It's unreasonable to have newer players have to pay 100mill to get nukes, while the older players don't have to do anything. If anything, it should be the other way around. And although nukes aren't the only weapon in the game, it's by far the most effective weapon in the high range of wars.

I fail to see how being in a neutralist alliance, which give you bucket loads of aid to grow, amounts to good nation management. Anyone should have the freedom to get nukes in a reasonable amount of time, no matter how they chose to play the game.

Exactly - very unfair. This keeps the top players at the top, and the bottom players on the bottom - elitism. Instead, the game should be dynamic, with players moving around in ranks all the time, with wars and growth. Otherwise it becomes a boring grind to the top, which is becoming more and more unachievable for newer nations.

I think if anything, nukes should cause NS to be lowered, thereby making it easier for other people to get nukes.

"Abusing" the system is a purely arbitrary definition, and is completely meaningless.

Makes the game more fun for older players, by giving them an advantage over newer players. Generally not something you'd want to do to get more people playing the game...

Reflects? This is a game. It should not be real, it should only be fun.

It is harder by the very fundamental principles of growth. If the people higher than a new player all grow at the fastest rate possible (and only about 1200 of 30000 need to do this), then no matter how fast the new player grows, they will never be able to get into the top 5%, because no matter how fast they grow, so long as a very small portion of people grow just as fast (ie. fastest rate possible), then that person will never be able to overtake them.

I dislike the change. Seems like every single time the NS calculation is re-done, it's harder and harder to get nukes, which means that always, only the older players have them. This "elitism" creates bad gameplay.

Here's some (actually a lot of) info about us: http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/FIST We have plenty of tech sellers, and we have an area for doing donation deals. if you can pay standard price (9-12mill) for a $20 donation, then you could probably get some. I know there's a few people in FIST whom do donations. I'm not sure how we could help a nation as large as you in terms of money to grow, but I'm assuming you mean mainly tech and donations, where we could probably help quite a lot. FIST is a black team alliance, but you can stay on yellow, because you're 58k NS. We're still fairly small (50 members), and there would be opportunities for you to come gov in the future, if you are an active player. You won't need to be a bank (in fact I really wouldn't want you to be one), but you'd need to have 20 nukes in case of war. Loyalty is a must. If you want to "try" out alliance for a short while, and find out that it's not what you wanted and leave - I won't mind, but if you leave when we go to war, I ain't goina be happy.
