Good to see you joining the fight USN. Thank you for reaffirming why our treaty was signed to begin with
-
See I don't get it.
You mean if we talked pretty to you, this war wouldn't have happened?
Then you wouldn't really be trying to correct the behavior you dislike.
Not necessarily, war might still have been an option had no agreement been reached. But it's hard to work out a diplomatic solution when you are met in the manner my Emperor was.
-
You didn't cancel that treaty. Just threatened to it seems.
Our leadership approached them with the issue and, after being met with class and professionalism rather than vulgarity, were able to reach an agreement through diplomacy that was acceptable to all parties. Funny how that sort thing works out.
-
Welcome to the war, PC.
-
And that is one thing we can agree on.
But seriously though, you guys need to actually attack.
I would oblige if I could, but alas I'm too busy screwing up staggers in the 30k range
-
It isn't a bad thing, really. At this point it's just fighting over the moral high ground that's pissing people off... I just want a war.
Agreed. I don't much care for all the pissing and moaning going on around here. Forget about the moralist mumbo-jumbo and have fun fighting an alliance you clearly dislike, please.
-
First off, I'm not in PC. Secondly, it was a rhetorical question. You didn't declare on PC because you're terrified of Umbrella and FoB coming in and ruining your carefully guarded pixels.
If those alliances want to come along for the ride when PC declares, I fully welcome it. [OOC] I'd rather hug casualty pixels than infra any day.[/OOC]

Vox vs. NPO?

Will you continue your trend of bullying smaller and/or politically weaker alliances while hiding behind Frostbite like cowards? Or have you realised that not even Frostbite will stop you from getting rolled if you persist with your present course of actions?
What exactly is that present course of action? I see you complain a lot about us, but it's always in a sort of "you guys just suck" sort of way.. I'm curious as to what, in specific, causes you to think we're such a bad alliance?

How does NSO feel about trouts?
What does NSO think about Shakira and her hips?
I respect them for their reputation of being exceptionally truthful.
-
One last time, I'll hail my adversaries in the TPF. The valor you fought with will not be forgotten.
-
So no wars this time?
Or perhaps only real ones?

So can I assume that "the revolution" is a just a vague talking point with a hazy definition and no real application outside of acting as a rallying point? I don't think it's that, but for some reason I can't get those "in the know" to open up and spill the beans.
Remember when NPO was at the top of the game, and whenever they were challenged verbally they almost instantly responded with some variation of "do something about it"? This is the first place I clearly saw the ideals of the Revolution. The Revolution, as far as I understand it, in a way does have a hazy definition. There is no ultimate goal, no grand design other than one that the Revolutionaries might create for themselves. The Revolution is the embodiment of "doing something about it"- it is the act of entering uncharted territory, of refusing mediocrity, of forging one's own path that one might become greater and do greater things than those content to sit idle. "Do something about it" is not to be seen as a mere taunt (although I'm sure it has been used as such), it is a call to everyone, friend and foe, to join the Revolution, to fight and struggle and become greater than the were before.
Note- I would not be one of those who are "in the know" if you haven't already guessed. I've no authority on the subject, really, I'm fairly confident in this description.

After reading about STA having many members in Minnesota [OOC: I just moved to Minnesota. OOC] I have to ask. Is it safe for TPFers to go outside at night in Minnesota?
Don't worry, I kinda like you guys. I'll protect you from the big bad tigers
-
Congrats to my friends in the Imperium on the treaty. Glad to see you guys are making your way on Planet Bob.

This is the finest sense of humor shown between 2 alliances I have seen in some time.
RAD: knock knock (expecting a "whose there" response)
NSO: (not conforming to this joke tells one of their own) lets a grizzly bear open the door and eat the people on the other side.
That is comical brilliance! +7 internets to both for this knock knock joke revision, and a hearty thanks.
This guy gets it.
-
but if you were joking as they were, wouldn't you let them ask for you guys to stop and you would? o wait, you're not joking; you're being 'tough'
Jokes aren't funny if you don't commit to them. You'll find no half-hearted humor here.
-
You people sound as though NSO has no sense of humor. On the contrary, we're just playing along with the joke the only way we know how. I know I personally find this war hilarious.
-
Hooray, let's just hope we don't get into another war. :/ Good thing RV settled matters with The Family.
I lol'd

I was reading CN survivor, then I looked at the top of the screen and saw a google add for survivor auditions.
Is this a sign?
A sign that the google ads are working properly, perhaps
-
Its because mhawk wasnt home guys we all know it.
I think mhawk probably knows it as well. My theory is he probably couldn't bring himself to agree to pay PC reparation money, but he gave the interim goverment the authority to negotiate peace with the knowledge that they were likely to take a more pragmatic stance.

One can only expect great things from this alliance, as its founder has a long history of dedication and success and the alliance's theme is an original one.
-
Wow, you sure did edit out alot. Unfortunately I did not care enough to post on it.
You are (were) in Sparta and Sparta is now at the top of the world. The pressures there are great and your leaders are probably now beginning to realize that. Of course their will be changes in leadership style.
Naw, that stuff is pretty much par for the course for Tulak. And even if it were the pressure changing his style, I really don't think "combative jerk" is really a great choice.
Edit: also, Auric, you should return the OP to it's original content. As long as you're airing dirty laundry here, you might as well do it right.
