1.
The fact that you consider 'poaching' to be a CB(as well as the spying which is entirely understandable) suggests to me that you're afraid they'll actually succeed in convincing your members to leave. Which speaks volumes about how interesting your alliance must be if you're wiling to go to war over it to try and retain your membership. Also any member which does decide to leave as a result of the poachers probably wasn't worth having around anyway if a few sugary PMs are all it takes to get them to quit. If anything NsO are doing you a favour by taking the fickle out and leaving the loyal.
We're not doing this to get the poached member back. We're doing this to demonstrate that actions have consequences.
 2.
If I say yes will you attack me? meh, I'll take that chance! Yes. We did.
You're just making us more glad to not be allied to your heap of an alliance anymore.
Hang on now, you guys told us why you started this war. Because of "Attempted Spying" and poaching. Are you telling us this is not the case? How long will it take before we find out the real reason for this war?
That is why we declared war. That is something different to "what we seek to get out of this war".
 3.
Poor Shadow. No one ever talks about him. It's always "delta delta delta" If I wasn't trying to kill him, I'd actually feel sorry for the bloke.
Yes, I think we should all take a moment to pay our respects to poor old Shadow.
 4.
Looks like it's time for me to step in. I am one of the "poached" (perhaps)
No, you're not.
 5.
Delta is a solid ally and is very trusting if SOS said they had a rock solid CB RIA would offer support with very little questioning. Once the support is given Delta would never publically pull it but im betting someone is getting an ear full in back channels.
Delta and the rest of RIA government were made fully aware of the nature and content of our CB.
 6.
Well, it doesn't make it any easier to understand when your grammar is atrocious and you misspell every other word. Still, you don't think that SOS might have spoken to their ally in private, rather than over the OWF?
RIA was extensively consulted in private before this resulted in war.
If this what you call thinking I'm pretty afraid of what "not thinking" is.
Lavo, do us all a favor and stop pretending that your posts are motivated by something other than spite.
 7.
You're assuming SOS thought this through at all. That's a fatal flaw right there.
You're assuming we haven't. We have. Thoroughly.
 8.
Nah bro. People just like us.
I have no idea why, really.
 9.
My God, Tetris, I think I just fell in love with you. That is quite possibly the best alliance announcement in history.
Politically convenient statement or affirmation of true nature... I wonder.
 10.
Those mitigating circumstances being that SLCB would have mopped the floor with your sorry lot. Listen cupcake, if you think I am impressed by your ability to say nothing in so many words, you're wrong. As this discussion goes on you seem to be more empty and more ridiculous with your claims and justifications.
We were not ourselves unduly worried about SLCB having a military advantage.
The reason you are acting on this "CB" is because you think you can get away with it, and you think that NsO's allies will reconsider defending it due to RIA's endorsement of your fun. I can only imagine how this will end up for you.
Again, not at all. We were fully willing to prosecute this war on our own with no outside support. However, we have allies who agree with our justification and who are making that known.
 11.
Hey wait. Back before the NsO was formed, Tetris poached like 15 members from SOS. Where's the DoW on us???
You were allied to us at the time and we were happy to see our departing members join an ally before joining someone who hated us. That was of course before we found out the full extent of what was going on.
 12.
So SOS doesn't like to be a punching bag? Would you care to explain to me then why you let SCLB push you around and then not do anything about it? I mean surely nations attacking yours were a much greater offense. Yet you readily attack NsO for the grievous offense of poaching. I believe it would be more appropriate to say that SOS will defend itself only against smaller and less connected alliances.
There are a very good set of reasons for that situation. Suffice it to say the SOS Brigade had every intention of defending itself there, even if it had to go in alone... however there were mitigating circumstances which prevented us from doing so and as a favor to some other people, we did not prosecute it.
 13.
So during this entire active, malicious campaign against SOS from NsO you never thought to yourself "Hey let's go to IAA, maybe they can help solve this and put a leash on NsO" ?
We did that last time NsO poked at us. IAA demonstrated neither the ability, nor the willingness to do anything about it and we ended up getting accused by NsO of "trying to get their allies to drop them". Go figure.
