To state that RV's attack against the other Spartan nation, along with The Galactic Republic attacks, were in self defense, is just far-fetched at best. Those attacks were RV picking on nations half his size in order to continue his jokes. The only way that he could warrant a self-defense claim is if he were to attack back against Slovenis, who by all accounts and according to the majority's opinion, attacked him justly. The sanction may have been overkill, and it is not my place to state my opinion on that matter, but it is completely false to say that Sparta's actions were the first true act of aggression. RV instigated this matter, he escalated it, and Sparta responded.

It's going to be quite awhile. To put it into perspective, if GRL was for just the past 7 days and not the past 30, it would still be at 4.55. Depending on how long this war goes, I'd say about two to three months before it's under 5 again, and that's if peace is given or more of NPO falls into peace mode.

All alliances in the top 6 gained at least 0.09 to their score and the top 4 all posted gains of 0.13 or larger, including New Polar Order's impressive gain of a quarter of a point. New Pacific Order saw a loss that was smaller than many of their previous losses and subsequently handed the title of biggest loser over to Ragnarok for the day. With that loss, Independent Republic of Orange Nations was able to regain their sanction that they just recently lost. Lower down in the race, we see a heated race get even closer as Mushroom Kingdom and Commonwealth Of Sovereign Nations have both pulled to within one tenth and two tenths of a point of passing United Purple Nations respectively. Global Alliance And Treaty Organization is continuing to prove just how strong of an alliance they are as they continue to quickly rebuild over the past couple months, while passing a couple more alliances today. North Atlantic Defense Coalition has a very strong day while earning the biggest gainer award. A repeat performance tomorrow will put them in passing distance of M*A*S*H by the end of the week. The bottom of the race is heating up as there are now seven alliances within half a point of each other. The recent additions of The Sweet Oblivion, The Templar Knights, and today's newcomer, New Sith Order, have put pressure on the other alliances at the bottom of the race to not only avoid the drop line, but to also avoid being passed by these new additions. Let's keep a close eye on New Sith Order as they have shown how quickly they can grow as they enter the sanction race on their 90th day as an alliance. A special shoutout go to Independent Republic of Orange Nations for regaining their sanction even while being bogged down by peace terms.
