1.
Welcome to my !@#$ list, though. Don't expect to be let off lightly for this one.
I'm sure Methrage is shaking in his boots.
 2.
Terrible alliance that should disband already.
Someone's mad
 3.
Sure NPO may have loads of WRCs but many of those are in nations which have been beaten down and never rebuilt. Its upper tier is not sufficiently sizeable and it has insufficiently high tech levels to fight effectively, as wars are won in the upper tier these days. I reckon ODN could take them 1v1 now, simply due to game mechanics.
Haha! Good one! Wait... Not saying NPO is some god at war, they aren't, but I am sure they could destroy ODN in 1v1. Maybe I'll pay attention to ODN next war I guess.
 4.
Ah, calling us out on the 'tough card'. How classic. Why don't you test us for yourself? Could always forward your lovely nuclear weapons to the following address.
I just tried too, but literally none of your nations are in my range. You should increase the NS of that nation with 450 NS.
 5. Anime should be destroyed. Edit: at NsO acting all tough.
 6.
MHA should not be considered a war ready alliance. Sure, due to its size it will be a nightmare for attackers, but other than its size it has nothing. It can muster offensive wars, but not quickly. It takes a few days for MHA to get out any noticeable effort. The same is true of Sparta, to a lesser extent.
This. Maybe MHA/Sparta can prove the rest of us wrong when the numbers are against you next war.
 7.
Polaris Caring about friends I'm dying here
MK should be the last alliance complaining about Polar not caring about or defending friends.
 8.
unfortunately they are still tied to pacifica
You're right. They should cancel with NPO when NPO is about to get rolled. Kind of what like LoSS did. o/ Polaris
 9.
So, looking back on it now, are you happy with what you did? Sure, you helped topple the Empire but that Empire has been replaced by chaos and feuding lesser lords. The reps you hated have continued to go up with the buyer and the sender being the only things that changed. You created a power vacuum and two years later, we're still seeing the lesser powers fight over the spoils. So, was it worth it?
Of course it was worth it. Things are boring with the same alliance on top for two years. CN got shaken up when NPO lost power. No one should really care that MK and their lackeys have taken the helm as the "bad side" either. The ONLY reason why they should be overthrown is because they've been in power for over two years and their reign is stale. Moralists talk about how they want to destroy MK/lackeys because of the "unjustices" they've done since Karma. Oh please. Where would CN be without the "bad side". It's also clear that the Karma War was never a war for revenge. Maybe for some it was, but for most leaders of the Karma Coalition, it was merely a political war for power. Most of the Karma alliances were just as "evil" as the Hegemony coalition. ODN, MHA, Sparta, VE, RoK, and others never looked at NPO/1v in disgust when they were rolling NoVision, BLEU, and CnG in stupid wars. They rolled with them in those wars and left the sinking ship when it became clear NPO was about to get rolled. I don't know why we all believed the post-NPO world was going to some new Golden Age without "evil". We shouldn't believe it either when SF gets rolled next war. We also shouldn't believe it when MK eventually loses power. Vox was a great thing, but the only thing it did was help get NPO out of power. That was the goal of Vox and they succeeded.
 10.
I'm just surprised this has reached 11 pages or replies.
I'm not.
 11. This is really stupid and you should be rolled for it. UPN, this is a great CB for you to use.
 12.
So not the way most QnA's work, but I've always wondered a few things and this is your chance to answer them. Is Doom-House a bloc or a MDoAP? Why are NPO or MK given so much reverence in terms of their ability to fight? Why is it considered unacceptable to disband alliances? Impose huge reps? Declare war on the basis of "I don't like you" Has Sparta ever lost a war? Why was there so much animosity toward UPN in the last war?
Yes. They are both okay, but not elite. Idk. I don't mind some disbandments if it's pony/anime themed. No. They have been weasels. Because they sucked before Bipolar, but have proven themselves by fighting the whole VE-Polar War.
 13.
Peace time flag. War time flag. The Cog and Grain represent the cooperation between industrial and agrarian workers. The Red background represents the leftist movement as a whole and the star represents INT as the most prominent mainstream leftist alliance on CN. You are welcome
This wins. I would suggest something a bit simpler though. Have a plain communist red flag for peace and a plain black flag for war, when you will layeth the smackdown and anarchy everyone.
 14. At least Vox made things entertaining with TWiP and the Tattler. So did Q when they were rolling everyone and so did Polaris when Sponge rolled an alliance a week. You actually saw a lot of wars back in 2008. Now we have anime wars and pony alliances.
Question: will there be an observance to remember The Blackstone Collusion?
They helped cause the Karma War, so yes.
