1. Sept 2012 is when tayloj "left" Umbrella and started the DBDC AA. Realistically DBDC proper probably started around March 2013 i.e. after the EQ surrender where most of us went back to the Umb/MK/etc AA's. It probably really came to life around Sept 2013 after l0c0 started his raiding and MK disbanded. Although I just re-read the post where TB fleshed out his ideas for a "proper" DBDC post-EQ back in Feb 2013 so I guess around then might be more fitting.
2. First war was against VE in the Green Civil War. All I really recall is the disappointment of logging on to find out I'd been quad attacked at update by my opponents when, living in the GMT timezone, I could never be on at update. I seem to recall that quad attacks where a lot more devastating back in '07 especially when every war seemed to have a no nuke policy.
3. I feel like I recall a better pip that was more suited to CN players which should have won the vote.
4. I've got my go to CN playlist set up in windows media player 9. Before commencing my attacks I'll dim the lights, sit up straight, listen to this whilst I empty my mind and practice some breathing exercises. Then when I'm ready to attack I'll load up my playlist which includes the likes of: Drowning Pool - Bodies Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff Rammstein - Du Hast Disturbed - Stricken Godsmack - I Stand Alone Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries
5. Here's hoping we fair better than Darkfall under his stewardship :v:
6. Essentially what your saying is that it's "can we set them back more than they set us back in the process of doing it". And "can we afford to be set back this much in order to set them back that much". From memory it's probably one of the first wars where this has been the main goal and driving force. It's also one which is extremely hard to measure in it's successfulness, and one that you can't even conclude measuring whilst the war continues or even into the pursuing months post-war. This war isn't simply won by destroying more tech than you have destroyed yourself, but also in rebuilding that tech faster post-war or else you've set yourself further back than was necessary evidently. As the war moves from the first phase in the upper tier, and the curve in destruction / time set back trends downwards for those upper tier nations being "pulled down" into the "meat grinder", it now begins to drastically trend upwards for those now facing these tech heavy nations. The question that then arises here is how far can the middle tiers, and lower tiers afford to be set back in trying to set back these pulled down nations?
7. Good luck NATO. Those guys can usually use the help.
8. I'm sure anyone who has played this game for any lengthy period of time recalls using MFO prior to alliances building their own internal nation calculators etc,
9. BN were always a pleasure to work with right from the start. Later little bros.
10. [Apr 07 - Dec 07] NPO - Left due to several differences with policy etc, and boredom of being in a mass alliance. [Dec 07 - Jan 08] TOP - Expelled. [Jan 08 - Feb 08] None - Was under ZI from NPO. [Feb 08 - Dec 08] MK - Left with a few others who all wanted a changed of scenery. [Dec 08 - Present] Umbrella - Tech.Rules.Everything.Around.Me

14.
August 26, 2008 --- Umbrella: 10.71 ---------- Add Line: N/A --> 10.67 (N/A) --- Umbrella passes the Add Line Commentary As a result of this, I'm glad to welcome (and re-welcome) Umbrella and the North Atlantic Defense Coalition to the race.
Just shy of four years from entering the race, we're finally on the verge of sanction.
15.
hmm, so if VE loses another 5 nations, will this be the first time that there have only been 11 alliances eligible for sanction ?
Fairly sure it may have happened before, which is when the nation count for sanction was dropped down to 200 from 300(?). Probably time to drop it down again to 150, or drop the number of sanction spots.
