  1. 1. I forgot to buy back my labor camps and lost 270mill. (Happened recently) 2. Having never sold tech in my nations life. 3. Thinking it would be cool to be a mercenary and then finding out the hard way why it is a bad idea. (Back in the day when the largest nations were 5k NS) Now I regret all the mistakes I made. If I had skipped my wars I would be 20k Infra. If I had not sent out over 1bill in foreign aid, If I had sold tech when I was small, and had started buying tech when I should have I would be in the top #5. When I put it that way the mistakes I made when I was still a small nation sound pretty bad.... PS: I made the mistake with the 10% tax rate also.
  2. In the World Demographics section of Cybernations the total number of military killed has no number. http://www.cybernations.net/stats_demographics.asp
  3. I own the Pentagon and the WRC. It would be my recommendation you buy those two.
  4. Just say that Vulcans came to visit earth and you would have the Star Trek story. ^^^
  5. I bought my first nuke at 8k NS. ^^^ By purchasing the MP you will lose about one million a day in lost income and bills. You might as well go ahead and buy it as you really need to get nukes eventually anyways. Without them you are a sitting duck for nuke capable nations and they will wipe the floor with you. In the end it is your choice but I do recommend buying the MP.
  6. I have 35 navy vessels being all of the nuclear invincible ones (including battleships) and some frigates. I'm paying out 830k a day on them.
  7. Syzygy's suggestion would work. It would solve the many problems, not just the ones with tech.
  8. Even though it would hurt me I still believe it needs to be implemented. Though, if restricted to 1/3rd, the aid cap could then be raised much higher without negative effects.
  9. I got an event and I lost 2% of my pop. I have not had a good event in probably over a year.
  10. Ten percent chance! Maybe I will actually get them now.
  11. I found when looking at my nation and I click the aid tab it gives me 2 pages to see all my recent aid history. The bug is when you click to go to the second page to see the rest of your aid history it just brings up the following window. http://i31.nonpermited image host.com/b8a6ug.jpg I think the ability to go to the next page is broken under the foreign aid tab.
  12. I agree, to bad it won't be fixed any time soon.
  13. They should add a wonder that requires you be in the top 2.5%, costs 175mill, and requires SDI. When you buy this 'super nuke' it would cost about 50mill, no 'super nuke' stockpile, and would do 1k infra damage. The price would be fine for the damage it does and the tier of nations it is marketed to. Now that would bring some fear back to the upper tier. Back to topic. This wonder has its uses in nuclear war but they are limited. By no means does this devalue nukes.
  14. This update actually required to me get rid of a BW.
  15. Nukes are still extremely devastating compared to normal warfare. There just not nearly as respected as they once were. I'm fine with nukes as they are now and they have become even more deadly with the latest update. I'm just stating that they are not the weapon of mass fear they once were.
  16. I do not think this wonder is a bad thing and I do agree with Syzygy 100% that this wonder does not really harm nukes. My complaint, which is not against this wonder, is that nukes are no longer game ender weapons. Then again I don't believe you should be able to destroy a nation that has built infra for a year and a half in just one or two wars. Nukes are just no longer feared by all of CN and that is what I think is bad. Though, with how many people have nukes that might be a good thing.
  17. It takes nukes down a little bit but not that much. Now with tech influencing nukes they still do more damage than they did previously. Losing 2700 infra from nukes alone in one war is bad enough. If you tack on CM's and everything else it would come out closer to 3800 infra lost in a 1v1. I do get your point. Nukes are not the ultra-devastating weapon they once were right after the game started. Alliances should once again be afraid to start a nuclear war for fear of both alliances being blown into submission. Sadly this is not the case any more.
  18. I agree that it should affect all "minable" resources.
  19. ACP would only give me about a 300k a day increase. The WRC looks extremely tempting adding the extra nuking power.
  20. With the new wonders coming out what order would you recommend I buy my next wonders in? I don't suspect I will need to change my current order but just double checking. I currently have the following wonders: Disaster Relief Agency, Great Monument, Great University, Great Temple, Internet, Interstate System, National Research Lab, Social Security System, Stock Market, Strategic Defense Initiative, and Universal Health Care.
  21. Oh, yes, I understand. Your unhappy that everybody with nukes has an extra 3k NS. I could say similar things about wonders. I will never be able to have as many wonders as some of the older nations in the game making them ALWAYS have an economic advantage over me. The only difference with nukes is that you can no longer leap in and out of nuke range on a whim. Though, I guarantee you that if you are decent with your nation you could grow into the top 5% without to much trouble. Also, as stated in other posts, this is one of the worst times to try to get into the top 5% as there have been almost no wars recently.I do agree with you 100% that it does mean it will take you a bit longer to get into the top 5%. However I don't believe that it unbalances the game. Also, there was no reason to be rude towards me.
  22. I find IE much easier than Firefox. The older versions of IE were fairly sad but I really enjoy the latest version. EDIT: I modified some programing in my router and firewall so I am not to worried. It is amazing how sad these people are who make these firewalls.
