1. Good luck to you. I mean that sincerely.
 2. TGE was probably the first alliance I've felt at home in, ever since I stepped foot on Planet Bob in April '06. Back in the Golden Era, when we weren't the poster boys for failure and corruption, we were very nearly a family of sorts. But that time has waxed and waned, and those times are gone. In the end, we failed to return to those same ideals that the alliance was founded upon: brotherhood, loyalty, and trust. Troll all you want, but at the end of the day, you'll find that thin air is not worth trolling. Being the oldest member of TGE (from being there from the beginning to this end), I feel that several honorable mentions are necessary. (Empress) Shurukian - By far, you were perhaps the most progressive leader that the alliance has ever had. It is sad that many of the conservatives in the government resented your powerful reign and the loyalty of your supporters. But having said that, you came out of it all intact, and perhaps even better than you started. You were a gem in the Empire, and it was a great experience working with you. Kaiser Frederick II (Franz Joseph I) - K-Fred, you meant well for the alliance, but you were ridiculously inactive. But we tried to hold onto your vision until the very end. May you rest in peace, good Kaiser. Lord Cyvole - You demanded an annotation, and you got one. The only brave Frenchie in the German Empire. Your skills with The Sims are unparalleled; may we share a laugh or two while I kick your ass in CC. Emperor Marx - We may not have seen eye to eye, but you did your part in TGE. Good luck. James Maximus - What could be said, has been said. You were a great member in TGE, even though your politics and temper never agreed with Vlad. But look at the bright side: you get an honorable mention, and he doesn't. Valdemar - You sir are a man of class. I remember your efforts in trying to restore TGE to an equilibrium after the Shurukian Affair, and you are a man true to his word. I do hope that we will talk more in the future, but be glad of what you have accomplished thus far. Gerrard Turrill (Tokugawa Mitsukuni/Hermann Hoth) - Brilliant MoW in your time. You were ahead of the game, and were on your feet whenever you needed to be. You were a true friend, and a great fighter. March on, wherever you are. Frederick III (Sheogorath) - You took the reigns when no one else would. You honor me, sir, and I regret I had not made your acquaintance earlier. Godspeed. Prince Albert - A capable man and a capable leader. You have the guts that I lacked, and you took a job in the worst of circumstances, turning it around as best you could. You have my respect for that, and I wish you well in your future endeavours. Franz Ferdinand - You scheming, Pikachu-stealing !@#$%^&. You were always one for drama, and I do not regret joining you on several escapades. Perhaps we will see each other again real soon. Nemhauser - While little changed between us and NoR, in terms of bettering relations (it progressively got worse, unfortunately), you have earned my respect as an amazing leader, and a brilliant diplomat (not that you didn't have it before). I salute you for this (though your comment in the thread doesn't go unnoticed). K-Fred always had a nack for making videos for TGE. While I cannot even approach his capabilities, I figure that we give TGE the sending off that it requires. Enjoy; if you need to troll, you can troll me on #TGE. As most people are busy with the current global conflict, I shan't take much of your time. A number of our embassies have been inactive for some time, and we're doing a little rearranging with the forums and such. If your alliance is on our list, please have one of your leaders or authorities contact our people as to the continuing status of your embassy. A PM, IRC query, or in-game message will do the trick. These embassies have been inactive for the past several months:

Independent Republic of Orange Nations
Christian Coalition of Countries
The Resistance
North Atlantic Treaty Association
Octava Orden
New Polar Order
Knights of Ni!
The Northern Cross
Global National Defence
Age of Reclamation
We Are Perth Army
Federation of Allied Republics
Federation of Buccaneers
The Imperial Order
Alchemy
Boards Alliance of Protectorate States
The Legion
The Gremlins
Kingdom of Hyrule
The Grey Council
Avalanche
Mushroom Kingdom
New Sith Order
State of Unified Nations
Farkistan
North Atlantic Defence Coalition
iFOK
New Pacific Order
Commonwealth of Sovereign Nations
United Nations Space Command
If there are any errors to this list (if alliances do not exist anymore, or have merged), please let me know so that it may be amended. Confirmation of embassy status must be received no later than February 9th, at which point the unconfirmed embassies will be shut down. I know it's a long list, but we have only ourselves to thank for this outcome. If you're interested in setting up an embassy with us, or would like to get back in touch, feel free to register and sign in on our boards, The German Empire Forums. We will be more than happy to provide you with an embassy, and some good conversation. That being said, I wish everyone the best in their futures. May you all prosper and grow, now and into the future. Yours Truly, Adam Suttler Imperial Chancellor
 7.
