  1. 'Back at it again'? 'Back at' what exactly? This is the kind of stuff most alliances look down upon with shame, leaving your alliance to fight in a war against someone your alliance wasn't in conflict with. It might suck being placed on a ZI list; certainly this method of dealing with it, rather than approaching them like you were instructed to, is going to achieve better results for you.

  2. Looking back, I've just realised just how pointless all the comments from people pointing out how many treaties and allies DefCon has are. Because all those allies are bound to put off Opethian when he's already going after an alliance of 2 million NS by himself.

For the most part I would have to agree with this, there isn't going to be anything to stop him if already threatening to take on Goliath hasn't stopped him.

Also, as a side note, I stole your avatar long ago and use it regularly on another forum.

  3. I am more than amused by this discussion, I actually do know the truth regarding our plans and our intentions. Regardless of what has been said or what I could say right now, there is little chance that the blatant and obvious truth would be accepted by the closed minds of my esteemed colleagues in Citadel but if one day you actually do want to know the truth I will happily tell you exactly what transpired and who was responsible for what and why.... but why ruin a good story. Suffice to say, I will continue to be amused by the truth being handled carelessly by many to justify their actions.

TOP, seriously, statements you have relied so heavily on are well removed from the spin you have put on them. The truth is simple and blindly obvious when viewed in the context of the thread that screenshot was lifted from, but once again, carry on creating a myth. If you ever want to discuss the truth I am more than happy to admit fault where it lies, and explain the reality of what occurred in both the UJA crisis and in the now infamous screenshots.

You'd be surprised what some of us at Citadel would have an open mind about.

  4. Rest assured that the bullets TOP riddled Polar with were made in Paradoxia.

TOP and it's allies had their own justifiable reasons for war with Polar that had nothing to do with Pacifica. To try and insinuate differently is simply dishonest.

(click on my sig if you need a reminder)

The actions may have had nothing to do with Pacifica, but discounting the fact your government and the government of the rest of the 'coalition' would have not moved square one in this conflict had the not NPO permitted, regardless of the OoO, directly involves them. For that matter your justifications stem from over a year ago, and have to do with simple trolling, yet there has been no present action on the NpO's part to destabilize or politically threaten/isolate TOP. The war was simply over egos, between one currently in power and one who wasn't even in the alliance at the time, one side had more guns at it's disposal, the opportunity to strike and took it. Polaris being politically isolated itself was and is no threat to TOP or anyone for that matter; all this action has been done now is to make them more of a potential threat in the future if they ever are allowed to rebuild. So good job for accomplishing nothing but potentially making mortal enemies.

  5. I think Doitzel summarized the point of this thread rather well with simply: lol GGA.

Such a silly thing to get caught doing anyhow, in addition to thinking you could even begin to trust YM to not bring anything out into the world at large, someone must have been having an off day to say the least.

Though this is an odd turn of events, most alliances don't actively encourage espionage upon them.

  6. We will achieve peace when our allies do. It'd probably come along a lot faster if we were not told we had to change our government to reach any peace deal.

It seems some in the Coalition believe they have a mandate for regime change or they'll "make us the next FAN".

Defending your allies via a treaty and acting with honour and integrity is something to be heavily punished for in the minds of some.

Personal grudges in a game are rather sad, doubly so when the people having the grudges held against are honorable members of the community.
