1. o/ CoIN o/ CRAP friends since pretty much the beginning, let's keep it that way.
2.
How's my memory? You're the guy that went nuke-rogue on Nickyh from 1TF! So... yeah - I certainly question your scruples. Care to comment on mine?
You question the scruples of another when yours are on trial, a little deflection much? Perhaps you should focus on your issues and try to properly address them.
3.
We're not hanging around your channels or forums asking if you're gonna leave the war every day. It's up to you to tell us, if you are leaving, at least so that we could take over again. 17:38 <********>: The 57th got rolled by an ally, thus effectively taking us from the fight. CoIN and The Fed were not prepared with warchests etc to carry on without us it seems Mystery solved huh. Seems like that info would have been better delivered to us when you joined the fight, than by your friends the day after you left. We will be affected by this now that TORN has largely gotten into peace mode, so yeah, you've already caused future damage to TR and C&G. But all things considered-
Mystery solved: yes you are arrogant. I realize that perhaps we did not communicate with you regarding our intent to discuss peace arrangements with WFF & TORN however they were communicated to our treaty partner. You are NOT our treaty partner. The information contained in the quotes regarding our warchests is not entirely accurate however we do have some membership that don't maintain the necessary warchest, no different than any other alliance. However, we chose to exit when roughly 45% of our bloc strength was crippled due to a absurd attack from their ally. Obviously, that severely hindered our ability to be effective in waging war against our two targets, furthermore, with the bulk of our nations (those in the 10k-20k) fighting against nuclear capable nations while not themselves capable they were of reduced effectiveness without the additional strength of the 57th. I shouldn't have to be on here justifying this to you, whom we do not maintain a relationship with but I chose to do so be helpful. Hopefully despite our short entry into this war (in which we did cause some severe damage BTW), Oh BTW, before I forget we had absorbed originally 12 slots against TORN (9 nations) and were not the only major players against them... so if the bulk of TORN has entered peace mode, perhaps you need to look at others as well. In fact, of the 9 nations that we engaged, 4 entered peace mode otherwise the remainder are still active war nations.....
4.
lol what ?? i dont ... Even know... o/ TORN keep up the good fight... Honestly it only seems like u guy loose ns when TR hits u Any ways good job on your end torn have fun best of luck to you! Hopefully you wont get TR to surrender
I am pretty certain that they lost a significant amount of NS after we attacked as well as WFF.... we did our part and chose that this was an appropriate time to enter into a peace agreement given other circumstances.
5.
Whereas you government, who not only broke an MDP-level treaty but did it by attacking the alliance it was held with, for reasons that are not only innaccurate but would be completely moronic even if true, are so much better.
That about sums of the CB as well as the events that transpired to arrive at it. This CB smacks of an inability to think in any terms that don't arrive a violent conclusion. There apparently was no thought process involved in the decision nor any possible belief as to the repercussions. Unfortunate, I used to hold GLOF in rather high regard.
6.
Out of curiosity from an uninvolved bystander, does this forbid Nexus alliances from taking sides in the conflict with GLoF? I would be rather confused to see 57th Overlanders trying to claim neutrality in that one...
The 57th is obviously involved in that conflict ... and on a side note Veneke has specifically requested that we do not assist them in that conflict to prevent it from escalating otherwise we would have already acted I am sure. Nexus will not be participating in the GLOF-57th conflict.
7.
You know, with all the negativity in this thread I feel a need to mention some of the good things that have come out of it. It just warms my heart to see enemies like NSO and GOD, embroiled in a war against one another, put aside our differences in calling out GLoF on their utter !@#$%^&*.
It is certainly amusing.... perhaps that is a statement in of itself?
8. They are an offer for early exit from the conflict. Nobody is forcing them to accept the terms. And aside from requiring them to enter Peace Mode, how are they stringent?