/me pounds desk HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh God. Stop it. Please. You're killing me.
Really, zog, was that necessary? A little humility is good for the soul Also, should these logs be posted publicly, or should they be kept under wraps? Since NoR has them, I do believe that they should be the ones to decide.
 8.
I think your government knows who gave us the logs, he's even gov himself. And yes, I agree. Without all the stuff that happened in the past year, NoR and TGE could've gotten closer together. In fact, it did when Martens and K-Fred settled their old fued. But then other stuff happened and, well, everything went downhill from there. My stance on TGE has gone from neutral/moving towards slightly positive to strongly dislike during my period as Reichskaiser. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that some members from TGE that visit our boards are friendly in our faces, but that those same individuals have said to others to avoid Nordreich because we're a bunch of... you know.
Believe me when I say that I express my deepest disgust with this fiasco and the way it was handled. From my understanding, this was to be solved weeks ago by one person, and instead, it was put off or forgotten about until it was too late. I'd like to say that this sort of thing won't happen again, and I mean to support and secure the maintenance of this promise, but with the majority of Planet Bob shaking their heads or their fists at us, it would seem like an empty sentiment. Still, Nem, I'd like to publicly apologize, on behalf of anyone and everyone mixed up in this scandal; though I may not be directly involved, I do feel that I should take responsibility for what has happened, to be the bigger man in this situation. I'm not sure what we can do to make it up to you, as the last affair was pretty bad in of itself (and war is not a good option, contrary to the military nature of NoR). Please feel free to contact me on IRC and such, and perhaps a diplomatic solution can be reached, without having to resort to conflict.
Buddy, let me stop you here. I hope you take these words seriously. When you come back and have no idea what's going on. It's better not to comment about the situation as you will usually put your foot into your mouth. I know you don't want to have TGE stand all alone in this but, you need to find out what's going on first. I hope you take that advise seriously.
While I would normally agree with you, I now have a much greater grasp of the situation, and am able to address it accordingly. It's never good to go blindly into a debate that you know nothing about, but after a while of being there, you pick up on what's going on, and you're able to join in flawlessly. However, I don't intend on pulling off this sort of thing in the future, so thanks for the advice. To be honest, I'm still baffled how we managed to screw this up...
 9.
He could have. It was only when we were told that those logs would get posted on the OWF if nothing happened soon, we decided to play it differently. We didn't appreciate the blackmail attempt.
I know nothing of this blackmail attempt, and would again reiterate that such an action could not be the fault of the entire alliance, but the individual(s) that initiated such a deplorable action, in which case some name-dropping would be great right about now. I'd just like to point out that had it not been for these idiotic squabbles between our alliances (generally due to extenuating circumstances and lapses of reason), relations would be in a different place right now. In other words, things need not continue in such animosity, and I, for one, would like to move off of this deathly collision course.
 10.
The whole speech and not once do you touch on the real subject: how long did TGE hold on to incriminating evidence before bringing it to light? NoR's involvement in this is minimal... they're simply there. It's you who waited until someone left your sphere of influence before outing them. And after all the !@#$ that I've seen coming from you guys with regards to Nueva Vida's own allies, I'm not the least bit surprised.
I'm not the best person suited to talk about this situation. I recently came back from a 4-month hiatus for school studies, and cannot give an accurate rendition of what has happened here. Hence, I did not touch on a subject that I know little about. While it doesn't shock me that NV comes to NoR's defense, I am a little worried by the animosity that we experience from that sphere, but hey, assumption is the new god.
TGE specifically said that they would go public with their evidence. If that's not an attempt to defame us and our allies, I'm not sure what is. We don't involve ourselves with TGE. They involve themselves with us. Your over sized post is clearly compensating for a lack of relevant or accurate content.
