I see @admin has no response to this lol. As a donor, I guess I'll just have to reconsider future donations. If rules or rather "spirit of rules" are not going to be uniformly enforced.

@admin-- I hate agreeing with FL. But given that you've passed judgement on nations engaging in similar activities early in the round, it can only be seen as favoritism if the rules are applied in such a one-sided manner. Especially when in neither case the rules were explicitly broke, but rather it was just not within the "intent" of the rule. I'd like to second FL's request -- hopefully, it'll mean more if more than one person asks.

@Sabcat - Just want to say good fight man. While post-"surrender" was a bit of a garbage shoot alliance wide, the first scrap we had was epic. You handedly beat me when you built up after admin gave me the TE donations haha. Still probably the most fun war I had... Some of the UCR folks gave me some entertainment too -- @Wobblies and I appreciate how hard @bolivar tried despite being totally broke. To the full time turtles... well you suck lol. I blame you for letting @kerschbs retake 13th in casualties from me! Either way, it was fun all. -AA

Greetings valiant foes, In the spirt of the holidays and as is tradition, the Alpha Wolves are willing to offer truce to any nations that seek to take the time off and spend time with families instead of locked in bitter conflict. Our proposed dates of peace are from December 24th through January 2 with no attacks or out of war spy operations from update on 23/24 to update 1/2. Special Message to D1: Unfortunately, HG seems to have decided not to honor truces and in fact refuses to accept truce at all. So with that in mind, we'll leave it up to the individual nations. While our two alliances will remain officially at war, those D1 nations that want to take the time off can message us and we will not attack those nations, and will treat them as neutral parties even if other D1 nations continue to war. Lol grudges aside, which btw I hold none... I'm not that invested in this game to hold grudges. Like you say, I'm just here to play for the small group I've played with for so many years. I'd love how you didn't actually address any of my actual comments/points/facts and instead re-directed again HAHAH. I didn't say you attacked us on Day 7. What I said was that our attack on day 7 is not unprecedented, because conceptually and what you were implying is that a day 7 hit is too early and one that doesn't allow for people to build up and get a fair collection before going to war. Which is exactly what you did by declaring before building and then building and hitting with IRS and other dirty ops when we hadn't built at all. This may have been on day 10+, I don't remember. But it was the meta at the time, and it was an extremely dirty move lol. In terms of truce time frames... "a new rule AW is trying to bring into the game" how and why? You're the ones that violated truce? You're the ones complaining that we're hitting too hard and commiting "atrocities". If you're not willing to accept truce how and why is that our fault? Am I missing something here? In terms of SToR... again they hit us. They continued to spy out of war, which is what led us to attack them. Idk what else to say about that. They asked you to intervene, because they're D2 and you accepted because you're D1. In doing so you violated our peace terms. Not sure how any of that is on us again. "Biggest D1, HG hater for years..." Um for the longest time I had nothing but respect for D1. I loved having you guys as an enemy because you were always a tough opponent. I still enjoy it haha. Again all I don't like is the false accusations, shifting of blame, and other things that don't hold water haha. I think you're confusing me with someone else mate. In terms of you personally, well... yeah you lost all credibility with me as you continued to implement dirtier and dirtier tactics. Violating established gentlements agreements, and then blaming us for why you resorted to those tactics. The hypocrisy you bring when those same tactics are used against you... :shrug: Again, I'd be interested in your specific counter points/arguments to indicate why you're right and I am wrong. SO far you've failed to even address my points, which I can only assume means you don't have a good counter argument lol. Lol the level of salt in this thread is marvelous.... yet I take issue with some things here. HG is misrepresenting the facts... and actually for that matter so is SToR. Firstly - our attack on day 7 was not unprecedented at all. Do you remember declaring on us when we had ZI and were still waiting to build and collect? You declared, built up, collected, and then proceeded to IRS and dirty spy ops us before we event built to mess up or collection. Secondly - you talk about peace and how we're continually pounding on D1 this round... do you remember that you VIOLATED the terms of our peace agreement? Tehol specifically highlighted when war could begin (AFTER UPDATE) on a specific date. You hit us before update with a double tap. Bunnet would like to point out it was only 15 minutes earlier than specified. But that makes a huge difference. If we though there was a chance you'd hit us before update we'd have made different decisions. If you hit us 15 minutes later it's only 2GAs which has limited risk of Anarchy and majorly affecting our collections. And the higher likelyhood of the attacks occuring the following pre-update. In which case we might've hit you first, splitting fireteams. Third - We offered you peace for this war, which you declared on us (reminder). You DECLINED and stated you wouldn't allow us to set the pace. So we re-declared as soon as our wars expired... because you denied peace. Fourth- We didn't pick a fight with SToR.... they picked it with us. OUT OF WAR spy ops is what caused us to down declare on SToR. When we were asked to peace, we told them the terms. Kick out and disavow the player that is spying us during peace and we would have happily peaced out with SToR. We didn't DOW on you, you did it to us by spying. These are simply facts not opinions. Our actions were in response to specific triggers and events and we gave every opportunity to change the course of the game. I'd love to see some responses to these, directly. Not redirection or claiming other things we've done in a circular argument. What do you have to say about these specific points? Do you deny them, deny the evidence we have in screen shots? Because, I don't see how without outright denying fact you can try to shift the blame to us... You're hiding the truth from your alliance members and just sowing discontent and salt. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter to me what you say. I'll keep enjoying the game so long as a single wolf is playing the game. Winning/losing/dirty tactics don't matter to me. Just don't try to hide your toxic actions and try to pin them back on us without any evidence or proof to back up your claims.
