well I've never used 1&1 so I can not comment on the quality of service. Since, i've not seen the game have many issues.. they seem to be pretty good.

GATO is not doomed, nor is our FA.. even though I dislike a few people and they dislike me..
I will be discussing everything with my alliance before any decisions are made, as per our Charter and Laws... the General Assembly of GATO has the full voting power to approve or deny any treaty change, as well as VONC any member of government they feel is not representing GATO to the best of their abilities.
There are those that think I am trying to burn gato to the ground are out to lunch. I am trying to help this alliance the best I can.

FA update:- Inactive Embassies will be purged for inactivity. if we have not heard from you in over 3 months on our forums, your embassy will be archived.
- All users under our foreign diplomat mask will be verified for having a valid nation against in game data and will be moved to foreign guest.
- All other masks for diplomats will be audited as well.

IC: personally PZI will solve nothing if you claim they are a repeat offender.. assuming roto has only one nation.. what would stop him from making a new nation under different name? -
personally.. I think that IC harassment of any kind should be against the rules if it's not already.. and forcing pzi, and someone to reroll because you don't like how they play the game or them as a person is beyond excessive..
I think there needs to be a line drawn here.. and realize that not everyone that plays this game is completely 100% mentally stable here.. and they may find what they do fun for them.. while others find it annoying.. you have to stop living inside a square box of just your own little world, and look for other reasons for why people do things..
edit to add: how many players that play this game take some form of mood stabilization drugs.. and how many that should, don't because they cant afford it.. -

In the alliance announcements coding you use the maxlength in the message option, but not in the announcement_title field name
You code it for a post value check when you could use maxlength=30 on the input to have the value as:
<input type="text" maxlength="30" name="Announcement_Title" size="30" class="FormFieldInput" style="WIDTH: 150px;">
This would eliminate the post code check requirement.
just my opinion which could clean up the code.
