  1. Congrats MHA, glad I was able to experience 2 of those years.
  2. This certainly looks familiar. Glad to see you stand up for what you believe in ODN.
  3. I wish IRON the best in this matter but the reality is that the guys who took part in the DDOS are going to get away with it IRL. DDOS attacks (and pretty much any other computer related crime) are only a felony if it causes $5,000 or more in damages. If it isn't a felony they're not going to bother tracking all these guys down, it takes them more time and money than it's worth. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_Fraud_and_Abuse_Act
  4. 181 nations with an average strength of 581, wait make that 182. It's a little odd that the majority of these nations have been created in the last 24 hours and all have almost identical stats. Either jarheads have a ton of friends IRL who follow a strict guideline on how to setup their nations or they're up to something.
  5. People get pissed when they are spied on, you know this and expect this. Still, you probably did more damage to your cause than to us with that leak. So putting it under a microscope for all the world to see would help it go forward? You did reveal it to the general populace, in a way that showed you supported the move and under the context that it was an anti NPO bloc. Again, this would not be the thing to do to ease people into the idea of getting involved. The NPO and everyone involved obviously knew about it, so why even post it in the first place? There is really no incentive to do so other than to show off your spy network and someone getting a basic membership in an alliance isn't mind boggling. If you believe this then why do you bother? It seems like a waste of effort if all of the drama conjured up from these spy threads doesn't have any effect on the real(cyber) world
  6. TWiP is entertaining as hell, I'll give you that. I still don't really understand the point though (in regards to Vox's goals of changing/removing NPO). There's nothing here particularly damaging or sensitive. It doesn't take a ton of effort to get a basic mask in a large alliance either so there's no benefit in showboating it. This is what Vox actually believes? The general consensus seems to be that you shot yourselves in the foot over that one. Revealing the formation of a bloc that could be considered a threat to NPO before the time was right is hardly a brilliant idea if you don't like NPO.
  7. He was probably joking, otherwise he would be under attack instead of you. Misunderstanding? You declared war on one of the best alliances in the game.
  8. I, for one, was disappointed, I thought he might have released something sensitive that would have really shaken things up. A member or two going "I don't like X alliance very much" wasn't even worth the time to read. You sure did prove them wrong. Your nation shows otherwise (lol peace mode).
  9. I've noticed that while looking at the wars going on. When a member is tech raided, some alliances send a warning message, some send a warning shot or two, Fark does a coordinated three nation assault within 6 hours. Overkill? Maybe. Effective? Hell yes.
  10. I would think that the 8BR would have more value in TE since wars are much more frequent. Plus since your nation doesn't grow as large, the population bonuses probably don't have the same impact as happiness and increased income. You have to buy your own tech so the cost decrease there is also significant.
  11. That was one hell of a war, glad that MI and judgment worked things out.
