I found the biggest mistake people would make while I was a rogue is how they spent their aid money. I would go after people who had a lot of aid and loot it. Their alliance in turn would send them “War Aid” to help them. They would use this aid as a war chest and restock on their military only thus leaving a bunch of aid for me to loot. I was always puzzeled why they would restock on soldiers, but never build themselves up in infra? They would even attack me with low battle odds thus donating more money to me.
Military improvements seemed to help me a lot and help gain the upper hand even when they would beat me down. GC’s are amazing! Why my attackers never invested in them, I never knew why.
Some other mistakes I made as a rogue was growing too fast and taking on too many opponents. If I could do it over again I would grow and try to invest in high level planes, drop my infra level and attack low level nations. When people started to attack me with high level planes I died off quickly.
The biggest mistake I made when I tried to get out of a hole was to self-anarchy myself by deploying all my soldiers. This tactic might have worked, but at the moment I did this someone attacked me thus sending all my soldiers home. The system said I already deployed for the day and I had no soldiers to attack with.
The part that would kill me as a rogue was when I would run out of money and started to loose the battles. Once I got into this hole I couldn’t seem to get out of it. Then my attackers would over power me. Any advice in what to do to regain the upper hand?
