  1. The activities of the 'other realm' are not discussed on the Sparta forum or Discord, it is a sensitive topic for us and in the past - players such as myself and Hellas have been vocal about loyalty to CN only. It was pure dumb luck on my behalf to see AlmightyGrub and dajobo talk about 'other realms' and piece it together. I am horrified by the extent that the 'other realm' is playing a part here. Your post confirms that there is A LOT more going on. I don't care for it at all. I will not yell at anyone, I will hand out my remaining tech to old friends and take the high road on this one. - This post is final, I swear, hah. Regards
  2. AlmightyGrub, But you've made it abundantly clear, in your previous post here as well, that the peace terms - deliberately harsh - are a reflection of what is happening in "other realms". This is something out of mine and other Spartan's control - what do you expect the reaction to be? What can I do? Sorry for what is happening over there!? This is truly bizarre. I would like to take EateMuP's words seriously but it is pretty clear what is going on here. I have no issue with war, or pixel loss (it is the fun aspect of CN) but there are sinister forces at play here, I cannot help with this and I don't want to burden anyone with further posts. Polar is an alliance I've always liked and in years gone by - I had a chance to co-op with (Fark included). I will remember those times fondly. This war, my damage output was second only to Hellas, and just a bit less than EateMuP on the Polar side (CN Lyricalz stats confirm) - but it was all for nothing. For shame. Sorry if I have crossed "OOC lines", I am not too familiar with the decorum here. Regards
  3. It’s actually pretty funny because I could not figure out where all this angry rhetoric was coming from. Even the banter in this thread was tame, nothing Alex-Hellas has said was particularly malicious and it’s been relatively quiet on the other fronts. But suddenly, almost three months in – it escalates to ‘we will destroy you forever and ever - for your actions’ – I’m like, wtf is going on here guys? And then information about this mystical ‘other realm’ and ‘cross pollination’ appears. I have a general idea now, but can someone from Polar – for full disclosures’ sake – explain to OWF what has been happening on P&W and the profound impact it is having on Cybernations? Might as well put it all out there, particularly if peace terms here are going to include what’s happening over there? Maybe I have underestimated the popularity of that other game, but I am CN 4 lyf and have zero interest for your “proxy wars”… but if this is going to continue “forever” because you can … then this is the right time to end my 11-year CN journey. Goodbye and good luck to all.
  4. Re-reading Dajabo's post and he's also talking about "other realms" Other realms. Other goddamn realms... Now it has become painfully obvious why this is dragging out. You are settling foreign, non-CN grievances. Peace in CN was never really an option, was it? Just a carrot to leave out there... wow. Why the lack of transparency though?
  5. Hi all, I am neither in Sparta govt or active in CN politics - but in an effort to understand the spiteful vitriol that has marred this war I've engaged AlmightyGrub in conversation on the Sparta forums – it has been made clear that the reasons for prolonging this conflict are outside of Cybernations, specifically; “The cross pollination of your activity against us in other realms means that there is no easy way out of this war for you in CyberNations. You are stuck in Peace Mode forever.” In an obvious reference to that CN imitation; ‘Pol and War’. I do not know the extent of Polar’s migration, but I have been playing CN since 2006 and most recently have witnessed this imitation lure away some of our best and most active members, many do not return. As such I am firmly in the ‘f… that imitation’ camp. I am not the only one. Is this position shared by Polar CN govt – specifically EaTeMuP? As well as the Polar membership at large? If so, a disturbing line has been crossed and those involved with the imitation (on both sides) need to come clean about the end game here – for those of us committed to CN only. In anticipation of certain responses – I am under no illusion of Sparta’s position or war performance but the other claim by AlmightyGrub that “There is zero cost to watching you hide.” is preposterous. We can go into specific details, but despite our alleged peace – as of today - 67 of your nations are in nuclear anarchy (more than half the active membership). All the damage you have incurred on us has come at a cost. Some of you have experienced it less than others. However, these numbers are not 'zero cost' or sustainable for a major alliance, at least one that is committed to Cybernations. I don’t care if these comments put me offside with my own alliance, post-war I will join GPA if need be, but I am not joining that low-rent, CN imitation or fighting its wars. This should also serve as a warning to other alliances who are committed to CN but have encouraged members toward the imitation – its effects are potentially cancerous. Regards.
  6. Had the same problem happen to me today. We're both in Sydney (Australia) - different ISPs, different locations in Sydney and yeah... different people. Been playing the game for nearly two years and have exchanged 'aids' with the same player without any problems till today. Any info would be good! http://cybernations.net/aid_information.asp?Nation_ID=41333
