    I realize spouting gibberish without reading is your strong suit but really. I am arguing AGAINST OOC and FOR RP. So I am following my own standard doofus. I was complimenting MQ for their RP and was arguing it should only be IC on the forums.Because all of us are RPing an internet persona even in places like the Boiler room. The moral tone you brainwave was a support for RPing and the hypocrisy of people like Rushboy who claims he hates all RL analogies and links yet has chosen from RL literature or people a RL avatar, RL leader name< RL alliance name< RL Nation name, and RL Capital City.

    Rushie Boy nice pick of avatar but if you think GR is only about yelling bad pasta you know nothing of the man..You play a cynical smart mouth and so does GR. The avatar as I pointed out would be meaningless without its RL connection and you know it.

    I am waiting now Dear Rush for your critique of the terrible RP your buddies in MQ have done or the terrible RP of the Biodad by MK. What ?? No where did you post on those threads your grave concern about the RP?

    No you are wrong. hardly surprising given you track record. There are no real OOC forums. There are forums where we need not speak in our IC persona but that does not prevent you and others from hiding behind your internet personae. That is RP my fine lad. You who do not put even your age or location in your bio should fully understand that. All of this online environment is a little play. I have seen the bravado of 14 year olds in many online venues and adults pretending to be children. The internet is one great RP some(like you) just do not understand that anytime you do not put your name and face to a post it is a RP. The sad part is some of you have been playing in this realm so long you no longer can see it for what it is. I was saying that I appreciated the RP that MQ and MK do but was amused that you and others did not demean them as you do others who RP,. I simply enjoy posting in a RP style and am pleased it annoys little internet toughies like you. Enjoy the RP that others bring it is for us to enjoy so long as it is not deliberately offensive to a specific targeted group.

    You want it real with no RP then lets have at it. Stop spouting this crap about the IC postings. Unless your real name is Listener. You are not the leader of a Real Life nation. You do not even post your age on your own forums. I believe there should be a seperation of IC/OOC. So when you start posting on the OWF OOC forums with your real name and address I will listen to your lecture on the IC/OOC line. Until then your post is all a fine spout that you yourself do not subscribe to. I am not 15 I live in the real world. Just because public information is available does not mean it should be used . So since you are a big believer in the OOC posting feel free to release your age, address , phone # and age these are all public records. Until that time take your moral tone down a notch for you cannot live to your own standards.

    There's a give and take. I am not simply eliciting emotional reactions for the sake of it. I do have wider political goals, and I have always believed that everything you do should be honest. For instance, I quite honestly despise MK, I quite honestly mean the things I say, and I quite honestly mean to say things in the highly abrasive manner in which I say them. And there is an intentional effort on my part to continue to being an utter and vocal jerk to those people, and I happen to be one of the best in the game at being a thoroughly dislikable character. I do something that other people can't do because they aren't quite as dislikable as me: I quite successfully make myself into a target for all sorts of boneheaded moves from my opponents. People go out of their way and spend political capital just to spite me. And that is the true victory of what I do, not simply "ha ha you think I'm an idiot." It's "ha ha you think I'm an idiot that is worth spending so much capital on spiting."

    MK in particular, with their brand of recklessness, was a particularly easy target for these antics.

    There are two reasons I "revealed" this (I think it's obvious, but whatever): First, as a final slap in the face since they're on their way out, and second, because I'm confident that even telling you explicitly (and even posting this further explanation here) will not significantly hamper my abilities. Indeed, by calling me an "idiot," you are proving that I still have the believably that you mentioned.

    That's the thing: you're not even really good at this. Not at all. THAT is what everyone is trying to tell you. No one spent political capital on you. Ever. You're a bleep on the radar. A ridiculous bleep but still a bleep. People (on both sides) pass your posts around and go "look at this idiot". Answering you doesn't anger anyone. Not at all. You might be giggling to yourself in your mum's basement, thinking "omg i are huhsumz" but the reality is that you're mediocre at best. The only thing you have going for you is time spent here.

    As for your "success", there are many people that are better than you at being a jerk/villain. Archon, Moo, Ivan, Crymson, Grub, Ardus or Xiphosis, to name the world leaders. Heck, even d34th or Schatt do it better than you. And at least we know they do it on purpose.

    Oh and before you go "lulz you took time to answer me, i must be hitting on your nerves", just because I enjoy calling someone a moron doesn't mean I'm angry. I don't give a &#33;@#&#036; if you are a moron. Or pretend to be one. I just enjoy pointing out inadequacies.

    I've been trying to think up a youtube promotional vid or even just an animated gif or two that encapsulates the essence of the game without creating false expectations... and I can't do it. Except for hilariously over acted close up shots of a finger hitting a mouse button in movie-action-style. It's a "spreadsheet" game for spreadsheet nerds. Like us. There's nothing else quite like it, and I still love it, but how to give it that new modern visual twist???

    People saying that are oft jaded old timers. Sure, we lost people like Moo, ES and co. But the next generation (Archon, Xiph...) was great. And the following one is showing great prospects. The difference is 1. we've tried pretty much everything in this game. It's stale and it's very difficult to find something new to do; 2. there are a lot of subpar wannabes who are attention whoring like there's no tomorrow in hopes of making a name for themselves but, in the end, bring very little (Ubuntu, Tom Marvolo Riddle, Rotavele, d34th, SCY...)

    CN numbers = roughly 12000, compared to when it peaked at around 15000, not to mention the fact less people are on the forums.
