The forums are nice and the graphics look good. Nice job. Being an American, I want to love this theme, but the problem I have with it is that it doesn't work for an alliance. Technically, we're all nation leaders running our own countries and wouldn't request that our nation and its members apply for citizenship with an "alliance" and it couldn't be "states" since we're dealing with countries, and it wouldn't be "of America" since it would be many nations united...as in United Nations. But really, pay no mind to what makes sense. Most people don't around here. Good luck with your alliance.

Hello ladies and gentlemen of Planet Bob. I come before you today with the announcement of a declaration of existence. Why? Because 10 new alliances in a week just isn't enough. Without further ado, I give you... Iunctus Ut Unus - United As One This announcement was intended to be delayed for some time, at least until we had all government members in place. However, with the confirmation of a protectorate agreement with the Dark Templar (thanks especially to myworld and supa), and more and more people finding out about us, I decided to go ahead and make it official. Imperium is an alliance located in the Black Sphere, where our closest friends in DT and The Family reside. All members of the Black Team I've ever personally dealt with have been most welcoming and willing to help, so it just made sense that we establish ourselves among friends. That being said, I noted this announcement as a "Swan Song" because to any of you who are familiar with me, you know I have had several failed attempts in the past at alliance creation and only one successful one...the Global United Nations (GUN)...of course, that was back when I went by Zhaan. I have failed friends, allies, and myself by giving up too soon on alliances with great potential. Alliances such as Troy, Central Defense Corps (CDC), and Starfleet. You either learn from your past mistakes or you're doomed to repeat them. Therefore, this "swan song" is my final creation in CN and I have vowed to those who support me in this endeavor, and those that doubt, that I shall not allow it to disband under my reign. I would like to thank QQQ14 who has stood by me and aided in the creation of Imperium. Thanks again to Dark Templar for once again agreeing to a protectorate treaty with us, and thanks to our friends in the CIA for believing and their support. Thanks to Drugsup of LoSS for his help behind the scenes with the next stage of Imperium development (to be unveiled at a later time). Ah, I never knew about this one. I asked because I once started a Troy alliance which was short-lived, but it was set up nicely, but it was a case of bad timing with me (real life calling) to ever get it off the ground. Good luck with this incarnation. It's a great theme.

Very nice forums. Congrats. I actually purchased a 3.0 forum to set up my new alliance, but I never could figure out how to do some of the nicer things you've done, such as the icon legend and mod to add the drop down list of resource selections, etc. when registering. I'm just not technically inclined, I guess. Yours are really nice, but I do have a question. I visited the site I was linked to where you got the skin and it's all in Portuguese with no language selection option other than that. How did you figure out what you were doing there??

If it insults you that I have been a friend of Zenergy for a long time, then that's something you're going to have to work out on your own. I don't mind letting even my friends know when they've screwed up. I don't mind letting you know either. Frankly, you were wrong in every aspect of the way you handled your unhappiness of the way OV was being governed. You, along with your supporters in VE, violated principles of both OV's and VE's charters with your actions. You come here and insult Zenergy, and I counter by offering examples of his true nature and character. If you don't get what I'm saying, refer to the more specific citations by Schattenman in your other thread. What you've done is twist the facts to suit your cause, but it doesn't take a genius to see the smoke.

I believe Zen was willing to sacrifice himself rather than stay and bring harm to the alliance. In other words, it wouldn't have really mattered if they had told him to stay and damn the consequences. He would have left anyway. And that is what character is about.

Basing only on what's been said in this thread, it sounds like two wrongs don't make a right. Seems Tito shouldn't have offered a screenshot, be it to prove his side of something or otherwise. If he did, in fact, extend his term in government by postponing elections, then that wouldn't be cool either. Not convinced it happened that way, but if so, bad on Tito. I can't decode the terms that Seth left under, but I haven't seen anything that suggests he was within rights to return at leisure, be it that he didn't like the way the alliance was running or otherwise, and take over the show. That would be a clear violation of the principles outlined in the Charter, so I'm confuse as to how anyone could support his actions. If that is what took place, and if the other allegations of breaking charter law at will to suit his own purposes are true, then I'm not sure why anyone would stay and follow him as a leader...but each to their own. Like I said earlier on, there are 3 sides to every story...in this case...The Seth/VE side, Zen/Tito side, and the truth. Seems to be resolved, but personally, I think Zen got a bum deal.

well, bad move on Tito's part...but not the first time he's had a serious error in judgment. Unfortunate to see Zen involved in this. Wouldn't mind hearing his side of the story though.

Just curious...and I don't doubt in the least he did it....but what did Tito have to gain by involving NPO? What did NPO have to do with anything?

Anything I say is pure speculation. I'm just curious to find out more. I've known Zen and his character for a long time. There are always 3 sides to every story, and I have to believe that Zen acted in the best interest of the then government of OV. If that is the case, then his agenda and Seth's would have opposed each other, naturally. That wouldn't make him wrong though. No point in saying more unless either or all sides are going to present their interpretation of the facts. I just hope that cooler heads will prevail in this situation.
