1. I for on would like to congratulate those brave spartans that came back home on their shields. Hopefully they will give hell to those who came home without theirs.
 2. Ohai Spartans. It will be our pleasure to send you back on your shields. Atari Jaguar!
 3.
OOC: She nation sat a nation without posting an application for it on the OWF... She also then passed on the account to a friend. Neither is within the rules of the game I thought, and as players do we not have a duty to report them? Again I repeat, could we have done more to prevent it? Sure... but is that not the case in any crime?
And it was just an "oversight" that this information was withheld by certain people until they realised they will not get the permission to ZI Peggy as easily as they thought? I am more than certain they had nothing but "fair play" in mind during that time. Surely those people have great consideration for upholding rules and didn't act upon grief when they finally decided to report suspicious activity, no way they would use such a report as a weapon when other methods were failing them.
 4. On second thought i won't dig this deeper, have fun you two...
 5. As a liason to Pegasus alliance and a person partaking in many of the talks and aware of most events that led to the current situation all I'm gonna say is both sides deserve the treatment they receive from each other. My only hope is nuclear winter will cool some heads on both sides of this.
 6. Summary of election for BAPS' overwatch Senate Due to the terms of the current electable senators (ocallagh and Ste05) ending this month it was my duty to hold elections leading to filling those seats for the next 6 months. In accordance to the charter only Senior Members were able to run for this position as well as vote in this election. Nominations Nominations of candidates lasted from July 6th to July 13th and resulted in 5 members becoming candidates:

Dazed
Maximus Bluntus
ocallagh
Shervin
Ste05
Vote Vote lasted from July 17th till July 20th. Senior Members were able to vote for multiple candidates. (2 was the recommended number) To become a senator candidate was required to receive more than 33.33% of votes. A total of 22 members took part in the vote. Voting results:

Ste05 - 13 votes [30.23%]
ocallagh - 11 votes [25.58%]
Shervin - 11 votes [25.58%]
Dazed - 4 votes [9.30%]
Maximus Bluntus - 4 votes [9.30%]
RON(ReOpen Nominations) - 0 votes [0.00%]
None of the candidates received enough votes to become a senator. Run-off vote A run-off was held from July 22nd to July 25th and candidates with least votes (Dazed and Maximus Bluntus) were excluded. (Also there was no RON option) Again, Senior Members were allowed to vote for multiple candidates. Again, candidates were required to receive more than 33.33% to become a senator. A total of 24 members took part in the vote. Voting results

Ste05 - 16 votes [38.10%]
ocallagh - 14 votes [33.33%]
Shervin - 12 votes [28.57%]
Upon receiving the required amount of votes Ste05 has been re-elected. 2nd run-off vote A second run-off was held to fill the final Senate seat. This time Senior Members were allowed to vote for a single candidate. In the even of a tie result from previous run-off would be used as a "tie-breaker" to decide the winner. A total of 26 members took part in the vote. Voting results.

ocallagh - 13 votes [52.00%]
Shervin - 12 votes [48.00%]
Upon receiving more votes in the last run-off ocallagh has been re-elected. Results summary Ste05 and ocallagh have been re-elected for the next 6 months and will continue their duty from August 1st. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the new/old Senators as well as the other candidates on a well fought election. I would also like to thank all the members who cast their votes in the election for their participation.
 7.
Should you wish to renew your treaty, simply declare BAPS PZI wholesale, change your executive officer and un-PZI them all, then propose a MADP.
Luckily our current allies aren't as spineless as those we had back then who came to us to cancel at the very sight of war that there was no chance of winning. This is one aspect of the whole thing you are conveniently missing. But "selective memory" seems common amongst those who like to call themselves "Karma".
 8.
Then what is wrong with saying a respectful no and going on your way?
Note: I am not defending GO here, what they did does not fall under standards either, but I do believe UPN was doing it wrong to begin with.
 9.
I am not in their position, so I could not speculate what I would or would not do. But I can say that the man is looking for viable ways to keep UPN going, something that should be seen as respectable in some sense. Which can be not said of some others.
It's hard to be respected when you ask another alliance to abandon their allies, sovereignity, form of government and sense of integrity and merg into your alliance just because "you have problems". Not only GO were asked to abandon everything while being given next to nothing in return, they were to do so solely for UPN's benefit. I think there is a very thick line here beyond which charity can't reach. And asking for charity itself doesn't earn you respect either, quite the opposite.
 10. Hasta la vista Legion. Don't forget to write!
