Hi all,
I am neither in Sparta govt or active in CN politics - but in an effort to understand the spiteful vitriol that has marred this war I've engaged AlmightyGrub in conversation on the Sparta forums – it has been made clear that the reasons for prolonging this conflict are outside of Cybernations, specifically;
“The cross pollination of your activity against us in other realms means that there is no easy way out of this war for you in CyberNations. You are stuck in Peace Mode forever.”
In an obvious reference to that CN imitation; ‘Pol and War’. I do not know the extent of Polar’s migration, but I have been playing CN since 2006 and most recently have witnessed this imitation lure away some of our best and most active members, many do not return. As such I am firmly in the ‘f… that imitation’ camp. I am not the only one.
Is this position shared by Polar CN govt – specifically EaTeMuP? As well as the Polar membership at large? If so, a disturbing line has been crossed and those involved with the imitation (on both sides) need to come clean about the end game here – for those of us committed to CN only.
In anticipation of certain responses – I am under no illusion of Sparta’s position or war performance but the other claim by AlmightyGrub that “There is zero cost to watching you hide.” is preposterous. We can go into specific details, but despite our alleged peace – as of today - 67 of your nations are in nuclear anarchy (more than half the active membership). All the damage you have incurred on us has come at a cost. Some of you have experienced it less than others. However, these numbers are not 'zero cost' or sustainable for a major alliance, at least one that is committed to Cybernations.
I don’t care if these comments put me offside with my own alliance, post-war I will join GPA if need be, but I am not joining that low-rent, CN imitation or fighting its wars. This should also serve as a warning to other alliances who are committed to CN but have encouraged members toward the imitation – its effects are potentially cancerous.
Regards.