In this case, direct your anguish and malcontent at the officials who refused you this info. The majority of TGE, including a good number of the government, have no wish to further deteriorate NoR-TGE relations (as jagged as they may be, they exist). So please, don't generalize, and help us determine where we are wrong. In that, we can strive to learn from Nordreich's greater experience in the conduct of affairs, and get on with our lives. Why waste time in a !@#$fest of verbal battle?
Man, are you way, way off. I did my scheming against the flawed kaiser, yes. Something many since myself have attempted mind you. But it was all done on the TGE boards. Do not attempt to distract from the announcement at hand by tarnishing my character.
Am I that way off? Nobody is perfect, Weiss. This is why we must all rely on each other to accomplish the goals at the end of the day. And while several such attempts may have been made in the past, none of them were orchestrated on StormFront forums. You can try and excuse yourself however you wish, but at the end of the day, you're really lying to yourself. In any case, I'm sure we can dig up the old KillerTomato screencaps from when you were booted, but that's not the route I want to take. While I understand your anger with TGE and that they have jilted you on many an occasion, you honestly could have just posted a cancellation with tKoI, instead of making a huge drama out of it. However, life will go on, I suppose.
 11. Personally, I find this to be yet another misunderstanding, blown somewhat out of proportion by Nordreich, as a deep-seated hate for TGE still roams the community any time they are even remotely mentioned. In all honesty, I highly doubt that The German Empire has any reason to put have Nordreich defamed or whatnot; hell, even K-Fred and Martens are on rather good speaking terms (as compared to the explosive hate that they had for each other in the early days of TGE). They have no reason to do so, and have no want to do so, and yet these allegations from Nordreich keep popping up whenever they find it convenient. I've been a member of both alliances, and I can easily say that TGE has moved on, while Nordreich grits her teeth, all the while attempting to find an 100% certain opportunity in which to end TGE once and for all. Granted, this is a rather big accusation, but I am sure that several Nordlanders can recall my Althing election campaign, where a main focus of my opposition was my outright diplomatic approach, as well as my reconciliatory efforts between the alliance and Nordreich (it was like force-feeding a stubborn child, but to no avail. But a number of members did realize the point of this, and I thank them for their understanding). Is it so wrong to try and promote progress rather than regression, to abandon old grudges and to move on, trying to repair and recover what has been broken, in order to achieve a greater tomorrow? To err is human. Mistakes are made. Details are overlooked. Ambiguous accusations are made and revealed to be false. But the truth remains that TGE has moved on. Nordreich has not managed to do so, and still lingers, attempting at every turn to put a knife in their backs. And to be brutally honest, it serves Nordreich no great purpose in doing so. I advise that you find another scapegoat for your problems, because we won't play that role anymore. PS: For the record, Flinders, you have little to talk about when it comes to honor. As I recall you were once part of TGE (and a good, active member, in fact), and you were ultimately booted for your treasonous plot to overthrow Kaiser Fred (you may recall that the majority of your scheming did in fact take place on StormFront, which was also a great reason to have you booted). Kettle pot much, Weiss?
 12. Glad to see you guys still out there. I may be on a temporary hiatus right now, but I felt the need to come celebrate with you guys nonetheless.
 13.