It is ironic that NsO would say the same thing about their relations with the SOS Brigade.
I disagree, it's not ironic at all. It's typical of Elrich von Richt. Ask him if he's tried to re-register on our forums after we banned his first account and made it clear he was unwelcome there. They are the ones who refuse to let the issue die. The SOS Brigade has always and is still now willing to end the entire issue and have a state where the SOS Brigade and the New Sakura Order have nothing to do with each other.
If you look back, every incident brought to the Court of Public Opinion here between the SOS Brigade and NsO has been by the SOS Brigade. In each case it was demonstrated by third parties to be a minor issue that the SOS Brigade was blowing out of proportion simply to try to come up with justification to hit NsO. If you had to bury the issue it was because you did not first use private channels, as eventually they were used to end it, and you were making a mountain of a molehill and were called on it. You should not blame others for your mistakes in diplomatic judgement.
We've agreed to bury the issue and ignore our aggressors many, many times more than you'll ever know, either for the sake of our allies or because nobody believed us. No more.
Speaking of diplomatic judgement I would further point out the SOS Brigade is even the alliance that cancelled their MDP treaty with Tetris...over an Intelligence clause that. did. not. exist. in their current treaty. Did you even look at it first, or did you think everyone would just take your word that it existed and not call you out on it? As did you think everyone would just take your word about this additional proof and evidence you speak of and not ask for it?
We didn't cancel it. Tetris initiated the cancellation clause.
Some 7 random lines of unattributed text without any context does not really prove anything. Nor is there any talk of Poaching in there. There is talk of recruiting, but there is a large difference between Recruiting and Poaching.
When you publicly declare an intent to specifically recruit members of another alliance, that's poaching.
Or no alliance would gain any membership. Unless you are trying to claim that no SOS member has the right to initiate talks with another alliance about moving. And the fact that your member lied to you about why he/she was moving says more about how much they trusted you than NsO gaining another member.
Oh it was a rubbish member, no doubt about that. However, the point is that NsO committed an act of war against the SOS Brigade by maliciously attempting to weaken the SOS Brigade (through poaching).
And spying? Seriously? Based off of something that happened before the member even left the SOS Brigade? Really? I can see why you wanted to keep this secret indeed.
The person who had attempted to spy on the SOS Brigade continued activity towards gaining full membership in the SOS Brigade after that member had left the SOS Brigade.
I had thought when I saw this that the SOS Brigade had actual proof of government involvement in this. That NsO had actually overstepped themselves. Instead I am treated to yet another smoke and mirror show of Locke trying to take tiny, disparate issues, and connect them into some giant conspiracy. Instead I get to see yet another attempt by the SOS Brigade to twist others words and actions and blame NsO for it. Where in each case the SOS Brigade simply takes the most convenient answer to them and ignores all other possibilities as if they cannot and do not exist.
The NsO has repeatedly provoked and committed acts of war against the SOS Brigade. Perhaps none of them are in your estimation sufficient to cause a war... but together they form a history of aggression that must end.
You reap what you sow. If you were doing things right, then none of this would be happening to you. Each time you come here with an issue that was created, in no small part because of your actions to your membership, and play the victim. Even here there is only so many times you can cry wolf before others start to catch on.
Prove to me where my actions have directly and solely caused any of NsO's aggressions towards the SOS Brigade. You'll find it's quite impossible.
 14.
Going to war over poaching? Ooohhh.... How retro! I had no idea SOS Brigade was so sensitive. "Oh, but they said publicly they were trying to take our members?" To this I must answer with a resounding, "So what?"
I'm pretty sure you would deal with an active, malicious campaign against your alliance from one that hates you and everything you stand for. The point is, you (and most of the people in here) don't have all the facts, are blinded by unjustified bias bordering on the crippling or both, so whatever we say and however justified we are, nothing will satisfy the peanut gallery. We expected it, to be quite honest. Do continue.
Let's not rehash this again because you know you are not right. If you repeat a lie over and over again, it doesn't suddenly become the truth.
