Yes, I do know what the so-called problem with "poaching" is, and if I recall correctly it was established years ago that it is never a valid CB. If an alliance's members can be lured away a mere message then the alliance was probably never that good to begin with. Do not try to lay blame for IRON's pitiful state at NG's feet.

Also, you're "but what about my infra" nonsense demonstrates exactly what is wrong with IRON and every other major alliance left in this world. This is the end, whether you recognize it or not. There is no higher purpose coming. You all have become so enamored with your infrastructure you wouldn't dare risk it unless the odds were 20 to 1 in your favor, as this "war" demonstrates. That you are all allied to each other ensures that nightmare scenario will never come to pass, leaving you to collect taxes and pay bills in peace until all is dark.

Going out with a whimper suits you.

Can tell you've been out of the loop for SO long. Don't know if you've ever fought at the top end. But infrastructure literally means nothing anymore, you fight in a war this level you're almost bound to lose all your infra, but we have so much money at this stage it's not even anything to be even be slightly concerned about.

Poaching is a complete myth when deconstructed as RV has done, it is an imaginary offense based upon two things:
    1) An excuse to launch wars.
    2) In the current era, as an act of desperation to retain your tiny share of the dwindling membership base, by threatening war against not only any nation that leaves, but the entire alliance they join.

"Poaching" as an offense against sovereignty, is and always has been a myth since the dawn of this world.

A lot of things in this game are a "myth" as you want to describe. And a lot of those myths are the norm we have all played this game with, useless argument imo

Care to explain further how just those words count as poaching, especially considering how you "love Caustic"?  Why not give us *all* the words?

For the one you asked that to, probably until either the heat death of the universe or until someone else gets backstabbed.  Samus tends to fight "winning" wars only, you see.

i've fought more losing wars than you, but ok lol

So IRON members are free to leave, yet you have a problem with so-called "poaching"? How does that work? Does Caustic have some sort of magic touch that eliminates any sort of free will your members might have to force them to join Non Grata? Does the choice to remain in IRON require complete ignorance of any other more exciting opportunities out there? How then were you able to resist?

You've been here a long time, you very well know what the idea of poaching or attempted poaching is, your ignorance is showing again RV.

Don't understand how getting your nation - you've spent years building - rolled into the dirt for literally absolutely no gain whatsoever, don't get at all how that's "An ExCiTiNg OpPoRtUnItY" lmao, but each to their own.

If I was to ever go rogue, there would have to be a higher purpose, not because of a temporary "LoL bOrEd" feeling

Poaching is a valid CB, but again, I asked who he tried to post?

Don't be blind to the facts please.

You know very well the CURRENT IRON members he tried to poach, including myself. Literally his own words, "I present choices".

Like I love Caustic, he's always been my guy from way early in our IRON-NG good days and I can see all he literally genuinely wanted to do was bring life back into CN, but realistically he went about it too wrong.

The government, well they are really taking it hard that people are leaving and the best excuse they have is that caustic poached them-

it's the reality sadly, but if you want to stay in fairy land and make up things in your head be my guest.

IRON members are free to leave if they want, it's not the best thing, but ultimately it's their choice.

Caustic poached several members, and attempted to poach several more including myself, so I can bare witness to that.

So, my question is this, directed to ODN specifically. How can you stand with alliances such as IRON, and FTW, who openly want to see you destroyed, and were happy when NG launched attacks against you? Specifically concerning messages posted below, It don't exactly look good on the alliances within a mutual Coalition are pleased with NG attacks on ODN. The first is with Samus a key figure in IRON leadership sharing his feelings on ODN in relation to a member leaving and "roguing" ODN, which most of IRON shares these sentiments. The second is with Fury who is also known as Kaznawim of FTW with the rank of War Archon. After a personal DM request over NG's first declaration on ODN, he agreed with my opinion of ODN, and ultimately showing some visible sense of gratitude in seeing us hit them, specifically OS being in anarchy.