Good evening, fellow grunts, today, our ally, the Erratically Righteous Army have insulted our honour by forgetting to demand for the ashes of our glorious leader's great friend, Comrade Stalin. As a result, we must discuss this issue carefully, as you can understand, ERA have been good to us, they have fed us, they have paid our bonds... and you know I'm just making that up to make them feel better. The problem currently is that these ashes apparently have a magical value... apparently they make those who are disloyal come into line, therefore, we must act carefully in this little conflict. The Communist Cadillac Corporate Party currently posses said ashes. The kind which apparently cures all kinds of health problems. This, of course, must not be forgotten, and with this, we must plan. These ashes will make our glorious leader the greatest force that the world has potentially never maybe definitely seen. With precision timing, we can extract said desires from this little party by doing things such as flashing pretty colours into their eyes or let them pet cute little kittens. Therefore, a time for action is required. CCCP, your time is up, give up Comrade Stalin's ashes to the glorious leader of Team Rocket, which is far superior to inferior People's Republic of Nutty North Korea. If you do not obey our glorious leader's demands, we will have to take alternative measures to obtain said articles of desired instruments of peace. Also, inferior state of the People's Republic of Nutty North Korea, please have Justin Bieber stand down, and replace him with glorious replacement chosen by glorious leader of Team Rocket. You know you must obey this request, for we are mighty and actually have a Weapon of Mass Creation program while you do not. It is called glorious leader of Team Rocket, and he must be obeyed at all costs. Finally, may the glorious empire of Cardboard Boxes reign supreme, and smite those who are not Team Rocket to the ground with their almighty jagged edges of doom. We know that they are truly dangerous, and could kill anyone who is not Team Rocket certified. Glorious leader of Team Rocket could quite easily deflect such instruments of death and transform the evil jagged edges with cute kittens of devious planning... and cuteness. Signed by the Ruling Power(s) on the 27th September 2010 Franz Ferdinand, Boss
I must say, I'm quite impressed with this turn of events. o/ Team Rocket
 14.
Really, Suttler? REALLY? I mean, there's toeing the line but come on, this is just ridiculous.
I've missed Fred. TGE was always much more fun with him around. And I genuinely wish them luck. There's no point in fueling a grudge that is rather expired.
 15.
Well, now its official. \m/ is the biggest failure on the face of the earth. (Besides NSO, STA, and all the other idiots out there I forget to mention)
You missed RoK.
 16. Myself and d3filed go back a long way. We've had our disagreements, but he's a good guy. I thereby wish him good luck in his endeavors, whatever they may be. Come to think of it, anyone that screws around with Marx is a friend of mine.
 17.
Anyways, this is CN. There is no right and wrong, no black and white. Its more like you've got red and blue, and each side is claiming they're actually white while the other is actually black.
Perhaps you are right, and this mentality is set in stone. However, it would be a step in the right direction to at least try to stop this mentality before it gets out of hand. [OOC]This blind sheep mentality has already gone haywire within the confines of the real world, especially in America, where many rights and freedoms are often confused with having the right to forceful fanaticism and blind stabs at what one thinks is the absolute truth, as opposed to knowing the absolute truth. Especially when it comes to religion.[/OOC] The RoK and Co curbstomp of NSO came as a surprise to most, and an awaited act of revenge for others. Was it warranted? Perhaps; perhaps not. I cannot label NSO with anything good or bad, as I don't know them all that well. My respect for RoK is also at a neutral state, as I've only dealt with them in getting a protectorate agreement for another alliance. Taking into account what RoK and Co. claims to be their CB, it seems to be overkill to attack the whole of NSO simply because of a rogue. Sure, mistakes were made, but they could've been cleared up with a couple rep payments. Instead, the majority of NSO gets stomped because a rogue was aided against RoK's, and ultimately TENE's, wishes. From the perspective of a neutral party, this is a little much. Therefore, one can only speculate that RoK, or some third party, had to have other motives to move towards full-scale war. But everyone already knows this. The only thing that people don't know is what those motives are. This is the pinnacle of arguments here, that RoK, or anyone else on that side for that matter, are withholding their motives from the public. Why are they doing so? No one except the scheming high officials of SF know. Perhaps it involves the private sale of Hoo's favorite strap-on, and NSO, finding out about this, threatened to reveal this to the world. Maybe it was something so stupid or so embarrassing that it couldn't be posted without violating the ToS. I have no idea why they don't post their reason in their DoW or in another announcement. Until they own up to their own scheme, I can only assume that something along the lines of my first speculation is valid. And everyone is obviously entitled to make up their own theory. However, relating this to my "sheep" rant, the general public seems to go ahead and pick sides based on inconclusive evidence. Personally, I cannot fathom formulating an opinion on a given topic unless I know every single fact that made it so. Once we get to the point where we can't dig up any more evidence, that's when a picture can start to form. In these recent events, it seems that people don't care if the truth were handed to them on a silver platter; they'll keep inventing lies and deceit to fit their means, effectively clouding and distorting the sound judgment of others, preventing them from making a just decision in their opinions or actions. This is the crux of my elaborations. But I am finished. How will this war end? At the rate that everything is going, NSO may or may not concede defeat in the near future. It's evident that they won't last too long without any outside help, but in refusing outside help, they are preventing further injustices upon other alliances. A surrender or armistice will most likely be announced in the near future, with NSO either having to pay the initial costs that were accrued from gaining Sedrick, or having to pay outrageous reparations to all of SF. However, NSO will continue to endure as an alliance, as I highly doubt that such an injustice would dishearten them to disband. On the contrary, it would promote a unity and greater brotherhood within the alliance, in the face of injustice. Additionally, some global rogue protocols would be set in order to prevent future situations. When? Within the month. [OOC]People are soon to go off to school and work, myself included.[/OOC] Unless SF are going to be dicks, and keep this war lasting several months. However, judging from the rate at which NSO's NS is dropping, they will not keep fighting for too long before surrendering. It's very difficult to say, since the fighting's been going on for only a week. Edit: If I've missed something in my rants, it's because I wasn't fully informed of a certain number of details. Please enlighten and correct me on anything that I may have mistaken, so that everyone can benefit from a civil discussion.
