The closed door meeting had been dragging on for nearly 5 hours as delegates from the 4 Administration Zones had worked to hammer out a development plan in the event that the Independence Referendum was to pass, as was expected. Finally the fax beeped and all eyes turned to the Honored President of the soon to be nation, Melscho, as he retrieved the voting results. Melscho smiled as he read the results, "The referendum has passed with 96.8% in favor and 100% of the vote counted. The referendum had been expected to pas for months before he rose to the top job, so this was no honorary position to be scoffed at. And so his respect for Muunokhoi would surprise nobody but more importantly, at least to him, they were of the same clan. The were blood, ken, family that alone was plenty to establish an unbreakable bond for both of them.

"Of coarse, Delegate," Melscho rested the urge to bow, reminding himself that it would be most inappropriate.
