1. Indeed, we're always looking for nations to sign up for the next season. Tercera race is certainly hotting up now.
2. Meanwhile, an interesting race might well be shaping up in the Tercera...hope I can keep my winning streak up, especially now that I'm 'concentrating on the league'.
3. D'oh! I've been relegated! Just have to get promoted again.
4. Come on folks, this is a great way to represent your nation and some extra fun as well. So get into the Liga while you still can!
5. Keville are relegated, darn it. Would probably have beaten ALDM as well if not for the stupid referee giving a 'doubtful offside' according to the game. Oh well, Segunda here I come.
6. Also, I have started a Mostly Harmless League for the MHA and allies. http://http://www.xperteleven.com/prepage.aspx?Lid=249951 Obviously I'd like to get it up to about 8-9 clubs, at the minute I've got 3.

Two of them will be wrapping up at the end of this month. One of them is the Nordreich Liga which I manage and we can always use more new managers.
Sure am. I've sent you an app for the Nordreich Liga. I'm considering setting up my own league though, as I fancy a shot at being an administrator. Might solicit interest for an MHA/Harmlin league, although I tend to think it might be better to attract people to LM if we're short of people. As a complete bit of blue sky thinking, any support for a Women's Liga Mundo?
8.
A lot also depends on the structure of the league. Longer seasons favour player development, while shorter seasons favourite the buy-a-veteran route. If you play in a 6-team divison set-up, it makes it very hard to develop youngsters because you have less games to risk losing by using them. Also seasons with 2 regular matches per week are brutal to build a team, as injuries are twice as devasting, you see less prospect opportunities, and all your cash is dumped into form so maintaining a warchest to buy veterans is difficult. If you are looking for an example of this kind of situation, take a look at my Suriname team.
Agree - I was in the UK County League, which was a 7 team per league, 2 match per week league, with 3 up and 3 down in each league. Introducing youngsters And no cups. Introducing youngsters was painful and I ended up losing track of the situation because I was playing so often and got demoted twice. Stopped playing it in the end. Need a new league or two now, but ones with a weekly league schedule that I can keep up with. I like cups, believe it or not (even if I suck at them in this game). And yes, LLM in FM FTW.
9.
Anyways, looking at Keville United, I have ALWAYS been impressed by your side when playing. They always give Die Bokke a serious run for their money, even when we have had fairly strong wins. If Keville drops to Segunda, I expect to see them back fairly soon.
Why, thank you. We aim to make life difficult. As the MHA's best side in LM, we've got to carry the flag of MHAwesomeness. Well, sometimes. Actually, I have quite a good record against the O4. If relegated, I intend to put in the time to get back up! The challenge of managing against real managers makes it more than worthwhile, and representing one's Cybernation is fun. It seems to me that the structure of Xpert11 is very much about developing promising youths over the long run, rather than buying in expensive veterans - an Arsenal strategy rather than a Chelsea one if you like. Getting the balance is important - I read somewhere that its useful to have your team average over 26 years. Of my players, I think Ted Rotenston still has a lot to offer in future seasons and should improve for a few yet, also Azad Urmia is very exciting in midfield. Francis McBeath and Alistair Barr should make for very good defenders in a few seasons too, but effective rotation should be the key. Trouble is the team has to be playing well to effectively 'carry' youngsters.
10.
Correct me if I am wrong, but when your team joined it was placed in the Segunda while everyone else new that season went into the Tercera. Honestly, your team has done remarkably well for only being around a few seasons. Staying up in the Primera is difficult to do because the Original 4 have such a head start over everyone else in the Primera. And there is still hope for you. If we gain enough new managers to reach 40 teams, then the Primera will be up to 10 teams and with SiPS folding, you could still find yourself staying up as long as you don't somehow crash into last place (essentially impossible at this point).
Absolutely, yes, my team was placed first in the Segunda. My problem has been that I have a good attacking team but one that's not strong enough to attack in the Primera...so I invested in defence, but then my best defender, Rene Lobadov retired, and I couldn't rely on defence anymore. Because I haven't won anything for a long time, money is low too, which means I'm quite limited in what I can do with my present squad. I have a few promising youths on their way up, but the problem is that the game really seems to prefer experienced players, which the Original 4 have plenty of. Segunda would probably be more difficult - my team always seem to get beaten in the cup by Segunda teams, so it wouldn't be a useful change at all. At the moment I have managed to stem the tide and still hope to sneak through...maybe I should start recruiting actively for the Liga, if we can get that expansion it would help.
11. I'm still nuturing my squad. Think it was given a baptism of fire by accidentally getting promoted to the Primera in the first season. Ah well!
12. I can enter and save you the hassle - we Kevodians are always up for a sporting challenge (taking part is one of our national values). Nation Name:Kevodia RP Nation Name:Kevodia Preferred Team Focus:Offense
13. Well...my team has been having a very difficult season. Still, a 0-0 draw against Duckies and the hope is there that there might just be time to escape the drop...again. Hoping to get a more time for LM now, my real life has been really disruptive these last few months.
14. Crikey, just one win would be nice!
15.
POOL B: The Cheeselands I figured would do well (Top 4 finish in B Pool) but I'm now leaning towards a Top 4 finish overall as looking more realistic. Kevodia I thought would be challenging for a more stronger position.
Agreed, I'm disappointed with our showing! Kevodia's backpages are full of grumbling at the team's poor showing in the Traansvaal, with rumours that the KFA might have to review manager Ron Bassetson's position should Kevodia's performance not pick up...