 18.
What if there is peace tomorrow? What if the terms are - Rogue responsible for 6m, - NSO responsible for 6m Heft sent - The apology that everyone takes very seriously. Would you still feel that there was something more to this then the rogue and TENE? I wouldnt.
That's a huge "what-if" that, due to Hoo's warmongering mentality, is quite an impossibility. Even if those were to be the actual terms (which they won't be), the attack on one alliance by RoK and Co would still reveal that there is more to this war than rogues and bad aid. And to Tautology's explanation, I have to say that it's a fairly good summary of the positive war-time benefits. Although I'm a pacifist and diplomat, I do enjoy the activity and unity that war provides (when I'm not directly involved in the combat, of course). It helps to rejuvenate the population, and bring forward new persons that may have something to say. Alas, it also breeds paranoia, distrust, and silent/blind obedience, the last of which is the worst. People lose their ability to tell right from wrong, fair from unfair, and smart from dumb. War blurs the lines as well as it blurs the mind. Most will simply become a pawn, and will stupidly argue for whichever side they are told they are on. Don't believe me? Look at all the mindless chatter within the DoW threads, with people telling others how they are right and you are wrong; how they are the righteous and you are the malevolent scum. People tend to stop individual thought, and rely on a collective, submissive voice that is no more than a tool of propaganda. Do I have the right to tell you what is right and what is wrong? Absolutely not. However, neither should anyone else. You are all individuals ("Yes, we are all individuals!"), and should not have to succumb to the droning of government officials who arbitrarily decide what they think is right or wrong, not necessarily the absolute truth. It's easy to just be one of the masses; it takes intelligence, skill, drive, and passion in order to become your own person. I'm done with my anti-mass preaching. I'm just fed up with people blindly believing every word they are told by their respective governments, without even bothering to uncover and confirm the truth. That is what bugs me about these wars, and this one in particular. Nothing but blind sheep.
 19.
I guess it makes sense NSO would rather deal with a smaller organization the could readily threaten and manipulate. Given the size and experience of both TENE and NSO I think it was very prudent for RoK to deal with NSO on this issue.
Perhaps RoK were good to step up to the plate, but I doubt it was TENE's intention to completely roll an alliance simply because of a rogue. Now, a TENE official will obviously argue otherwise, as they assume they got more than they expected, but that doesn't make it right. No doubt RoK will impose a ridiculous number of reparations, debts, and other peace terms to NSO, who really don't deserve this kind of treatment. But I digress...
 20. The total obliteration of the Worldwide Imperial Nations by the alliance formerly known as Atlantis. Being the leader of the alliance at the time (early 2007), it was a hard hit, especially since the alliance existed for little over 2 months. Alas, I can't hold a grudge anymore. The most valid memory is the unwarranted expulsion of Shurukian from The German Empire, after a small series of misunderstandings gave Vlad Dracula the leverage to forcefully abdicate the leader of the alliance. This issue was never resolved with what truly happened, and probably won't be. However, in loyalty to a friend that I've known for a very long time, it is certainly valid as something I wish never happened.
 21.
