  1. I didn't have anything to say in regards to Master Hakai's post, mainly because I didn't want others to know that I had done exactly the same thing in the preview menu for several minutes first, too. -_-
  2. A wild Pansy appears! I'll consider this an auspicious sign. I remember you, too, Ogaden. Howdy, and thanks
  3. After glancing at the wiki with the intent of updating the forum link, I realized that it's been 6 years and a month since I started playing. There's been so many great times that I can barely remember them all. Despite all the doomsaying, the sea of !@#$%*ing, complaining, and butthurt, (or perhaps, sometimes, because of it) this has been a great community. Thanks to everyone for being your awesome selves!
  4. Good to see you, too, Sigrun! Hope all is well in the Confederacy. Thanks!
  5. I have awoken from a great slumber and now from the blackest, deepest, depths of the churning sea I dredge forth the Stronghold of the House of the Serpent: The IRON PAGODA http://houseoftheserpent.org tldr: I have a forum. Nothing in it yet. Come by if you want.
  6. Congratulations, Rayvon, for leaving the NSO in better shape than you found it. Let's see how the next round of cards play out.
  7. As a great admirer of NPL, I wish you all the best of luck. A great run and a fun loving alliance if there ever was one. Peace, my friends. I'll drop some nukes in your memory.
  8. Since my last beer review, I've drank many, many, beers. (many, many, beers, many better than this one). However, I'm still capable of putting fingers to keyboard tonight so this is the beer review of Sam Adams Rebel IPA. Head: I don't know what the head is, because I'm drinking it out of the bottle like all good alcoholics should. What kind of dork pours it into a glass, anyways? Body: Balanced and slightly bitter. Nice light and dry taste. Smooth. No after taste. Some-Other-Factors: What the $%&@, it's a beer, not a car. You can drink of bunch of it, good enough for me. The End. $%&@ you.
  9. Back in the day, watching two leaders of great alliances clash on the OWF was like watching wrestling of the gods. Erudite and tactical thinkers, they usually gave great debate or at least effective propaganda. So popcorn worthy. Not so much any more....
  10. Mmmmmm, smell the controversy. A rough way to start, getting mud all over your name before even leaving the house. Well, good luck I guess.
  11. I saw the sever up-date and followed it to this humble forum, the birthplace of a babe of destiny. I bring offerings of Spices, Gold, and, er, Wine.
  12. Fascinating. IMO, poaching, and even coordinated poaching at a specific alliance, and other types of soft aggression is only a CB as far as the recipients are willing to draw the line in the sand and then defend it. This thread made my morning. Chim: More dangerous than a poverty-stricken mother with a pillow.
  13. It's not, but after the last tussle, I have a warchest to rebuild. The sorry SOB got at least 4 days of punching my nation in the face while I was away. Then sends peace after 2 days of fighting, after I blow my fiscal wad on getting back on even NS footing. Sheesh. I haven't been in peace mode with this nation yet, until now. In the meantime I've been a busy little bee. Lots of forums visited, and people harassed.
  14. I have to agree with this. There have been many (many) players that I greatly dislike, (and plenty I do) and yet they energize the situation with action, either emboldening their allies or their opposition. Dynamic players, either loved or hated, bring a polarizing (c wut I did there Grub) element that is needed. All others are just the splatter on the wheels that crushes them.
  15. Listened to both podcasts. I like it and recommend it to others.
  16. Or the Quartz Council? The Serpent Slithers, The World Shivers From Slumber, to Consciousness We Awaken Manifestations of Potentiality Finally, a new direction. Something exciting in CN is beginning. Still waters run deep.
  17. Certainly no offense to the, surely, fine folk in Invicta, but I liked you guys so much more when Jorost came back. Congrats and all that jazz. Cheers, too!
  18. I endorse this endeavor and will lend what ever support I, El Presidente of Kzoppistan, can to those of the Limitless Nexus affiliation. Bringing dynamic alternative economies into this world is an exciting prospect. Before the resource change ability, I often toyed with the idea of creating a Coal Consortium to create a beneficial economic bond between random players. So this is pretty neat. Signed, His Most Effervescent, Mr. Otingocni the Splendid, El Presidente of Kzoppistan, Champion of the White Sphere
  19. Happy Birthda-wait, what the fuck is going on in here? Well, er, whatever. Good luck, and I do like SirWilliam, and that Master Hakai guy is pretty alright, too, so congrats and cheers to many more.
  20. Ha ha, thanks! An interesting side note, after fiddling with the copper wire for half and hour and discarding the first one for being too short, I almost gave up, thinking the clip I saw was some sort of hoax, or I was just an idiot (both are equally likely on any given day). I gave it one last adjustment by pulling the wires closer to the magnet and the damn thing surprised me when it almost took off. When I went to pick it up, the top was so hot I dropped it. Science.
