1. STA isn't truly mad. We just find the idea of coalition warfare completely idiotic. Why have treaties when all you need is to roll with one side who will fight with you regardless of whether or not you are treatied with them? STA is an alliance that stands by their treaty partners. What annoys us is how alliances that are not even allied to NADC came to their aid due to coalition needs rather than helping their allies. We understood that helping TPF wouldn't be comfortable, but we also can't understand the idea of not helping our allies and instead oA'ing on a completely unrelated front. The anger some people might have seen directed toward Polar was because it was assumed they called the shots and made some people declare on us. That wasn't really the case, but we still think that disregarding treaty partners is ludicrous.
2. Thanks for joining TTK, I hope you have as much fun as we will.
3. Thanks for both the answered question and the URL segment.
4. Odd question, thought this was the best place for it as it deals with the Mars Wonders. If my Mars Base expires, will my Mars Colony and Mars Mine also expire (as you need the base to have the colony or mine)? I don't want to pay for another Mars Mine if it's just going to expire a hundred days after I get it. And would that technically allow me to have both Moon and Mars wonders if I switch over when the Mar Base expires? It's never been completely clear to me about how the wonders expire.
5.
I've given you plenty of screenshots, allowed an outsider to remotely access my computer, and lack an MO for faking logs. I've said time and time again that spacing in a Facebook message is hardly consistent. Regardless, that's in the past and my own alliance had suspended the trial for a lack of evidence to convict, thus innocence of the accused is the default. And it rather disgusts me that you would push for the public airing of said trial information before the alliance could work things out internally. Some ally you've been.
When your alliance disbands rather than go through a trial, that looks far more like a coverup than innocence. The OWF doesn't act under a presumption of innocence; for some reason you think a guilty trial outcome is the only thing that allows players to call you dirty. When the only "proof" I\we see of innocence is your word that a friend accessed your computer, don't fault us for thinking you are covering your behind.
6. I guess I do think that Polaris may be wise to try to renegotiate peace terms. But at the same time, you really can't expect help when you openly threaten alliances not even involved. Attack STA and there's another alliance who you need to negotiate with. But you show no remorse for your deeds, which are outright stupid. While you'd love to think that your arguments are perfectly rational, you seem to forget that you began this escapade by attacking other alliances without provocation and only after this completely irrational action did you come to your senses and decide that you weren't willing to accept the consequences. Ask for forgiveness and maybe someone will start listening to you a bit. Otherwise stop posting as you obviously don't care about getting peace and are just doing this for the attention.
7.
Oh shut up, I've lost more in this one war than you've ever owned in your puny nation's lifetime, don't lecture me about consequences. I'd say losing 8 billion dollars worth of stuff for a rogue attack where I wanted peace after 1 day is extreme enough. Is your open invitation to attack STA still valid? See, I don't want you to whine about reparations and consequences later when you explicitly asked for it.
Come at me bro.
8. Thanks for proving for me that when you go nuke rogue, you'll never be relevant ever again.
9. Good luck all (especially mi amiga Kestral) on the new positions. Looks like Manny is finally getting the retirement he's been waiting forever for.
10.
You know the NPO cannot support you on one side and TLR/GATO/NG on the other. This is why I asked you to stay out. I understand your want, but this is the wrong move. We, NPO, put out our statement. This would allow our allies to stay on a side, even if it meant staying out. Simply put, as you already know, I am disappointed. Not because you are doing what you want, but because you are falling into a death trap that could be avoided. Directly you have caused us to have two M levels in the same conflict.
If you didn't want to get into this circumstance, you probably shouldn't have posted what you did. That, or maybe you should have managed your treaties a bit more carefully so that you didn't get into this position. I feel no pity for you when you dug the hole yourself.
11. As I was in TLR back at its founding, I'm glad to see you at your birthday. Have fun in the war guys.
12. Za Sibir'! Onwards and upwards!
13.
Nice job guys. Most of our members don't leave Siberia so I posted on our forums with link, hopefully you will get a few more listeners.
I can confirm the truth of this statement. If you feel the need to add more Country music to your variety, give me a holler.