9. Individual Surrender Terms Being benevolent in nature, the individual alliances of the Nexus have agreed to present the following individual surrender terms to those that desire to exit the conflict early:
[1] Enter Peace mode for the duration of the war, this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis subject to negotiations and the actual duration of war. [2] Do not accept or send foreign aid. [3] Change your AA to "Nexus PoW". [4] Decommission your forces to the minimum required to keep yourself out of anarchy, including nuclear weapons. [5] Decommission any military improvements, barracks, g.camps, etc. except those necessary to maintain wonders. (edited for clarification) [6] Do not re-enter the conflict. [7] Post your notice of surrender on the Nexus forums by following the links for TORN individual Surrenders or WFF Individual Surrenders
Violation of these terms will result be subject to ZI.
10. Some may view the past few months as less than was hoped for after the demise of the NPO as the determiner in this world.... however, despite that tarnishing of the promise of a glorious tomorrow, two things stood bright as a beacon: friendship and honour. The Nexus partners have stood together in the past and will in the future and we stand at the precipice yet again. We must honor the bonds of friendship that we cling to so deeply. An attack has been made on our friends in Athens..... without cause or justification. Our friend has called and we will answer. Make no mistake, we are small in stature but it is made up for in the strength of our resolve. Let our enemies on the battlefield stand as a testament to that resolve. Onward! In response to The Coalition of Independent Nations MDP with Athens, the optional aggression clause of the Nexus agreement has been activated. Nuclear attacks, including attempts to spy away nuclear weapons, whether such attempts succeed or not, will be responded to with nuclear force by ALL nuclear capable nations. The no first strike doctrine of the Nexus Agreement remains in effect. If the war we enter is nuclear, then we accept that nuclear activities are occurring and will partake. To conclude, under the relevant articles of the Nexus agreement, a state of war now exists between TORN & WFF and the undersigned alliances of the Nexus. "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; or close the wall up with our Nexus dead! In peace, there's nothing so becomes a man as modest stillness and humility; but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger; stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage." For Nexus: Signed by the Coalition of Independent Nations: Jerry Wagner ~ Triumvirate of CoIN: Foreign Affairs sulli90 ~ Triumvirate of CoIN: Finance Slicer845695 ~ Triumvirate of CoIN: War Signed by the 57th Overlanders: Veneke ~ Captain TheHIV ~ Commander DesertSon ~ Lieutenant Lord Panda ~ Lieutenant Signed by The Federation: Champcardon ~ President of the Federation StylesJl ~ Senator Tarman2010 ~ Senator Thrawn Alderies ~ Interim Senator
11. Despite the sad news of Silence's exit from the Nexus Bloc, we are pleased to announce the continuation of CoIN's and Silence's long-standing friendship with the below packaged treaty...... shhhh.....
12. Perhaps you should ensure that your members and those of your allies are not mounting attacks for the day and then offering peace.
13. While white peace is admirable and desirable, I believe that we would prefer that people stopped trying to twist this into some magnificent victory for BC and CoJ and that they would follow the conditions of the peace agreement and offer peace immediately. I believe it to be a violation of peace agreements if peace is not offered immediately and to continue attacking.
14. I have learned from your other posts to take pretty much everything that you state with a grain of salt.... consider this one of those statements. We are aware.
15. And I would imagine mine as well. Would have been really interesting. o/peace
16. Kodiak withdrew his statement because he realized the lack of sense to his remark considering it was an emotional period.... too bad that you won't be able to realize the lack of sense in your remarks.
17. And I suspect that we will be unfortunate enough to have to continue to listen to him and of course Schatt for a long time to come. Cheers to failed logic!
18. Careful..... spying is bad even when its not spying.
19. Just by observing your statements, it is quite clear that you do not understand the situation. Having been an ally of the 57th for quite some time, it is clear to me that they would never have the intention of ZIing anyone. Specifically in this case, the 57th's intention was to bring to BC the war that they requested and answer the threat preemptively. Perhaps you require remedial English to understand the situation?
20. Glad to see this over without a high loss of lives. CoIN supports its allies in the 57th.....
21. Bandwaggoning is bad...... To Victory our friends and Allies!
22. Congrats to Silence on the huge upgrade... back to where it needs to be.
23. Congrats to our friends In Silence on the upgrade.....
