  1. Want to buy a $20 DECEMBER donation to my nation for 12million bucks. The 12 million can go through middle men if you have them or a long term single slot deal, or any other way you like. Need this just for december. Dont wait to ask me. Just look at my nation, and if it doesnt have the donation, give it one and we will work out how I pay you the 12m ASAP. 2. Hmm I didnt see that part about the tech improving your environment at the wiki. Can you provide a link to that section? Also, I didnt see the part about 60% citizens effecting environment either. (I saw a happiness one, but that was real soldiers, not effective). Maybe I am looking at a different wiki? Could you give a link to that part too? Thanks guys.
  3. Environment goes down when you have oil, rubber, or coal and they arent native. It goes down by exactly 1. Environment also seems to suffer when your EFFECTIVE soldiers is "too high" as well. I have a player in my alliance with not too many soldiers for his people to get unhappy, but the effective number is much higher, and his environment is suffering. Does anyone know exactly how high is too high for effective soldiers? Are there any other known modifers to environment? (I know water fixes it by 1, and one of the new wonders takes away the penalties of the bad resources.) By known, I mean "this causes X decrease/increase" not simply saying infra affects it somehow.
  4. Because X is actually another equation. I have run this through several nations. Each have a different X. Thus, the X is actually some sort of equation based on things I cant figure out. If X were a constant, I would have found it already.
  5. Hi all, I tried asking in the gameplay forum, but got no answer. So lets try here instead. If you totally remove all the income you get from happiness and things like the stock market that directly add income to your citizens, there is still some income left. In other words, citizen income comes from: ((some base something) + (direct income boosters) + (happiness converted to income)) * Modifiers Now, I have figured out all the parts except the (some base something) part. Does anyone know how the citizen's base income is calculated? Thats what I need to know.
  6. Sadly, it would not. I have that part perfectly worked out now. Its just the extra part that doesnt come from happiness I am missing. I would have thought by now that someone would know the Base Income, like it would be as common knowledge as the happiness to $ conversion rate. Oh well.
  7. Ok, lets try this again. FORGET happiness. Assume I have done everything properly. Dont debate it. I calculated it perfectly and figured out that part of my income. There is still some income left over. How do I figure out THAT part of the income? The part that DOESNT come from happiness?
  8. Umm... thats my point. I realize zero happiness isnt zero income. Thats why I am asking what the base income is...make sense now? And I said above, I took into account all wonders, all trades, and all improvements. Even the ones that apply to citizen income instead of happiness. I am still short. There is a base income out there, and I dont know what it is or how its calculated.
  9. I took the happiness number from my country, multiplied it by $2, then added in all the improvement and wonder benefits, then added the tradeset benefits. That came CLOSE to being my Gross income, but its lower. There must be some other factor, some other base income. Anyone know what a nation's base income is, not including happiness?
  10. How do you figure out what the "Base Citizen Income" is? I've been able to account for all the money from my tradeset, improvements, and wonders via my happiness. But that number is less than what the game tells me. In other words, if I just convert my Happiness into income, there is some missing. So there must be a Base Citizen Income. How do I find that out?
  11. What does it mean when an alliance is listed in Italics?
  12. Hi there, This is a pretty simple question, but since I dont know the formula for how tech price increases, I cant answer it myself. At what tech level is it economically cheaper to buy tech from other players at 1.5m per 50 tech? (As opposed to just buying in the tech purchase screen.) If nobody has that answer, maybe someone could tell me how the price of tech increases? Is it linear? Does it have jumps in prices at certain levels? Thanks.
  13. Hi there, and welcome to the NATO recruiting post! Do you want to join an alliance that is devoted to building up it's members economically? Read on. Do you want to join an alliance that fiercly protects it's members from outside attacks? Read on. Do you want to join an alliance that helps new nations with both advise and financial aid? Read on. Do you want to join an alliance that attacks nations and alliances left and right, screaming for blood? Well, stop reading then. NATO is an alliance built for the purpose of playing the game to have fun. We have some very experienced people who can give you all kinds of advise and information on how the game works, what the best strategies are, and how to build your nation or fight a war. We dont make many demands on you and really only ask that you stay active and interact with the rest of the NATO community. NATO has been instrumental in maintaining the CDT, the Common Defense Treaty, which is now the 4th largest power bloc in the game. The CDT is designed to help keep us all protected from any predators who might think we are easy pickings. NATO is built on friendship. We chat with each other, help each other, joke around, and generally have a good time. We have elections for our officials, we have several political structures set up to deal with any problems, and the alliance as a whole runs pretty smoothly. What can NATO offer your nation? • Protection: It’s a dangerous world out there for unaligned nations – joining NATO gives your nation safe haven. Rogue attacks against our members are never tolerated and we always protect our own. • Start up money: After two weeks of membership, you are eligible for a $100,000 start up bonus to help your nation prosper and expand. • Nation building: The alliance forums offer a variety of means to make money, find trade agreements, and exchange technology or foreign aid. We now offer Growth Grants from our Banking Program, where new nations can receive up to 3 million in direct aid to assist in nation growth. We also have a coordinated Trade Circle program that works within our alliance and with our Aqua buddies to get you the optimal trades for your resources. • Community: We are a friendly group that wants to hear from you. We make our forums as social and fun as we can. By networking with other members you can tap into the skills of experienced players eager to help you learn the game and grow your nation. What is your obligation as a NATO member? 1. You must be willing to come to the defense of your fellow NATO members. This is the primary duty for all member nations and the key reason for any alliance in CN. 2. In exchange for you start up bonus, we ask that you stay active with NATO for 30 days. 3. We expect you to understand the the NATO Charter and the the NATO rules of engagement. 4. We expect you to change your team color to Aqua. Don't worry, we will give you plenty of time to set up new trades in the aqua sphere, and help you if you would like. 5. We ask that you vote for our Senate candidate in the Aqua team senate. 6. We demand that you have fun. This is not optional. If you arent having fun, you arent doing it right. There is a lot more information for you to see if you like. 14. I see that some stuff has changed in the game. Like spies added, soldiers displayed as base (base with modifiers), etc. Is there a changelog for these kind of things? If so, anybody got a link to it so I can bookmark it? Thanks.
  15. Thanks, I guess i missed that when I read thru there.
