Nordic Knights Pact A Protection Treaty between The Templar Knights and The Vikings Introduction: The Templar Knights (TTK) and The Vikings, upon signing this treaty, hereby agree to adhere to the terms put forth within. Article I - Conduct: Members of both The Templar Knights and The Vikings shall show each other mutual respect and courtesy at all times. Article II - Non-Aggression: Neither The Templar Knights, nor The Vikings shall engage in acts of war or espionage against the other. Article III - Protection: The Templar Knights agree to protect The Vikings from rogues or unprovoked wars of aggression. The Templar Knights also agree to act as mediator for any conflicts between The Vikings and outside forces. The Vikings are not obligated to assist The Templar Knights in military engagements. Article IV - Tech Raiding: The Templar Knights and The Vikings recognize that any war arising due to tech raiding on the part of The Vikings shall be considered a provoked act of aggression and nullify Article III. The Vikings agree to abstain from tech raiding nations in already established alliances. Article V - Assistance: The Templar Knights shall assist The Vikings in building a strong economy and a stable alliance through reasonable means. Article VI - Intelligence: Should either The Templar Knights or The Vikings receive information that indicates a threat to the security of one another, that information shall be communicated through private channels within 24 hours. Article VII - Treaty Notifications: The Vikings agrees to inform The Templar Knights of all treaties PIAT-level and above and take the advice given by The Templar Knights under due consideration before making a final decision. Article VIII - Cancellation: This treaty may be canceled at the discretion of The Templar Knights or The Vikings. The canceling party shall be required to give the other alliance 48 hours prior notice. If The Vikings commit a grave violation of the spirit of this treaty The Templar Knights reserves the right to cancel the protectorate immediately.
