We were notified as soon as he was expelled from TOP and he was put on our ZI list. During that time he applied to multiple alliances and each time we approached gov of that alliance and explained that he was on our ZI list and that if he came out of peace mode we would carry out his sentence. I can assure you that no matter who he tried to join we would have done the same thing. Technically we attacked him while he was in an alliance but only because of... well, peace mode.

[/quote] Because he hadn't shown us his true colors yet. As for personal vendetta, if it makes you feel better, think of our single ZI sentence (thats all we sentenced) as him paying what he owed. It was not our intention to drive him from the game, that is completely up to him. Any opinions that we're better off without him are just that, personal opinions, and are not what Athens as an IC entity believes.

One of my favorite parts of these tournaments are the people that come and QQ about it being biased.

He tried with Exodus, SUN and AB (maybe more) and each time, we approached their gov and explained our position. There were few problems (PMoses lol) and for the most part, Panfilo consistently lied on his applications. His exodus one was particularly funny. Well you see, after he left Athens we were busy [b]fighting a war[/b]. Not to mention that at the time Athens was around 500k ns (or something like that) as this was pre-mergermania.

A single ZI sentence is by no means driving him from the game and I don't see an alternative solution being necessary. If his response to facing the loss of his 10k precious infra is to sell said infra, delete his wonders and insult us in his native language in his bio then I question whether he can actually change. His response has been downright childish and I believe that people like him contribute nothing to this game other than as a statistic. I'm going to go ahead and agree with Rush here, there is absolutely nothing wrong with driving Mr. NOT AGREE WITH THIS WAR out of here. Its also interesting how few people understand the concept of non-negotiable. o/ Panfilo at ZI
