  1. a tip: don't kill your trades until everyone in your circle agrees on it, otherwise you will be left without trades for a while. you may have killed wheat or fish, big pop. boosters on your nation
  2. its all up to admin now to uncap GRL on CN's 1000 day birthday now but how will environment calculations be adjusted for 25 environment? AFAIK it only goes to 11
  3. Using admin's sample image... just find the guy that's buying a donation and click that link
  4. as I see it, one could just be creating two nations, then going over to his brother's house every few days to send his main some dough, so its not a bad system, you can still profit by playing fair and not cheating you can check your ip address here at :http://www.lawrencegoetz.com/programs/ipinfo/
  5. http://www.lawrencegoetz.com/programs/ipinfo/ use that site, it tells your own IP address or start up CMD in your computer and type: "ipconfig", it will show your settings
  6. i'm pretty sure he's reached his daily troop purchase, you can only purchase a limited number of troops a day, wait until tomorrow to buy the rest
  7. actually you're wrong assuming the factories take 8% off infra bills, where it says "initial purchase cost" that means up front when you buy the improv if you want something for taxes buy a labour camp Labor Camp - $150,000.00 - Reduces infrastructure upkeep costs -10%, reduces population happiness -1. if your taxes are over 300k at your infra level, you're in desperate need of these, don't think of the -1 happiness to be much, on your taxes you would only be short $0.56 per person, but in bills you'd pay 30k less, it pays for itself in 5 days
  8. both FAC and MI are basically useless, MI is an acceptable choice after all other happiness wonders are gone, but definately don't go for it as your first, it does what a stadium does and costs exorbitantly more. FAC is useless as you have to pressure an aid partner to buy it as well, and then only money has a raised cap. fallout shelter can be equally as useless if you're not in any nuclear wars
  9. the nuclear anarchy reduction is also quite attractive, if you have radiation cleanp then its a dual bonus, leaving only 3 days of NA but sadly it has no other purpose, so if you are one of those nations that never gets attacked and probably never will, then you should go for ADP, because it helps you economically, and gives you a fair chunk of already expensive land (when you hit 3k land, its like an extortion for your money)
  10. land is a VERY large factor in counter-espionage operations as it can give the second biggest bonus next to tech e.g both sides have similar numbers, but defender has lots of land attacker: 50 spies 1000 tech 50+50=100 esionage points defender: 50 spies(also maxed) 800 tech 3500 land 50+40+50=140 in this case the defender wins, even if he was in low threat level(140-35=105=win) land is GOOD, you don't pay for upkeep on land either, all the free people "live off the land" and generate pure income. back to our friend tom then, assume he has ADP, then with 9000 land he has gotten 4500 free citizens, even without ADP the same land numbers generate 1800 free citizens, and unless "land tax" is implemented, tom has a nice wave to ride away on.
  11. actually, you are wrong about the happiness bonuses for GT and GM, GT gives 5 base, but since the citizens automatically want it, it becomes 6, a $12 increase, while GM can either be a $10 or $12 increase, but it can also give -5% infra cost, +5% land, and upkeep reductions, so both are equally viable options for a wonder choice
  12. actually, it not wise to set your taxes above 23% when your citizens make less than $20, the happiness penealty will knock you back to $16 per citizen, and make them go like
  13. you should have included SSS, allows us to over-charge our citizens out of their fair earnings  but I went with fallout shelter because it helps stop a nuke-n' charge tactic, thereby leaving your country ripe for the picking
  14. they sure are pampering the children perhaps they should give us our well-deserved $49,500 now?
  15. to me it doesn't seem worth it for such a meager increase of $3.00 for possibly sacrificing another bonus resource. unless literacy rate becomes useful somewhere else, or if the requirement for scholars is reduced, I don't see this as a very useful bonus
  16. I think it means the GU takes effect when you have more than 200 tech, when it takes effect, it adds up the original 200 for the ride too(just my assumption, I don't have it yet) 3000*0.2%=600%=6 happiness bonus