Steps 3,4 and 5 were the diplomatic steps. Once a "do this and get that" statement is issued there really isn't much left to talk about, especially when one indeed performs the "do this" part for it leads straight to "get that"
I just don't think that a full-scale war is necessary in the obliteration of a rogue. In any normal situation, a series of diplomatic talks and reps would be paid in order to resolve the issue. In this case, it just seems as though NSO made a small mistake, and has to pay for it with their lives. What is just in this type of conflict? It's overkill and bloodthirst from Hoo's side; nothing more, nothing less.
Ooh, maybe he's discovered a new insight... ... but, no, it's the same thing that has already been explained at least 4 times in this forum. There's a good reason why people learn to read before they learn to write, Adam. Please at least skim the relevant topics before you post.
I wasn't about to reveal any new insights as to the function of the war, but I was hoping to solidify as to why such efforts were required, in order to solve a small problem such as a rogue. It's not news, but I'd like some further clarification. Sorry for the slight inconvenience in my postings.
 22.
Yeah well I've been on this side the entire time and not once did Nordreich ever apologize to me or my old alliance (R&R) for the crimes they committed against us in two wars (rogues, ghosting). If you're entitled to declare injustices, I'm allowed to hold a grudge. e- ugh, this should have been in the above post
What NoR has done to you in the past has no bearing to current events, nor does it hold any bearing to my position in this scandal. I speak for myself, and as such, I don't expect my alliance affiliation to be of any consequence when I do so. Edit: I'd like to add that, if it's any consolation, I'm sorry for your loss with NoR's past transgressions, but I'm obviously not in a position to speak for my whole alliance. I'm a firm believer in straight diplomacy, and the effects that it can have in attaining peace. I also hate holding grudges, and having them held against me or my alliance, especially if it can be easily rectified. Perhaps our problem is that we generalize the attitudes of our peers through the affiliation of the collective alliance, ignoring the individual's opinion, tone, and argumentative direction. But enough philosophy for today. The fact remains that this war really shouldn't be a war. Sure, mistakes were made, but they could have been rectified easily and effectively through diplomatic and monetary means, rather through open warfare. Alas, there's nothing we can do.
1. Sedrick is at war 2. NSO recruits Sedrick while wars are on going 3. RoK contacts NSO about Sedrick and his application to NSO (Lets face it, NSO wouldn't have given TENE the time of day so their protectors RoK needed to do this) 4. NSO claims sovereignty of Sedrick and the actions taking place prior to Sedrick being a member 5. RoK states you have no sovereign claim to what happened to Sedrick and if you aid him we will consider it a act of war 6. NSO aids Sedrick 7. RoK rolls NSO Did I miss anything? Is anything I said not true?
The usual diplomatic negociations between steps 3-6 have been omitted by RoK, which doesn't really give NSO much room for explanation or admission of their mistake. Otherwise, everything seems to be normal. Though I'm not sure that fighting a war over Sedrick is in NSO's best interests. However, it is the principle of the idea that counts, I suppose. What I'd like to turn your attention to, is the fact that RoK had to ask for the assistance of 3+ alliances to attack NSO, simply because of a breach in rogue protocol. If that is not highly suspect and rather overkill in nature, I'm not sure what definition you're looking for.
I look for order, cohesion, and comfort, and Nordreich has all three, in my opinion. TGE was my home for some time, but it was on its way to a slow death. At the time I left, the government was in shambles, the forums were dead (literally, we actually had no forums), and the majority of our active members had gone off to seek shelter elsewhere. I tried to salvage what I could, but without the coordination of a forums system, it is very difficult to relay everything. Not impossible, but difficult. Thus, I left to an alliance where I knew several people from days gone by. There are many misunderstood alliances out there. Reputations take years to build, and seconds to destroy, and we tend to forget how fragile it all is.
 24.
Oh boy, now we have Nordreich members railing against the "injustices" of the world. Be still my beating heart.
As I've been in Nordreich for only the past few months, whereas previously I was on the opposite political side of the treaty web (namely, TGE). Therefore, labeling NoR members as you have done there is quite unwarranted. I believe I am entitled to declaring injustices, as I've seen them being done to and by me in the past. Please refrain from generalizing, and spare yourself the effort.
