The fact that this thread has this many more posts than the IRON or GGA cancelations is bizarre to say the least.
Not really so bizarre, TOP and NpO like arguing with each other. It's been going on for nearly a year and it will continue to.

The announcement thread for the NpO reminds me of the time when new alliances were announced in the Open Alliance and Team forums whereas now everything takes place in Alliance Politics, I dislike the new method as it clutters up all the real issues.

So much this, creating an MDP web map is like a curse that forces you out of CN shortly after it's creation. At least every time I pay attention to one of them it seems the author leaves shortly afterwards.

8. The FCC is an alliance with a foreign policy centered heavily around neutrality. This means that we do not go looking for fights, and avoid conflict whenever necessary. While we do not stifle free speech, we respectfully ask that our members use common sense and tact when posting comments on the CyberNations boards. Do you think that you would be incapable of maintaining our policy of neutrality if a different alliance pursued a policy you found to be wrong? Would you verbally harass, or even attack a different nation without authorization, if their modus operandi challenged your worldview?
In real life, neutrality is great. This is just a game. Even so, I can respect your wish not to drag you into fights. I'm sure that I'll be happy just making my country bigger without getting it all smashed to pieces in a pissing contest.
Aleister, your comments here seem to go against your membership application statements. I'd respect it if you didn't continue posting here any further.
As is said regarding most everyone who would post in OWF or AP regarding policy of other alliances and is repeated ad-nausem, the postings of Aleister Namara do not reflect those of the leadership of the FCC. Formalities out of the way, frankly we had no idea regarding the comments here. Being a friday night before Memorial Day weekend most of us are either on vacation or are out IRL, not me though I work on Saturdays. While I personally find it sad that Virillus is leaving the game, I remember him from his days in the NAAC; poaching members regardless if he did so or not is not SOP for a nation or alliance who wants to exist in the context of the Cyberverse for any meaningful length of time. If Virillus did or did not poach members from alliance x has no bearing currently on the state of war his nation is facing and apparently the quality stagger which will keep him out of peace mode. I wish him luck in attempting to play this situation to the general public for clemency, though doubt it will do any good what-so-ever.
Furthermore, regarding Alister, this subject will be looked into quickly, considering I'm part of our membership review board. Any further questions or comments can be forwarded to me directly via the little 'send message' button under the drop down menu next to my name.

Interesting thing I didn't know about the FCC is we're so awesome alliances sign treaties with us and we don't even know about it.
I think the OP meant the Frontline Formation Coalition as we don't sign PIAT treaties.
Also, just for added affect, it would seem you're not living up to your peace terms here then.

Not surprised to see you posting this. You make a habit of openly arguing with close allies. Honestly I don't know why you have any allies if you lack the tact to talk with them in private.
I would say the mark of true and healthy alliances is when there can be open and public differences while still remaining loyal to the defense of each other. But then my opinion doesn't really matter.

It's sad to see comments by Chancellor GPWSAR-10 regarding the brotherhood of friendship established throughout the sordid history that is NoV and it's various incantations to attempt to publicly question the man's character. Considering he has shown nothing but honesty and civility towards our membership and during his two applications for membership, it is certainly quite difficult to comprehend why such a person would be used in part to make a case for the justification of the destruction of an entire alliance. While NoV/NoR have always had issues related to their determination to be known publicly as a Germanic Nationalist alliances, I do not think it necessarily correct to be using comments from people outside of their leadership, certainly without sanction of their leadership, to justify attacking them nor destroying what they have built.
Frankly, knowing what some here do on other planets outside of Bob, it should be fairly easy for them to monitor NoV's membership. In fact those involved have already discussed the removal of questionable members here and it is mentioned in part of the CB such members simply founded new nations. What answer is put forth then to solve the problem associated with the founding of new nations created by old questionable members? If NoV was approached with the material evidence you have and they willingly remove such members, why then is the sheer existence of such moronic statements elsewhere, unless you've chosen not to address them with NoV, being used your reasoning for war? Did NoV actually allow and encourage the founding of new nations by those members who were summarily ejected from their membership?
Quite frankly I'll never understand the particular zeal some seem to take conducting such anti-Fascist activities, it has always been quite humorous to me, considering I've known for a long time one cannot stamp out any ideology though use of force. But then we've been over this territory before. You cannot fight an ideology by pushing it underground as has been done time and time again here, especially the one presented here(OOC: See Europe and Germany specifically). All this use of force does is reinforce their compatriots with the sense of victim hood and persecution, forces their isolation from the public arena and allows the ideology to brood and spread, such tactics have before and will always in the future fail. The question then must be raised from my perspective, do you really think NoV adheres to Nazism, if so what is currently being done does not solve the problem in the least bit. There is certainly no doubt however Nazism or Fascism will again be used on Bob as a means for war, because such views are persistent when they are never correctly addressed by those purporting to be able to solve them though force of arms.
Oh well, good luck to both sides and I'll go back to stuffing my mouth with popcorn.

I would like to see a treatise on Francoism posted for the general public, perhaps in a more appropriate venue than this current one for my own edification and hopefully to help the rest of the cyberverse better understand what it means to adhere to the ethos.
I've never seen a definitive commentary or detailing of Francoism, though I understand it might be more privately held and not meant for general consumption, I never the less find it intriguing from the outside looking in and hope to better understand it.

Really tired of hearing the term ZI thrown around all over the place. Reasoning:
The Hegemon wants to turn the term 'ZI' into a new internet slang wordI find it an interesting part of CN history that ZI as a term was highly disliked during it's original use before acceptance as the standard nomenclature for destroying a nation/enemy.
Just thought I'd share that musing with all.
