Look at the number of days the war has been going on - more then enough to exhaust even the most prepared nuclear stockpile. Is CnG, Sparta, and the rest of the vast coalition facing TOP still taking damage? The vast majority of TOP members can also buy two nukes per day. Lets say, of those, one gets blocked and one gets through. The TOP member will (eventually) suffer no serious losses aside from tech (the infra at 1,000 costing a trivial amount) while the coalition losses infra worth multi-millions of dollars. The longer you wait to offer TOP reps of any sort of reasonable amount, the less reason we have to accept them.

3 months of high intensity warfare? You do realize that would be the most destructive war of all time, and by the point I doubt their would be much left of either side, right?

If all of the above is true, and it truly was a "breakdown in communications" as opposed to a trap, AND you let TOP and IRON take the major fall for the war you started (not to mention if it is true that you "encouraged" them to attack CnG)- well then you are some cold hearted SOBs, and if I would be very worried on your part for gaining a short term tactical draw for a long term strategic (diplomatic) cluster$%&@. I don't have a dog in the fight, but the implications of the above would seem obvious.

There is no way in hell the INITIAL polar declaration was all part of an elaborate "trap" to get at TOP/IRON, and it is idiotic to think so. However, I do believe that Archon saw TOP/IRON committing a huge (and incredibly ironic considering how they entered into GWII - old TOP members will know what I'm talking about) blunder, and took advantage of the opportunity at hand.
