  1. This thread continues to be amusing. It's dropping my IQ rapidly, but it's amusing nonetheless.
  2. Communication was atrocious in the EQ coalition, between the Skype calls, far too many chans for different purposes, etc.
  3. And this very specifically is why R&R got the better end of this deal.
  4. I already miss Bambi. Garion, you've got some big shoes to fill! :)
  5. As has been mentioned, anyone surprised by this is doing it wrong. Although I do miss the ampersand. :(
  6. My God, what have you done? You put Rush back into a position of almost power! I'm gonna miss Mandy and Wyrmon (though I didn't get many chances to talk to the latter), but congrats to the new gov, and I look forward to working with you.
  7. Nice line-up there, Farkers. Plus to make it even better, I'm drunk enough right now to find it amusing! (no, but really, I chuckled at the announcement. You can blame my love for old-school, Bob Barker-led Price is Right for that)
  8. Thanks for heading this up, bros. New Pacific Order - Farrin Xies - I'm legit
  9. Imperial Notice of Protection Henceforth, the New Pacific Order will be protecting the Oceania AA for the next thirty days, or until the AA is evacuated; whichever comes first. Any attacks on the AA will be considered tantamount to an act of war against Pacifica herself. Farrin Xies, Emperor of the New Pacific Order Red, Imperial Regent of the New Pacific Order Jrenster, Imperial Officer of Foreign Affairs of the New Pacific Order Lord Valleo, Imperial Officer of Foreign Affairs of the New Pacific Order
  10. o/ Love me some Non Grata. Congrats on two years, and let's make sure to cause a ruckus in year three together.
  11. Can't be too careful; let's disband CN.
  12. That's some fine allies you've got there now, LPH.
  13. Pansy is without a doubt a legend in this game. We are lesser as a community for not having him in it.
  14. Regarding Ai... what in the hell are you talking about?
  15. Even with this cancellation, I still like IRON. You can disagree and still like someone. Also, thank God we've got someone on whose shoulder we can cry. :P
  16. You're cute, kid. I'm definitely shaking in my boots right now.
  17. I'm sorry, Ai knew what would happen if they jumped the gun with YOU?! You, along with us and others, were fighting FOR Ai here.
  18. Oh wow, not even sure where to start. Do you not think if we could have waved a magic wand and not had our friends and allies in CnG or NG on the other side, you really think we wouldn't have taken that in a heartbeat? CnG told us they felt responsible for enabling the actions on DH's part we were waging war against, and thus should share in some of the repercussions for that. I don't completely agree with that, but I sure as hell respect it. My respect for many of my allies on the opposite side of the coalition rose by leaps and bounds just as my respect for many people (though not our allies) on "our" side in EQ dropped. As for harming our allies the second time you mentioned, I'd say that's between me and my allies. Everything Brehon did in this last war was for Ai first, our other allies second, and the coalition third. Continuing the war as many of you wanted would have done nothing but hurt Ai, NPO, and the tiny number of other alliances willing to send out even one or two more people into the extended war. As far as continuing the war in general, we were rapidly approaching the point where the damage we were doing to them was less than the damage they were doing back to us. At that point in time, you take your victory and go home. It could have been done differently, and I likely would have done it differently. With that said, I'm satisfied with the outcome it achieved.
  19. My apologies, Goldie, wasn't sure what you meant there :)
  20. ...please tell me you're not saying we held up peace talks? You do understand left to the devices of some in the EQ Coalition we'd likely still be at war, right? If NPO and Ai hadn't set their foot down? For that matter, literally the last sigs affixed to the peace document were IRON's because of the trouble finding IRON gov to pass the information on to.
  21. Good luck moving forward, IRON. IRON's membership deserves a huge amount of credit for fighting, and fighting hard. And I find it amusing to hear that we weren't communicating with the rest of the coalition, when we were communicating on a daily basis with all the major players [ooc]on Skype, on IRC, and on the war boards which, coincidentally, we hosted.[/ooc]. As someone whose task was to be in regular communication with many of the rest of the coalition, I can tell you you couldn't be more wrong and need to go back under your bridge. [ooc]The "secret terms" were only secret because Brehon had the logs, I didn't. When I was asked for them, I told y'all to wait for Brehon to come back. What happened as soon as he came back that night? You got the damned terms. Stop rehashing old conspiracy theories, they make you look even more ridiculous.[/ooc]