 15. Someone call Xiphosis and disband this alliance. Yes, I support the disbandments of many irrelevant crap, but this and SOS may top them all. Good luck
 16.
I remember Vox (I actually joined CN in April '07, in case you're wondering). They were a good alliance, steadfast and loyal to the end. I think they draw interesting parallels to today's MK, in some ways.
No they aren't. Anyways, Vox was awesome and TWiP was always fun entertainment. o/ Vox
 17. Well done Ardus. Well done. NoR, I'll laugh when you realize what a mistake you've just made. Should take awhile, but the time will come. o/ MK for being brilliant
 18. I almost forgot noCB was three years ago. How times have changed.
 19.
When I saw this thread the question, "Why does Polar still exist?" came to mind. Congrats on the treaty.
Because they do interesting stuff unlike 90% of other alliances. Congrats on the treaty TOP/VE.
 20. I don't see how this is a smart move for VE considering TOP and GOD are bound to be on the opposite sides. Yes, I realize it's only an ODP, but I feel it would've been better if you waited until the war ended.
 21. Kevin Kolb for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and 2nd Round pick Great trade. Kolb has a lot of potential, but he is unproven. He definitly can end up being a solid QB, but the Eagles already have a pro-bowler in Michael Vick. The Eagles big weakness last year was their secondary. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is a pro-bowl cover CB who is proven, unlike Kolb. He will definitly help the Eagles defense this year, especially with the much improved secondary. The Second Round draft pick was a steal imo. Before the trade, the Cardinals were bluffing with a trade for Kyle Orton to lower the price. The Eagles called that bluff and got a 2nd rounder for it. Signing of Jason Babin Jasosn Babin had 12.5 sacks last season with the Titans and made his first pro-bowl. Another problem in the Eagles defense was the rush to the QB. Besides Trent Cole, the Eagles Defensive line was terrible. With Jasosn Babin, Trent Cole, and quality players like Juquae Parker, the Eagles Defensive End dephth chart is looking really good. One factor that isn't being talked about is the hiring of former Titans Defensive Line coach Jim Washburn. Each team Washburn coaches, the Defensive line who plays for him get a huge amount of sacks. Should be nice to finally see the Eagles put pressure on the QB for once. Signing of Nnamndi Asomugha What can I say? When the Eagles signed the best cover corner in the league in Nnnamdi Asomugha, I couldn't believe it. Throughout the week it was reported the Asomugha would sign on with the New York Jets or even the Dallas Cowboys. With Asomugha signing with Philadelphia, it gives the Eagles the best secondary in the league. Nnamdi Asomugha, Asante Samuels, and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie are there to shut down every QB and WR in the league. One of the reasons the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl was because of the threat of their passing game. The Eagles now have a counter to that in Asomugha, Samuel, and Rogders-Cromartie. Signing of Cullen Jenkins Adding to the defense again, the Eagles signed DT Cullen Jenkins away from the Packers. Now the Eagles D-Line consists of Trent Cole, Jason Babin, Cullen Jenkins, and Antonio Dixon. With Jim Washburn and his reputation for building Defensive lines, the addition of Cullen Jenkins will definity play an important part in his scheme. He had 7 sacks last season for the Packers which is excellant for the DT. He is also strong in stopping the running game which the Eagles were weak against in the last few seasons. Signing of Steve Smith The Eagles offense already consists of Michael Vick, Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Lesean McCoy, Brent Celeck, Ronnie Brown, and Jason Avant. With Steve Smith signing with the Eagles, this makes the team a top 5 offense. Not only that, this takes Steve Smith away from the division rival New York Giants. Eli Manning has lost Steve Smith and Kevin Boss this offseason. He now has limited targets to throw to which is a plus to Eagles, Cowboys, and Redskins fans. Steve Smith caught 112 passes in 2009 and is a gutsy player. He is expected to return to the field by late September/early October. Should be interesting to see how he performs. Overall Grade: A+ Easily the best offseason I have seen the Eagles do. They finished 10-6 last season and they are now even more stronger. They have covered the holes on defense, though lineback remains a question with rookie Casey Matthews(brother of Clay) leading the linebacker core. If I had to predict, I'd guess the Eagles will get anywhere from 11 to 13 wins. They have a pretty easy road to at least winning the NFC East, but that isn't the goal. The signings/trade of Nnamdi Asomugha, Cullen Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Jason Babin, and Steve Smith are designed for one thing and that is to win a Super Bowl. Obviously the NFC will be a tough test with the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears, but for the first time since 2004, it looks like the Eagles can finally get passed the NFC and into the Super Bowl. Should be a fun season.
