New quick question from a noob....(before this gest closed out and my question is related to this somewhat): I bought a bunch of soldiers: let's say 2,000 (actual count; not modified). Someone told me I had too many for my size, so I decreased to 1,000 soldiers. Why didn't these 1,000 ex-soldiers become working citizens? My population didn't increase - my supporting population lost 1,000. What -- did I execute these soldiers? Sent them away? Shouldn't they have returned to my work force?

I really like this question and the answers. Someone with time on their hands and the expertise should put up such a list...all little details like this make the game that much more interesting. I also would like to see the tank selection expanded (you can pick between different aircraft...there are many tanks out there, too.....but that's a different subject).

I've seen this, studied it...maybe I don't have enough tech or something else.......but no matter how much money I have...when I reached 999 infra...the game still only allowed me to buy 10 infra at a time, even though I had enough cash to buy as much as I wanted. The game has always only allowed me to buy 10 infra at a time - the max purchase in any transaction. So I end up typing in +10 - making the transaction....repeat...repeat...over and over again. Maybe I'm not smart! Anyway...I'm now over the 1k infra mark.

I now remember one of the guys that offered me a computer a couple months ago..if I get the info on it..and message you at your nation with the info, and if you'd be interested in this free, fairly new computer...if I packaged it safely, and mailed it to you, would you, upon receipt, send me cash to pay only for the mailing and insurance to ship it to you?

I don't know if you live in a town or city, or how big it is...or out in the woods...most US cities, and some towns, have computer groups, with places to meet - they do just that...and play RPG... I get one or 2 people a year that want to GIVE me computers that are fairly new and would work CN...my brother once threw away a perfectly good computer...sad..maybe go to your library's reader board and post a note that you are looking for a computer..or other places in town... just thoughts......

Obviously you all see I'm new. I got lucky actually growing up on a farm near timber. So I picked lumber and wheat off the bat. Anyway...this topic and discussion have been extremely useful for me - spending 5 hours a day on forums trying to learn everything I can. Thanks to all those who have posted tips. Very informative. (Beer is going to be my bonus - of course)
