  1. You relies there are only 6 nations in peace mode.

I ordered 3 nations in the top company alone into peace once. It is a legit war tactic not to mention any banks

Stats on peace mode are updated once every 24 hours, looking at their alliance member list shows many more than 6 in PM.

  2. Gotta love it. This is what CN has become.../sighs.

This post is basically one of the leaders of an alliance saying they need no reason to go to war, they need no reason to consult with the protector of said alliance (as per normal protocol) and they really don't give 2 @#&$ what anyone thinks about it.

Hilarious, really, when there's one side that can do this, the game has ceased to be fun. Everything is predestined, forseeable, and predictable. When it comes the time that there are no repercussions for every action taken, then the time of the game is nigh.

It's rather transparent the goal with all of this is to draw this out into a larger conflict, start a brush fire on the outer extremities of the MDP web and see how much of one side you can burn.

  3. Not to be a jerk and not read the entire thing, but from my impression, having played for over two years; what ailes this game is simply unipolarity. There is effectively no conflict in the game, there are no two sides in the world, the game is effectively won. Now mainly this can be attributed to the hegemony of a group of alliances, however, much like the situation last summer in a similarly unipolar world, there was conflict. The only conflict now, which could be of any conseqence, would have to be between those currently in power; there is simply no exterior force which can destroy the Continuum, so it must destroy itself, likely because of the lack of an exterior threat. It will happen eventually one day, differences in alliance culture will always lead to conflict, it is simply a matter of time, and some have more patience than others. Granted, the game is much easier to weather when you simply look at the game with an interest which soley based on economic, not military, dominance. But, to each their own.

  4. Removing Electron Sponge from his position was very unpleasant for me. One way I will be mitigating this is by removing myself as well. Sponge was our greatest Emperor. I was involved in some way with leading the alliance since October of 2006. Now neither of us do. On a personal level, I think it something I had to do.

Our new government is very talented and have a fantastic outlook on the situation. I will remain at the Emperor's disposal and will serve as he sees fit, however I will be content to avoid leadership in the New Polar Order for quite some time.

Edit: OOC: I also just need a damn break. R.I.P. Random: Secret Stealth Emperor October 2006 to July 2008.

I know I for one am sad to see you go, but I entirely understand.

    o/ Random

    o/ NpO

OOC: Don't think you're actually going to do work at work now though. :P

  5. I still don't see any Random there as Emperor :( ; oh well. The thought of having Tyga back as Emperor however does bring back fond memories. But, such is life we have AlmightyGrub leading the North Star, congratulations.

OOC: Conan Penguin will crush his enemies, see them driven before him, and hear the lamentation of the women. :v:

    o/ NpO

  6. I also believe things like the rainbow regions name and content included referencing beat downs of small alliances by large coalitions perhaps should be reworded, or something.

But also what Emperor Whimsical said.
