Good luck to all of you in this endeavor...you're going to need it! I first heard about this last night when NoR approached me asking for my blessing on this new TGE. My initial response was "if anyone can do it, NoR can". But after looking at things in the light of day and having seen the gov lineup (Heinrich Schuster? Really?), I fear NoR may have bitten off more than they can chew. I hope they prove me wrong.

Easy enough to look up, though from the look of your DoE prep it is not beyond the realm of imagination that you neglected to do your homework. I'm not so naive as to believe that your words "If [b]you are still active[/b], and if you [b]are non aligned[/b]" were not strategically placed to save your ass should you get caught. Also, I have spoken to some of the actual remaining members of the TGE AA and they do not support this, nor were they told in advance. I do not have a problem with The German Empire. I have a problem with half-wit noobs running about thinking they can pull one over on the rest of us. And I assure you, my threats are not veiled. If you could see to it to grow yourself beyond pissant size, you'll see that I do mean business.

Turnabout is fair play, I suppose. I was personally tasked, as MoFA of TGE, with threatening NoR with disbandment should they keep Martens in their ranks when NoR reformed. I'm still working on it...Be afraid NoR, be very afraid.

However their plan included an actual alliance, complete with legitimate protectorate agreement.

I'm fairly certain that the 4 remaining members of the original TGE AA have nothing to do with this noob and had no prior knowledge that he was going to DoE. So basically, some of you are attacking those 4 members for harboring a ghost on their own AA? Not that I've a problem with tech raiding, but we might as well call it what it is. TGE was my first home here on Bob. You don't think I came up with this awful name on my own, do you? She's always held a special place in my heart (though sometimes it was more "special" than special). These past couple of years, since leaving to form RoA, have been like watching my long faithful German Shepherd grow crippled with old age. The arthritis was the first cruel trick. Then came the hair loss, seizures and lack of bowel control. It's a sad day when you have to say goodbye but you know it's for the best. Best of luck to her members in finding new paths. And let it be known that there is life after The German Empire...albeit a cruelly named and paranoid life. Let me know if you need help with deprogramming. We have an excellent department here.

What really bothers me is that they were asked by their allies to come in on a front where they weren't needed. How could INT do so in good conscience knowing the situation that TGE is in? Let me just state that the terms were discussed for as long as they were due to other coalition members' complaints about the re-entry issue. Had this been brought to our attention, I am sure a compromise could have been reached. CD never approached us about this. The first I heard of their displeasure was in this very thread.