How can you all stand on the foundation of lies you have built yourselves up on? You come together for the reletively minor perceived threat of Non Grata, while neglecting the fact that there will be a day when your members will suffer more as a result of your two-faced treaties and friendships. You congratulate one another now for fighting a good fight, while simeltaneously wishing the other burns in private DM's and public channels.

With that said, I am proud the last of my days in this universe will be spent with individuals who have always told the truth, always steadfast by their allies... some of whom attack us now. Individuals who put a greater value on their friendships than the value of their nations. There is without a doubt we are the last of our kind, and will go out proud. I look forward to facing The Coalition of the Spineless. For those who want first dibs on my nation I will be coming out of PM the day I hit 25 nukes, my war-chest is approximately 6Bil, and my treaty partners are all members of NG, with semi-decent ranking generals, if you need additional information, don't hesitate to send me a DM, or ask here. I afford you this luxury of not having to waste your money gathering intel, but purchasing more troops.

Sorry, I was so blinded by the !@#$tiness of your meme that I didn't realize there was a caption. It's funny you should say that, because it seems that SNX has been paying for it.

We declared war officially on 7/7, the 12th anniversary of the London bombings. I also just really like the number 7. It happens to be my number of wives/camels. I went to Lyricalz and adjusted the timescape from 7/7 to the present. To estimate the total aid received, what I did was I took each entry's aid received and tech sent. I set a standard tech rate of 9/100. If a nation received aid, but sent no tech, I assumed it to be war aid. If a nation both received aid and sent tech, I considered $9 million for every 100 tech sent to be a tech deal, with the excess being war aid. The figures I arrived at for both alliances was that SNX received $693 million in war aid over this time period while AM only received $288 million. Now inevitably, this method will also catch some tech deals in mid-progress. Ones where cash has been received, but tech is not yet sent. The true number is lower. I will put my educated estimate at approximately $650 million for SNX's war aid received and $250 million for AM. You're sucking back aid at around 2.6 times the rate we are. And considering this conflict didn't even really heat up until a couple weeks ago, throwing $650 million down the crapper in such a short time is rather impressive. What were you saying about attrition?

    You smart

You literally are in the hegemony, I don't think you get to !@#$%* about the hegemony, and if you have problems with it, start plotting, use your position to your advantage,

We're not the ones forcing reps upon beaten down opponents or overriding an alliances membership conditions.

    EDIT:

Actually I misread the terms completely. Didn't realise the reps were going back to Sparta's fighting nations.

On review that's actually a good set of terms.

    Accept my apologies.

    Good war.

    Stay out of peace mode.

Extra server load, lots of mismatched certificates and extra dollars means more headaches for whoever is maintaining the server.

HTTPS is security theater for the masses.

    lmao this isn't 2010.

HTTPS is an essential in todays web standards.

Extra server load? You mean that extreme delay of 22 milliseconds?

    Mismatched certificates? Huh?

Extra dollars? in 2017 you can get HTTPS for FREE.

All of my sites have it be default, here's a screeny from lyricalz

@Samus There is something I am curious about, I was wondering whether it was possible to compile from your data a list of the most destructive wars of all time? You have destruction stats for most wars within the last couple of years, but the only way to make them into a list would be manually go through all destruction history, which is difficult as it is hard to predict who may have particularly destructive wars.

Would it be possible to make a list of all recorded wars based on total destruction?

    yeah i'll do that soon

    @Samus

I noticed that the war data screen only shows the 100 most recent wars of a nation, if a nation has more than 100 wars then prior wars are not shown. For example: https://cybernations.lyricalz.com/index.php/war?nation1=323642&nation2= , Cuba is stated to have 161 wars recorded, but if you search for "cubaquerida" it is found 103 times; 3 times at the top, and once for each war shown. Is there any way to see older wars for nations with more than 100?

    done
