1. You really have no right to complain about coalition disunity given the AA you lead, but you're not entirely wrong so I'll give you that.
2. Good to know, hopefully this means you won't mind when you get them next war. :)
3. Emphasis my own. Based only matters off of initial perceptions, and from that point onwards the onus is on you, as the personification of the character, to create your own personality and destiny. What have you done with that? You've joined an awful alliance, acted like you're some sort of tough cookie, and just generally been a nuisance. Some accomplishments. Honestly, you're a far better Janos Slynt then a Daenerys. Also (Spoilers for the book series up to ADWD):
There's no verification at this point that Daenerys isn't crazy. Aerys' insane tendencies didn't come out until later in his life, after the traumatic events he experiences at Duskendale. Daenerys has proved to be calculating and occasionally cruel to her enemies, and there's no proof anywhere that she isn't going to lose it like her father did.
4. Were you even here for Equilibrium? I mean, I get that you're trying to pull a ~propaganda~ move here, but you might as well at least attempt to inject some sense into it all. This coalition wasn't "brilliant" like Tywin tries to pull it, but it was hardly terrible either. Middle of the road, really.
5. No, I'm referring to ruler Daenerys Targaryen of nation New Valyria. Must I spell it out for you? Fine: you're fucking crazy.
6. "King Jaehaerys once told me that madness and greatness were two sides of the same coin. Every time a new Targaryen is born, he said, the gods toss the coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land." I guess we know which side it landed on this time...
7. ... And the guns fall silent over the Pacific. Well fought to all.
8. If the results of previous years are any indication, the vast majority of the "most likely to..." awards are entirely meaningless. Then again, the "best x" awards don't really mean anything either. Congrats to the winners regardless.
9. You really can't argue that any of those reconciliations are near the scale of the ones made between ourselves and Polar/UPN/XX. Maybe with Pacifica, buy beyond that I see them more as simple political moves rather than the burying of old rivalries. When in the past did NSO have issues with NG? Or Nordreich? You're not wrong there, plus there was a general perception (funnily enough) that our chained ties at the time would be enough to keep our group together. Regardless, you're happy the treaty was never signed, and I'm not really looking back on it. That's just how the world works. I know what he's talking about. Still doesn't make it relevant to the discussion we're having. Though if you wish to elaborate, feel free. I'm not going to stop you, and I'm not afraid (or embarrassed) by my past. As for the NpO treaty, your assessment isn't inaccurate for the initial discussions that took place, but it quickly becomes wrong. We discovered very early in our conversations with NpO that they were an alliance who (like TOP) was ambitious, capable, and effective. They set goals and worked hard to achieve them. This led to the development of a deep-seated respect that I feel both Polars and Paradoxians alike have for each other. It's the same reason we could turn our hostility with MK into a friendship- mutual respect. So, I'd say that the analysis of your mystery "certain former high gov member" may have been correct for a brief moment in the beginning, but was quickly made obsolete and is no longer accurate.
10. Yes, we did hate Polar, UPN, and XX for a long time. The situation of the present does not change the reality of the past. Learning to bury the hatchet and move on to new avenues of discussion with former enemies is enlightening, and its allowed me (and TOP) to find a lot of friends and partners that we otherwise wouldn't have. NG should try it some time, it works wonders. As Grand Chancellor my government pushed for a NG treaty as well (this is pre-eQ) and it didn't work out. Despite not the best of relationships currently, I'm not glad or angry about never signing a treaty with Non Grata. I'm ambivalent- when one door closes, another opens. I really don't know what my time in Ragnarok has to do with TOP and NG during the War of the Orders, but if that's the best dirt you've got on me, feel free to use it. No one cares what your assessment of TOP's war performance is. What matters is the perspectives of our coalition partners, friends, and allies- all of which are perfectly happy with the way we have conducted ourselves this war. :) It was sarcasm...
11. Really hit a nerve here, didn't I? I particularly enjoy how you chose to describe TOP's opponents in terms of their coalition "Equilibrium" while laying out each of NG's opponents in detail, and using descriptors like "heavy lifting" as though it'll make you sound more formidable or something. You can make any excuse or justification that you'd like, it really doesn't help your case. This war has proved the long-standing theory that NG is all talk and very, very little significant bite. Feel free to tell me that NG has no claims for political relevance and just wants to have fun with their friends, but don't act like you wouldn't be reaching for the throne if you weren't laughably bad at it. Welp, now that Caustic has me on ignore, I should clearly just stop posting and delete my nation. It isn't worth it anymore.
12. Daenerys, you should join the Party. I have a feeling you'd be a perfect fit.
13. If GPA would eat us for breakfast, and we eat NG for breakfast, then what does that say about NG's military prowess? Makes you think...
14. This was so informally true already that it changes little... always nice to have it made official though. AZTEC is a fine grouping and Sengoku will fit in perfectly there. Congrats, friends! :)
15. WS, I think you're wrong here. R&R may be the bee's knees, but it isn't Ultra! I mean, you know an alliance is awesome when they have to project their superiority in their name.
16. Oh man, micro drama. Does anyone else feel something scratching at their ankles again?
17. Oh, it is? Please, tell me more about the operations of my alliance and their allies, I seem to be woefully uninformed.
18. I've got my money on TOP and NpO.
19. Damn. Also it was likely a mistype, but I quite enjoy "lobal stability".
20. Objectively speaking, its hard to be worse than Poison Clan.
21. If you return the favour by sending us a bunch of tech, we may be able to work things out ;)
22. Yes, I do, and I mentioned it earlier in a thread somewhere. Publicly I put out support for the tactic, but in private a pretty major hell storm was raised. It was a stupid thing to do then and it's a stupid thing to do now. Damage outputs are irrelevant.
23. I can consent to this. Never really enjoyed fighting my friends in NSO, but it was a good time nonetheless. Good luck with the rebuild, I know you guys will handle it well. Kashmir, well fought. You guys put up quite the tussle for a smaller alliance, and I respect that immensely.
