  1. Good to see this. Congrats folks.
  2. Happy to see this. Congratulations to both of these fine alliances. Umlauts for the win!
  3. Ground up and in the freezer? I know that's true for most of us... Congrats to TOP and GOONS on the treaty. I wondered if this was coming.
  4. This tie makes nothing but sense to me. Congrats you two.
  5. Nice to see you doing well, Max. Congrats on the promotion!
  6. Well, this is pretty cool. It's a pleasant surprise, to say the least. Congrats to both of you.
  7. If you think that one's bad (which to be fair, I haven't seen it so I can't judge this one properly), then you haven't watched very many super hero movies. I'm one of those people that will watch pretty much anything once, and from my experiences with super hero movies, most of them are pretty terrible.
  8. Yeah, I noticed that. I won't complain about seeing both of us on that list somewhere. Something about it just feels right. By the way, it is a rather interesting (albeit, unofficial) rebuilding race our two aa's have going. I've noticed the alliance with the higher ANS keeps switching every few days.
  9. I suppose I can contribute a little something since there seem to be a few other alliances speaking for us at the moment. To say that we don't care about an ally of ours is an overstatement. Our coalition came first. After all, DT entered the war to defend an ally (along with a couple of our other allies). It's understood that if another ally of ours ends up on the opposite side of things, they are going to be taking damage from someone in our coalition. It would be foolish of us to defend them for the sake of honor when it would be detrimental to our own cause for engaging in the war. If NoR would have started getting dog-piled and requested our help, we definitely would have gone to lengths to help them. It most likely would not have come in the form war (unless absolutely necessary), as the engagements on the NoR front were in the upper tiers, meaning we would have been fighting both coalitions' upper tiers at that point (and again, completely counterproductive to our initial cause... also really masochistic). To say the least, TOP, DBDC, and company were giving us our money's worth in those ranges, anyway. Having said that, NoR never did come to us, so it seems they must have been doing ok. And again, congratulations, IRON. Obviously, DT can sympathise with cancelling a treaty that has run its' course.
  10. Good to see you guys get together. Congrats on the merger.
  11. Too much Czar. Nope, we finally took care of that one. Congrats to the returning and newly elected!
  12. Pretty difficult not to like this; nothing but quality in this treaty. Congrats to our allies in GLoF and friends in Sengoku.
  13. Glad to see this become official. DRN are good people.
  14. Didn't see this coming; congrats to both of you.
  15. Glad to see this become official. GLOF have been outstanding allies and AB is a solid group that have steadily gone up on my list. It's been a pleasure getting to know them better. \o/ It's good.
  16. Best of luck moving forward. Very classy move on TOP's part extending a lengthy protection. Perhaps this will be the move that gets OG moving in the right direction.
  17. Good luck out there, TORN. It was good while it lasted.
  18. Good looking treaty here. Congrats to our friends in Sengoku and Aurora Borealis!
  19. Yeah... I remember my first nation... honestly don't remember the name of the second... they got deleted at 2 days and 0 days old, respectively. On a completely unrelated note, I used to have an alliance with several friends and friends of friends. It was good fun for a couple years, as most of us stuck around for a while. At our peak there were about 20 of us (out of 25 in our alliance) that all knew each other. It made the few small skirmishes we got in to a blast. It's pretty awesome when 80% of your alliance members have the ability to call each other, much less find a way to coordinate. It got to the point (pathetically enough) that Cybernations became a frequent topic at parties and social gatherings. We even started having barbeques for the sole purpose of discussing alliance matters. We barely had a reason to have a forum (which was rarely used) and most of us, sans maybe a couple, never bothered with IRC. Time has taken it's toll, however. It's down to just me and one of my other buddies as the last digital references to those days. DT has been a good home to us, though. Hindsight being what it is, even though we were already a DT protectorate, we should have talked more in those days... and for that matter, Symphony too (another DT protectorate at the time). Anyway, sorry for the small wall of text in your thread here Farns, especially considering you've probably read similarly worded paragraphs before.
  20. Always nice to see an announcement from AB. Congrats on the new charter and lineup!
