of your RPs, but I'm glad to see this particularly strange one change for the better. I'll edit my post.

Official Statement of the Eastern Reich "We are now under attack by what is beleived to be a state sponsered group of rebels within the Helzan. If the Helzan cannot control these rebels, who are supposedly acting apart from the government, then we will remove them. The Helzan is given 48 hours to surpress these attacks against our nation, and the internaitonal community is called apon to act on the issue as well." Meanwhile, the Helzan missiles begin to hit cities in the Eastern Reich. Hundreds of civilians tune in as updates are sent out rapidly. The danger was never real, the missiles did not have the range and simply fell into the ocean before reaching the borders of the Eastern Reich. The scare does not change the defensive policy of the Reich , however and calm returns to the rebuilding region.

OOC: thats clear now. Also this seems like a personal vendetta. IC: The launch of several cruise missiles from the Helzan have been detected heading for the Eastern Reich just as the nation is in defensive preparations. The news is rapidly released to the public, and worldwide.

OOC: Easy, the Tzar failed to protect them. So they created their own leadership to protect themselves from any future disasters and/or invasions.

Infrastructural Acheivments New roads now give the population of the Eastern Reich easier access to all corners of the nation. The damage dealt to their reagion during the past war is in quick, but careful restoration. Millions have been employed to reconstruct their lands, having Norldanders and Slavs, Germans and Russians working side by side to rebuild the nation in a cooperative mix. A renewed sense of pride rises, just as brocken monuments and fallen buildings are rising. Together a new culture is arrising, creating a strong, peaceful union. Heavy funding is being poured into reconstruction, with new housing, and work towards self-sustainability receiving the most attention. Basic needs, like clothing, food, and housing is cheaper than ever before seen in the region. The government plans the majority of the population of the Eastern Reich will eventually have automobiles, and no citizen will be allowed to live on the streets.

OOC: You cannot say Justinian is allowed to have jurisdiction over a land he no longer controls. We have not replaced any culture, we have risen from those that were already in place.

Nuclear Silos Readied All nuclear and non-nuclear missile silos within the Eastern Reich have been readied for a possible first-strike by aggressive nations. Targets are selected, hundreds of digital war-game scinarios are played out and the most successful are narrowed down to th best. All areas of the miitary are on highest alert, while the population is told to stock up on non parishable food supplies, and water. Deep shelters are being rapidly built to hold as much of the population as possible. The airforce begins heavy patrols, while much of the navy travels deep into friendly waters in all directions. The Eastern Reich readies for a defensive war.