You even admitted that I gave you the two weeks' warning in a previous instance of this discussion (you brought up the post I made). Get out.
 15.
The fact you were still acting as triumvir of iFOK at the time doesnt make this practice fishy in any way you say?
Not when I told iFOK two weeks in advance of the alliance's creation and resigned my position as Triumvir, no. If the 'open floor' in question was iFOK's, you'd have an argument... unfortunately for you, it wasn't, it was another open floor that actually belonged to me. That is wildly different to someone in government of an alliance saying "Hey guys and girls, I'm going to make an active effort to talk members X and Y of alliance Z that I hate into joining us", just to spite alliance Z.
 16.
Not attempting decent diplomacy doesnt equal no-CB (I couldn't care less about CB's). Furthermore I find a poaching excuse coming from SOS very hilarious.
Saying "Who wants to join the SOS Brigade?" to an open floor doesn't equate to poaching and you know it. By that logic, every Alliance Recruitment thread is an attempt to poach from every alliance that has members around here.
 17.
I'll concede that can occur and it is well within your right to seek a resolution to it by these means. But again I also feel it invites far too much risk and I wouldn't have personally pressed my feelings through the end of a sword as the consequences of losing wars these days are pretty dire. Enjoy it I suppose.
Considering the amount of diplomatic patience we have displayed with the New Sakura Order in previous incidents, only to be told to '$%&@ off' and then bury the issue for the sake of peace... we've done our fair share of waiting. It is our time to stand up for ourselves and we have chosen to do so, rather than continue to be the punching bag at the whim of madmen.
 18.
This war has terrible timing. That said, poaching occurs frequently in CN so I find it hilarious you'd risk so much over it but I digress.
There is a distinct difference between poaching and "maliciously poaching with the intent to spite or weaken a hated enemy". The former indeed happens frequently and is usually done without malice. The latter is fully capable of being the straw that breaks the camel's back.
 19.
I always considered poaching a pretty weak CB tbh. After all, it is in the right of every single individual to choose his alliance. If you cant keep your members happy, it's your own fault. It's not like they are forced to join another alliance.
It's a little different when government members of said alliance specifically state their intent in public channels to do so to maliciously weaken someone they hate. In addition, the member in question's "excuse" for leaving is brought into suspicion when they do the exact thing (buy nukes) that they left because they didn't want to do.
 20.
Not sure what you were trying to imply here. You obviously are aware of my lack of warchest. Yet still I managed to rogue on you for a week, fight 4 other nations during said week. Then return to iFOK and participate in the war as it broke out. What I however am implying to Invicta is.. Put your money where your mouth is. A treaty is a treaty.
Our treaty with Invicta is an ODAP, not an MDoAP and Invicta has been fighting their own battle recently (and are still paying reparations).
 21.
What's this, Überanime feelings? Gosh, where did you claim the sole rights of starting up a cosplayer alliance?
No, I mean by definition of their theme. Their theme is "sakura", ie. cherry blossoms, which invokes images of sitting under the cherry trees, drinking sake... which is a Japanese theme, not an exclusively anime one. There is a difference here.
 22.
That signature you have, does it relate to Sakura the current applicant flying our AA?
We have no beef with Sakura of Kurayami. It is unfortunate that this joke bears a remarkably similar name to the Lady of Kurayami.
 23.
Play Minecraft
There are better ways to play with primitive construction bricks. We might even get the chance soon, if what Hereno's implying comes to pass.
 24.
If I were you I would stop digging.
But I'm mining gold!
 25.
You had reason to believe that IAA would tell their protectorate that someone was claiming to have a CB on them? Wow, you have marvelous intuition. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. You go to IAA. IAA tells NsO. NsO runs to peace mode. You know what? At THAT point, you have them right where you want them(assuming you can provide a solid CB), because nobody WANTS to stay in PM forever. They would be forced to negotiate their punishment(if they are guilty) to get out of peace mode. You know what that is? That is diplomacy. And you, sir, make absolutely ZERO sense.
You fail to understand our opponent here. We do, because they were us. Edit: You also missed the second part of my post entirely. Good job.
